17/08/2025: Friendly gentlemen bring you appetizers right away, and you think it's part of the tasting. But then you pay for everything in your bill. The service is quick. No English spoken. The food is delicious. You'll be full. Watch carefully what you order and what the staff brings. Refuse unsolicited dishes to avoid surprises when you get the bill, or ask if there's a fee. Enjoy your meal.

05/01/2026: 2-star hotel. Central location, but rooms and bathrooms are tiny and dated. Amenities are poor (drinking water is available for a fee, no kettle or anything else, almost no shower kit, blasting radiators with no humidifiers). The restaurant is not recommended.
This hotel is for those with modest expectations and who can adapt.
01/01/2026: The hotel is said to be 4 stars... It actually has one star due to its location and type of facility. Service is minimal, practically nonexistent. We ate dinner there and it was very disappointing. The dishes were raw or undercooked, and everything was too salty. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory.

26/12/2025: My family and I went to Santo Stefano, and we had a problem with the raw seafood, which was spoiled. When we paid, they didn't even bother to remove the 50 cents, much less apologize for the inconvenience.
It was all terrible.

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful three hour lunch at Il Grottone. The fresh seafood platter and the prawn tartare were superb. We ordered two type of seafood pasta, both amazing. Followed by a seabream with grilled vegetables. We couldn't stop eating, so we also ordered a grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!

18/12/2025: Honestly, I don't feel like recommending it since I went mainly for the raw seafood and after paying 25 euros and receiving only MUSSELS and CLAMS with two oysters I was very disappointed, the first courses were good, nothing to say but for the rest I was disappointed.

14/01/2026: Terrible experience. The food was good, but the waitresses and other staff were extremely unhelpful. There was zero friendliness or customer service. They were shouting at each other. The waiter explained the dishes to us with displeasure. They tried to clear our table before we'd finished, never offered dessert, and refused to give us an itemized bill. I pointed this out to the person who took our payment, and he practically barked at me. Unpleasant people.
13/01/2026: We sat down for dinner at 8:30 pm. From the moment we sat down, the waitress was rushing us to order. We asked her a question about a dish, and she answered rudely. Before we had even finished eating, they wanted to clear our plates. When we left, we told them the service was terrible, and three or four people started yelling things at us in Italian that we didn't understand. The place was a disaster. I've been to more than 30 Italian cities, and this was the worst restaurant in Italy!
The food is acceptable, but with such bad service, it's not worth going back to this place. Many restaurants have good food and treat people like people!

29/09/2025: Four of us went, and it was our first time. Unsure of the size of the dishes, we opted for the €50 seafood option. It was a generous menu, and everything was delicious. Next time, we know we can choose a smaller portion.
21/09/2025: We visited this restaurant and, food-wise, there was nothing to complain about: well-prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and meticulous presentation. We really appreciated the quality of the cuisine.
However, we encountered a problem with the menu: the information was unclear, especially regarding prices. In particular, we ordered a tartare listed at €20, but ended up paying €35—without any explanation when ordering.
I understand that there may be variations based on weight or type, but these should be clearly indicated to avoid surprises on the bill.
The service was courteous, but the experience was degraded by this lack of clarity. A menu update and more precise communication would easily solve this problem.

07/09/2025: We had lunch and dinner throughout our week-long vacation at La Lampara restaurant and were delighted with every dish! Many traditional Apulian dishes, made with authentic, well-prepared ingredients.
All accompanied by the warm hospitality of Mimma, Leonardo, and Carmela.
We felt like we were part of the family, which added value to our vacation!
28/08/2025: Inside a campsite, the stuffed mussels and the troccoli allo scoglio are delicious in the cool air, and the allorino digestive offered at the end of the meal is appreciated.

18/01/2026: A bitter experience, salty Luciana-style octopus, spaghetti with half a Greek cicada with the same sauce as the salty octopus. The cicada was dry. 4 unpleasant half-glass dishes, two desserts. 150 discounted 120. Very disappointed.
