31/10/2025: The food was excellent, the service slow (I think overworked) while the atmosphere was very blah, we could be anywhere in any city. If the service was more attentive and possibly took away paper napkins (after all it was a Conde' Nast pick) and not staked tables literally on top of each other, I would give this a 5 star. I actually read the review response which reflects the condescending attitude towards customers. I actually went ahead and said I like the food but the service was slow and the review says I didn’t like the food and they hope to have jokes ready for me next time, I guess some places in Italy don’t understand you need to smile and be courteous and you have a customer. I’m now giving this a one star.

26/10/2025: What a find! I’ve visited Italy a couple of times and am often disappointed by the food which feels like ‘chainstore’ fare, even in Milan. San Maurì was a little more expensive and upmarket but not too much and was well worth it. Original tasty dishes, beautifully presented. Full marks to the hardworking chefs and waitstaff who were run off their feet but were nothing but courteous and helpful the whole evening.

18/10/2025: The octopus dish was very good, but the rest was nothing special. Absolutely terrible value for money.

01/11/2025: I had a terrible time, billed 100 euros each. I ended up there because a friend was playing music and we were going to sing, but as soon as we started, the waiter mocked me, inciting the guys at the next table to whistle, then he brought me a ham bone, and finally he made a guy who was out of tune sing next to me, which ruined the end of the song. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I VOMITED EVERYTHING BACK AT HOME.

04/11/2025: A well-run, well-regarded restaurant. The seafood dishes, including the mixed seafood antipasti, are highly recommended. The business lunch menu on weekdays is a great idea, especially since it allows you to enjoy a selection of the main dishes on the menu. Worth a try.

07/10/2025: The dishes are very good and sophisticated. The service is very professional (even too professional), and the prices are a bit high considering the location, which is still nice.

31/10/2025: I went here today for the first time. The atmosphere and location were very nice, the food was excellent, and they were very kind in letting us have lunch even though the kitchen was already closed. I highly recommend it.

18/10/2025: I LOVED IT!!! We went because it was close to the hotel where we were staying, but we were pleasantly surprised. As soon as we arrived, they asked us if we had a reservation, which we hadn't... But they made room for us right away to have dinner. And thank goodness, because they had the ENTIRE restaurant booked. I had the best pasta in all of Milan, definitely my favorite, and it was a great price.

17/10/2025: It was full, but they quickly found us a spot. The staff was super efficient. The pizzas and apple pie were delicious. The prices were more than reasonable.

We were particularly impressed by the service: when someone works with professionalism and puts their heart into it, it makes all the difference! The quality/price ratio is also excellent.
