25/07/2026: We just left this place, and I have to say the pizza is good, but to start we had a mixed fried fish...horrible to say the least, full of oil and the breading coming off the fish. We ate it, but immediately regretted it because I felt disgusted, and even though the pizzas weren't bad, I didn't enjoy them because I always had that awful oily taste in my mouth that made my stomach churn. The waiter asked us how the fried fish was, and when we said no, that it wasn't good at all, he basically told us that the fried fish was done well and that the fish was fresh. We said that we often go around and try fried fish and that was really bad, he insisted that it was done well and that the calamari had arrived fresh that morning...yeah, let's believe it!!!! And then he started by saying that he never orders mixed fried fish when he goes to restaurants because he doesn't know what kind of oil they use...and that's exactly what!!!! He doesn't take it, but he offers it to me for 19 euros, a mixed fried food that if I go to any discount store and get Roman-style rings, they're much better!!!!! I'm sorry because the pizza is good, but the way I was treated by the waiter and the mixed fried food that will keep me company all night🤢🤢 for me it's a no!!!! The waiter could have told me they made a mistake, that something had gone wrong, I would have accepted it and not said anything, but being taken for an idiot who can't recognize that the fried food was done well, no way!!!!

17/05/2026: Good local restaurant with a daily menu (see the chalkboard inside). We shared the caponata and octopus antipasti along with the asparagus pasta, a pizza and steak with potatoes (all on the standard menu). Recommended!

03/05/2026: Small restaurant, not very visible even though it's on the street. A very unique interior with a series of objects that sometimes don't fit in with the place, but still make it unique. I've been there several times for both lunch and dinner, and the food has always been good. Arturo (the owner) makes you feel like family, always available to answer any questions and very funny. Despite COVID, they've managed to create a lovely outdoor space for a dinner with friends or as a couple. The first courses are very good, the pizza is excellent (the rectangular one is better), and the fritto misto is very good. The desserts (always homemade) are also good. Excellent value for money, but above all, I recommend it for the lovely atmosphere!

12/06/2026: Very good restaurant with a simple menu but featuring special dishes revisited in their own way. Very large and clean with helpful and welcoming staff. Clean and tidy bathroom.

28/06/2026: We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, shared the chateaubriand and a bottle of Gavi. It was tasty and it was cool inside. There was scaffolding on the outside. Given it was our anniversary, we thought the restaurant might have added a nice touch, but didn't, which was a bit disappointing.

20/06/2026: We arrived in Milan on Thursday and had one day here. We decided to find a place to eat and got recommended this place by our hotel. I was hesitant what to pick for lunch, after the waiter said the sea food spaghetti was good I decided to go with that. Big mistake. I got food poisoned and ended up having to spend the rest of the day at the hotel bathroom. My sister had the rib eye steak, was surprised that they didn’t ask how she wanted the steak and when it arrived it was well done.

31/05/2026: We chose "Il Sorriso" to celebrate our baby's baptism. We highly recommend "Il Sorriso"; it exceeded our expectations! Excellent service, excellent food quality, especially the raw seafood, which was incredibly fresh and top-notch! It's also an ideal place for celiacs like me; I was able to enjoy most of the dishes without any problems. The gluten-free panna cotta was superb, an alternative to cake for me, although gluten-free cakes are available. We've received nothing but compliments from our relatives, so if you're looking for a reliable, high-quality place, choose "Il Sorriso"! Thanks for everything, Mr. Aldo!!!!!
