07/04/2026: I visited this restaurant on Easter Sunday with fairly high expectations, given the numerous positive reviews I'd heard. Unfortunately, however, the experience didn't live up to expectations. We were offered several menus to choose from over the phone, but once we arrived, we were faced with a very limited selection, with only a couple of dishes available. This was already a negative point, especially since it didn't reflect what was communicated during the reservation process. As for the food, the pasta was good and well-prepared, no complaints there. However, the wild boar steak was a real disappointment: the meat was so tough it was practically inedible, so much so that I had to return it entirely. Overall, a rather disappointing experience, especially considering the expectations raised by the positive reviews. I hope it was just a bad day.

01/04/2026: While searching for a good restaurant, we stumbled upon Al Fattore quite by chance. What can I say? We're grateful for that stroke of luck and, contrary to our usual habits, ate there every single evening! But let me elaborate: I simply can't understand the negative reviews. We felt very comfortable from the very first minute. The head waiter (unfortunately, I didn't ask his name) speaks perfect German and caters to all requests and special wishes. He is consistently attentive, calm, and always courteous – a restaurateur through and through! Dishes not on the menu were prepared according to our requests. Everything was of excellent quality and tasted fantastic. But the service deserves special mention. Everyone was incredibly friendly! The head waiter, in particular, deserves a mention. The value for money is unbeatable. I appreciate good food, and with this quality, the prices could easily be higher. But it's no wonder that the restaurant was packed every evening, even during the off-season. If we ever vacation here again, we will certainly come back every evening to let ourselves be pampered. Thank you so much!

01/04/2026: I can't understand the average rating at all. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. We arrived just before the kitchen closed, but were still welcomed with open arms. The food was outstanding! The side dish with the grilled chicken was a bit small, but that's really nitpicking. Otherwise, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Excellent value for money! There was also a beautiful view of Lake Garda.

01/02/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm rating my experience based on my reservation on The Fork with a 50% discount on food. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The place is well-heated and the tables are spaced apart. The food is good, the presentation could be improved, but what matters is the quality and deliciousness, and there was no shortage of both. We ordered two first courses and a fried seafood platter, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water (€3), and a coffee (€3), for a total of €50. The prices would be high in my opinion without the discount, but with the discount, I'd say everything is perfect: quality, size, and deliciousness. There are about eight private parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

25/01/2026: Not a great experience. The place is very small, with tables quite close together, and it was cold; we mentioned this, and I noticed that this was a concern noted in other reviews, including the bathrooms. Furthermore, the rechargeable table lamp was out of power. Service was slow: a single waiter managed the entire room, with occasional support from another person who was mostly busy in the kitchen. We waited a long time both to order and to receive the bread, as well as between courses. The cover charge was €3 per person with paper napkins. House water was served in bottles refilled by the restaurant at €3 per bottle, which I found a bit high. Additional bread was available for €1. We didn't order wine, but the glasses were left on the table anyway. The staff was friendly, however. There was one small, unpleasant incident: there was a hair in my companion's appetizer. The dish was replaced with appropriate apologies, but by then my appetizer had already arrived, and to avoid eating separately, we had to split the courses. The food was average. I wasn't satisfied with the sbrisolona for dessert, either because of the dessert itself or the zabaglione cream that accompanied it. Overall, without the TheFork discount, I wouldn't recommend it.

11/04/2026: The place is also nice, the only flaw is that the owner, in my opinion, doesn't know how to manage it. He's really rude and incompetent during peak times with queues. Great potential, but also major flaws! A little further along, at the port, you'll find a better place.

03/04/2026: We've been here several times now because the location right on the lake, the prices, and the atmosphere are just right. There are also a few parking spaces available. In short: we'd gladly come back anytime!
