26/04/2025: We went there about three times, it never disappointed. Among the typical local dishes is the Tarantino calzone, a sort of half-moon ravioli drowned in tomato sauce with horse and flakes of caciocavallo cheese. They usually make generous first courses in a large pan, regardless of who had booked a tasting they still offer it. Truly super welcome.

12/05/2025: If you are in Taranto, passing through or for a short/long period, you cannot miss eating at Conte's, which uses fresh seafood products. The restaurant with the most renowned fish shop in Puglia next door boasts delicious dishes also thanks to the supply of this fish shop, yesterday I stopped because both my wife and I wanted a nice seafood risotto, to say it was excellent is an insult to excellence, we had an encore, before the risotto we also tasted three types of raw fish starters, very good. If you want to eat fish dishes, don't get lost in restaurants that have no tradition, go on the safe side and you won't regret it. I am proof of this 😋

02/06/2025: We are two Belgian tourists who ask for a table. We are told that they are full (when in fact they are not...). We end up leaving and coming back a little later and a student agrees to seat us at a table. One waiter is particularly unpleasant (an elderly gentleman). All the other tables are taken care of before us (even those who arrived well after us). It's a shame because the pasta with vongole is excellent.

02/06/2025: Very good value for money, you choose the fish you want to eat. Very good, but too bad the fish was overcooked. It must be the custom of the area, so better to let us know if you like your fish undercooked

10/05/2025: Jesus Christ ALWAYS A GUARANTEE. One of the best places to eat fish in Taranto. Pasquale and Alessandro and all the staff are very kind people. I have been to their place with friends many times. At Jesus Christ with their fixed menu you can eat as much as you like but above all everything is of super abundant quality and quantity. I highly recommend going there and tasting their appetizers, my favorites are the grilled mussels. Even the first courses are delicious, they always recommend the catch of the day. As second courses they almost always present salted fish or fried paranza or in any case of your choice. Everything is always perfect. I will continue to be their supporter, but above all I want to compliment their really good homemade tiramisu. It therefore deserves 5 stars.

18/05/2025: May 14, 2025. My son's swearing-in to the Navy, celebrated with relatives and friends in this restaurant (a stone's throw from the barracks). Very kind staff, exceptional food, well-kept and clean environment. Thanks to everyone, especially Nico who accommodated my every request. Highly recommended

01/05/2025: This take-away gastronomy place is very nice and welcoming, but also equipped with internal tables for those who want to eat on site; the food is very fresh and of excellent quality and there is a wide choice of dishes. The place is very clean, tidy and bright and the staff is very kind and professional. I go there often and when I can't or don't feel like going out, I place my orders by phone and Giando brings everything to my home, delivery very punctual. For me they are well deserved 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯👍🏻

23/05/2025: Difficult review, because the location is very beautiful and the food was not bad. Some reservations about the prices (definitely higher than average in places of similar quality) and the service. The latter, although courteous and professional, did not put us at ease, with some peaks of "roughness" not exactly pleasant. The main protagonist is the young manager, whose authority is not adequately supported by experience, resulting in being unfriendly and arrogant. The atmosphere, potentially 5-star, was strongly influenced by the fact that we were not allowed to have lunch outside; inside, without air conditioning, the environment was decidedly more "normal", but was strongly altered by the presence of public officials (at least I imagine so, judging by the "blue" cars parked wildly at the entrance complete with regional or state friezes) who, in large numbers, were having lunch at the taxpayers' expense with particularly fine wines. Also because of this presence, the service was slow and rushed. In short: I won't go back, Taranto, if you can't have lunch on the water, has (much) better things.

20/05/2025: A great experience for the palate, very fresh fish and superbly cooked. Not to mention the location that in itself deserves five stars plus. In the city of Taranto there is no more iconic place than this, on the navigable canal, almost under the swing bridge, a stone's throw from the castle.

17/05/2025: Good fish menu, from appetizer to fried food, 2 first courses, prawns and fried food. Wine, water, soft drinks of your choice. €54, too much? Fair? You decide....
