18/02/2026: I tried this cafe and restaurant and I have to say I had a pretty good time. The chicken curry rice was a real treat, although I might have preferred the rice a little hotter (my personal preference). The portions were adequate and the price was reasonable, even a bit low given the location. The service was quick, but sometimes a little cold. Excellent place for a coffee and/or lunch break.

01/03/2026: I'm happy to come to Sottosopra for lunch and dinner. I appreciate the restaurant's staff, who are very attentive and quick to serve customers, without ever being intrusive. The menu caters to everyone, with its fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Appetizers and pizzas—many of them—round out the offerings, which on weekdays also include set menus for workers. Overall, a good restaurant in the Bicocca area that I recommend!

07/03/2026: We found this place on Google Maps because it was close to our hotel. We came two evenings in a row. Everything was delicious; we were so hungry I couldn't even take pictures of the other things we ate. The pizzas were huge, the price was average, and the flavors were great. Highly recommended.

16/01/2026: I was in a place I wasn't familiar with with my family and was lucky enough to meet an actor, the great Izzo. He was chatting animatedly with a tourist from the village, whom I later met: ORLANDO, a friendly and charismatic man who runs this restaurant in Milan. If the restaurant is a reflection of Orlando, it will definitely be top-notch! I can't wait to visit him and try his cuisine. Greetings to everyone and to the entire company here. LUCA

07/02/2026: This was a very disappointing experience. It has been two years since I last visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, the quality and taste of the food have dropped significantly. I purposely traveled a long distance to enjoy what used to be their best four-cheese pizza, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment and did not justify the time and effort anymore. While waiting for my food, I noticed that other tables were served a plate of buns, but I did not receive any. It made me wonder if I was treated differently because I am not a local, which was very upsetting. I previously received it. The service was also poor. While I was using the chili flakes, they were taken away without even asking me. The tiramisu doesn't taste as good as well. I think McDonald's did a better job than they do. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and I will not be returning for their food.

11/03/2026: Reviewing Ristorante Novecento in Milan isn't just about the food, but about a sensory and emotional experience. Upon entering, you're immediately enveloped in an atmosphere reminiscent of Italy in the 1980s and 1990s: a leap back in time that, let's be clear, has nothing dusty or outdated about it. On the contrary, it's an extremely positive aspect that translates into a genuineness that's now rare in Milan's more modern and "established" restaurants. The staff is the real added value: welcoming, sincere, and capable of making you feel like a guest, not just a customer. Moving on to the food, I ate truly well. The dishes are a constant surprise: despite the homey feel, the execution is delicate and precise. There's none of the heaviness sometimes associated with traditional cuisine, but rather an attention to detail and a balance of flavors that demonstrate great technical mastery. In short, Novecento is the ideal place for those seeking substance, human warmth, and refined cuisine that doesn't need special effects to impress. I'll definitely be back to experience that perfect blend of nostalgia and high-quality cuisine. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: We celebrated a family birthday. We ate a mix of raw and cooked appetizers! Everything was delicious. Excellent quality. We were pampered and served with care by the waiter and by Manu, the chef, who personally advised us on our dish selection. Everything was perfectly timed. A pleasant evening. Good food, good wine. Keep up the good work!

22/10/2025: Truly top-quality ingredients, expertly executed dishes, and a truly remarkable chef. I also wanted to mention the wine list, which ranges from north to south with top-quality wines, without neglecting small wineries that also offer excellent value. A wonderful idea from the guys, Alice and Manuel, and from Mrs. Rosy, who is always very kind. Keep up the good work! You're a small establishment in the Città Studi area, but one that provides great satisfaction, and we'll be happy to return often. P.S.: There's also a very nice outdoor terrace!

14/02/2026: We had reserved a table for 7:30 pm and traveled all the way from Switzerland to Milan. Due to traffic, we called ahead to let them know we would be late. However, we were told rather firmly that we had to be there by 8:00 pm at the latest, as the table was reserved again for 9:30 pm. We understand the restaurant's organizational needs, but we were disappointed by the way they communicated and would have appreciated more understanding.
