15/03/2026: Highly recommended restaurant. The seafood entrees were extraordinary, beautifully prepared and made with the highest quality ingredients. Kudos also to the owner, Mr. Umberto, a very friendly man who welcomes guests with great professionalism.

17/02/2026: Welcoming place and friendly, welcoming staff. We enjoyed a menu priced at €45 per person, which included a selection of raw and cooked seafood appetizers, followed by risotto and a first course with seafood mezze maniche. To finish, sea bream fillet with potatoes. To round it all off, lemon sorbet...house dessert...coffee and amaro. Overall, a satisfying dinner.

19/05/2026: Recently, and for the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant. I'll start by saying that my tastes are very particular, as are the details I pay attention to, so I ask you to read my review with a certain lightheartedness and spontaneity. From the outside, La Banchina focuses heavily on the view overlooking the harbor, which is especially appreciated during the warmer seasons. So, if you want to enjoy the view, I recommend requesting a table under the outdoor roof, where possible. Inside, you'll find a place that exudes its years of activity: almost thirty years of charm, lived-in, warm, well-maintained yet at the same time neglected in small details. However, I really appreciated the use of courtesy towels in the restrooms, which certainly contribute to a lower environmental impact. The menu offers a variety of dishes and drinks to choose from: the raw seafood was certainly fresh and high-quality, but in my opinion, the plating of many dishes and the flavors of others were very classic and unoriginal. I had the opportunity to try their lemon sorbet and tiramisu, which was among the desserts available, but the latter had a strong eggy flavor, and I stopped after the first taste. I'll continue by saying that I was very disappointed to notice, beyond his undeniable experience, that one of the waiters was quite prone to engaging in informal conversation and not paying full attention, probably due to the large number of customers. Furthermore, I didn't have much space available, neither on the table nor in the immediate area around it. My experience wasn't entirely negative or positive, which is why I'm rating it with 3 stars. 31/05/2026: I give it one star because it's the only way to give it less. Terrible experience: poor hygiene and dangerous structural problems. Avoid. I stayed at this 3/4-star hotel hoping for a comfortable experience, but I was extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, the facility does not meet minimum hygiene and maintenance standards. Here are the main problems I encountered during my stay: • Cleanliness: The sanitary conditions were unacceptable. Bathroom: The shower was broken and unusable. Furniture: The bedside table in the room was damaged. Safety: The most serious problem concerns the electrical system. The only outlet was burned out, and the plastic cover on the wall was broken and extremely dangerous. I left before the scheduled nights and they wanted payment for both one night already paid for by the person who had organized the conference I attended plus the extra night. So I explained the situation to the reception, explaining why I was leaving, also having to find new accommodations, and that if they had insisted I would have called the NAS. I do not recommend this property to anyone, especially considering the hotel's declared category. I am surprised that anyone still chooses it. Close immediately.

31/05/2026: The location is great, right on the beach. The property is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are decades old. Clean but very worn. The rooms lack kettles, coffee, tea, water, or drinking glasses. The air conditioning is noisy but doesn't cool well. Delicious coffee for breakfast.

14/04/2026: I've been coming here for over 25 years, and it's always a pleasure. At first, I stopped for work, but now it's for the friendship and the relaxed, family-like atmosphere. I recommend this place, and I assure you, you'll have a great time!

19/04/2026: We arrive at 1:00 PM sharp. We're among the first to be seated, we order, and the appetizers arrive immediately. So far, so good. Once the appetizers are finished, we wait for the first courses. An hour passes and nothing, we ask the waiter, and he tells us they're preparing the dishes, another hour passes and they tell us the dishes are arriving. In the meantime, we order a fried fish dish for the second course, considering how long it takes for the first course. It's 4:00 PM when the first courses finally arrive. Spaghetti with seafood. With raw mussels and closed clams. Disappointed with the first course, we wait for the fried fish to satisfy our taste buds, but only the waiter comes to tell us that the fried fish is finished. Meanwhile, it's 4:30 PM. We get up to pay the bill, and not a single euro is discounted. It's a shame because the place is very nice.
