05/07/2026: We ate very well the lake fish (pike and gorgon). The "Turbante" was fantastic. The only exception was the Bicoli with lake ragù, pine nuts, and raisins, which was way too sweet (so much so that we thought the chef had confused the sugar with salt). For lunch, they offer a fixed menu with seafood for just €16.

02/07/2026: Superb food! Some of the best fish I've tasted. The anchovies to start were beautifully cooked, the seafood salad and mussels in tomato sauce do tasty. The mixed seafood grill was generously proportioned and the tuna with pistachio crust fabulous. Very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity with a good bottle of Ripasso.

07/07/2026: We visited Kapperi with our family and had a lovely table in the tastefully decorated courtyard. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the tables were generously spaced, and we were able to enjoy the evening in peace and quiet. We were particularly drawn to the restaurant because of its excellent reputation for gluten-free cuisine. And we weren't disappointed. The gluten-free pizza really set the bar very high for us. Both my wife and I agree that it was the best gluten-free pizza we've had so far at Lake Garda. The other dishes were also consistently of a very high standard. The beef tartare was outstanding, as was the swordfish. The wine selection also impressed us, and the desserts were excellent as well. The homemade tiramisu was delicious, and the ice cream was a big hit with our children. My father-in-law was especially impressed by the foie gras with caramelized onions. He travels to France regularly and said that this was among the best foie gras he has ever eaten. As we recall, the dish, at around €39, wasn't exactly cheap, but in his opinion, it was worth every penny. The service was also very friendly and always tried its best to understand and fulfill all our requests, despite the language barrier. If I had to offer a small suggestion for improvement, it would be this: Our server didn't seem very experienced. Wine glasses weren't automatically refilled, and empty bottles or used dishes sometimes remained on the table for a while, so we occasionally had to ask for things to be cleared away. A less cluttered table is especially pleasant when traveling with children. However, this is really nitpicking and should be taken as constructive feedback. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The high quality of the food, the lovely ambiance, and the very friendly service, in our opinion, justify the slightly higher price. We would gladly return and give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.

31/03/2026: The dinner atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, with a varied and thoughtful menu, meticulously presented dishes, and courteous and attentive service, never intrusive. A sommelier is available to recommend wines.

15/06/2026: We stop here every time we're in Desenzano. For us, it's one of the best restaurants! Authentic regional cuisine with excellent wines and friendly service! The ambiance in this little alley is fantastic.

09/06/2026: I discovered this place on vacation last week and haven't left! Delicious lake fish, delicious pizza, equally delicious desserts, and excellent value! Located on a side street in the center of Desenzano, it has a truly charming atmosphere! The staff are top-notch...they make you feel at home! This will be a regular stop for me, as I often visit Lake Garda!

01/06/2026: The place is poorly maintained. Too touristy. The octopus was tough and the purple mashed potatoes that accompanied it were too dry. The pumpkin pie was dry. The truffle was lacking in flavor and nonexistent. The risotto with Amarone was decent, but it tasted like it was made with red wine. Honestly, I wouldn't return. And I wouldn't recommend it.

01/02/2026: I'll start by saying that I'm rating my experience based on my reservation on The Fork with a 50% discount on food. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The place is well-heated and the tables are spaced apart. The food is good, the presentation could be improved, but what matters is the quality and deliciousness, and there was no shortage of both. We ordered two first courses and a fried seafood platter, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water (€3), and a coffee (€3), for a total of €50. The prices would be high in my opinion without the discount, but with the discount, I'd say everything is perfect: quality, size, and deliciousness. There are about eight private parking spaces in front of the restaurant.

25/01/2026: Not a great experience. The place is very small, with tables quite close together, and it was cold; we mentioned this, and I noticed that this was a concern noted in other reviews, including the bathrooms. Furthermore, the rechargeable table lamp was out of power. Service was slow: a single waiter managed the entire room, with occasional support from another person who was mostly busy in the kitchen. We waited a long time both to order and to receive the bread, as well as between courses. The cover charge was €3 per person with paper napkins. House water was served in bottles refilled by the restaurant at €3 per bottle, which I found a bit high. Additional bread was available for €1. We didn't order wine, but the glasses were left on the table anyway. The staff was friendly, however. There was one small, unpleasant incident: there was a hair in my companion's appetizer. The dish was replaced with appropriate apologies, but by then my appetizer had already arrived, and to avoid eating separately, we had to split the courses. The food was average. I wasn't satisfied with the sbrisolona for dessert, either because of the dessert itself or the zabaglione cream that accompanied it. Overall, without the TheFork discount, I wouldn't recommend it.

28/05/2026: Went twice during our stay and enjoyed it every time. The entrance is a bit deceiving as it's down the left hand side towards the back. However it is a lovely place to eat and has a nice atmosphere. The pizzas & pasta were superb and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend eating here.

08/05/2026: Very good à la carte cuisine, including pizza. The prices are very reasonable, and the setting is breathtaking thanks to its magnificent terrace. I highly recommend booking a table on the terrace, which overlooks the lake. During dinner, you can watch the sunset, but even when the sun goes down, it's still breathtaking. The service is attentive, and everyone is very friendly. In conclusion, I highly recommend stopping by; you won't be disappointed.

28/04/2026: Nice, spacious place with an outdoor area. Good pizzas with quality ingredients. The desserts are also excellent. The only reason we're missing a star is because we waited 50 minutes after ordering and noticed that a table after us, all of whom were having pizza, was served first.

07/06/2026: A very nice, unpretentious spot for an ice cream or aperitif by the lake. Beautiful views of the lake (I recommend going at sunset).

30/05/2026: I went for lunch today... very nice place as described in the other posts, the staff doesn't do table service but is very kind and efficient... the sandwich was a bit so-so... but the view made up for it all! The only downside was the music was too loud and inappropriate in style... it was hard to chat.

25/06/2026: I ate here several times because, of several restaurants, it was the best in terms of product/price ratio. The staff was also very friendly, polite, and attentive. I can highly recommend it. What you get for the price is justified. Other restaurants are more expensive. This price (which I mentioned) includes everything.

The staff helped us pick the best dishes, the pasta and the fish absolutely delicious, and we’ ve dined in Michelin star restaurants around Europe. We definitely recommend the Restaurant. My husband and I have enjoyed every moment.
