15/07/2025: Glad we booked a room with a view/balcony, because this was the absolute highlight. Loved sitting out in the evening. Location is great as right next to the boat dock. Breakfast was an extensive buffet, and lovely outdoor area. Check-in staff were a bit odd, quite Fawlty Towers. You can't control the temperature of the air conditioning - and we could only turn it off by tripping the switch on the fuse box, which was annoying. Fantastic stay overall.

17/04/2025: In my opinion the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Limone. The hotel is very beautiful with a crazy view. Despite the mix-up with the room the staff was really kind and quick to find a solution. Breakfast and restaurant were decent. Worth it!

12/04/2025: As a unimi student, I often come here because our school has an agreement with this place that allows us to use our student cards to eat. But the way students are treated is just awful👎👎👎👎One of the women working there is constantly rude to students — she throws the food onto the tray, doesn’t let us even look at the menu properly, and speaks in a really unpleasant, harsh way. It’s uncomfortable and honestly quite humiliating. They still get paid for this by the university, so why all the attitude?

30/03/2025: An excellent experience! We went to this restaurant with my wife and daughter and had a great time. The welcome was warm and the owner of the place proved to be very kind and very attentive to our needs. We ordered a slice of beef with chips, and we can say that the quality of the meat was excellent, cooked to perfection and really tasty. The fries were also tasty and well made. The service was impeccable, fast and courteous. A restaurant that we definitely recommend and will gladly return to!

13/04/2025: My booking was cancelled just a couple of days before arrival. I had paid in full. Really messed up my travel plans. And then I saw the hotel is shut down. I hope I get my money back.

12/07/2025: I didn't like the pizza: soft dough and black wood dust underneath. The wood-fired oven needs to be kept clean. Friendly service and a quiet atmosphere.

06/06/2025: You can breathe and the family atmosphere, exquisite food, both the kitchen and the pizzeria. Courteous, professional and friendly staff. Rich menu both in the land and sea section, very wide choice of pizzas. Highly recommended.

28/05/2025: Sono circa 45 anni che frequento questa pizzeria che fa la pizza più buona della terra, per i miei gusti. I piatti di pesce sono uno spettacolo . . Il pane lo fanno loro e lascia il segno. Da tempo volevo scrivere questa recensione .Mi ricordo il padre e la madre arrivati dal sud con questi deliziosi bambini che saltavano per il locale e ancora oggi quando entro vedo questa immagine familiare dolcissima ,anche se i bambini sono molto cresciuti. Grazie Taverna non cambiare .

20/05/2025: Cibo nella media. Niente di particolarmente accattivante. Prezzi decisamente alti, per una qualità mediocre, nel senso di " proprio niente di indimenticabile". Un po' lunga l'attesa. Camerieri comunque gentili. Ambiente ben arredato, originale, simpatico. Non ho mangiato la pizza, i cui prezzi erano molto alti. Sconsigliato se non piace il pesce: la proposta di terra era decisamente scarsa.

12/01/2025: I'm very sorry to give a negative review, but the dishes are no longer at the levels they once were, the menu was extremely reduced, the pizzas were not available and the portions were really small. Dishes without infamy and without praise. The desserts were not inviting: the tartlet with cream and fruit had a cream that looked like those packaged desserts and the top had pineapple and kiwi; the chocolate mousse looked like mu-mu. Little attention to the customer even though we were the only table on a Sunday evening.

17/11/2024: Deludente, sul sito nel menu c'è la pizza, al ristorante ho dovuto chiederla perché non era prevista, mi dicono solo pinsa ... una delusione

16/07/2025: This hotel is highly recommended, as the staff is extremely friendly and extremely helpful. The location is also perfect, with a magnificent view of Lake Garda and just a few steps through the popular alleys that invite you to shop! Two paths lead directly to the promenade, one of which is very direct, but with a few steps, in about 2 minutes. The other path can be reached via the shopping streets, even with a stroller, in about 5 minutes. However, keep in mind that there is no air conditioning in the room during hot weather, but there is a ceiling fan. The room furnishings are also quite practical and simple, albeit clean. For us, however, it was sufficient, as we were only there to sleep. The breakfast is ordinary but delicious. Luckily, we had a parking space right in front of the hotel, as these are generally not plentiful in Limone. And even if there is, it's relatively expensive if you need one for days. We'll book there again, but probably in spring or fall. All in all, it was a fantastic vacation that I won't forget, as the region with its towering mountains is extremely impressive.

11/07/2025: Aspettative sopra la media. Siamo andati a cena al ristorante Mare mosso e siamo rimasti molto delusi dai piatti serviti e tanto decantati dal cameriere che ce li ha proposti (consigliando guarda caso solo i più costosi) Locale fermo agli anni 80, non solo nell’arredo (che per gli amanti di quello stile ci può stare) ma anche nella tipologia di servizio poco attento e nello stile di piatti, impiantati senza cura, si sono limitati a rovesciare le pietanze dalla padella al piatto. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti, 2 primi piatti, 1 calice di vino, 2 coca cole, 1 acqua, 50€ a testa per mangiare piatti con sapore pressoché indefinito. Sembrava di mangiare piatti già pronti pieni di dado di pesce. Non ci tornerei.

10/07/2025: Tornare al Mare Mosso per noi è sempre una garanzia di freschezza e di qualità. Piatti a base di pesce sempre ricchi e pieni di gusto. Classici irrinunciabili sono la pasta al cartoccio e la padellata di branzino con patate e carciofi. Personale gentile e prezzi adeguati.

31/07/2025: Yes, I can recommend it. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the food was delicious. We were satisfied with everything from pizza and carbonara to the tiramisu for dessert.

11/08/2025: I went to this McDonald's for breakfast this morning. The order screens were off at 9:00 AM, there was chaos at the counter, table service was unavailable, and amidst the chaos, undrinkable cappuccinos arrived, cold and unsightly. I asked for another, since I barely drank that one, only tasted it, and they said NO. I tried emailing McDonald's through their website. That didn't work either.

11/08/2025: I got a takeout menu. 1) It's not the first time that with just one menu, the drink has been served without any support. How can you drive with a glass in your hand?? I wouldn't be in compliance with the Highway Code!! 2) I always ask for a support for my cup. Today they only gave me a cardboard support without a bag. What did I do?? Where do I put it?? The VERY smug answer was that they didn't have any bags left. Too bad they gave the car in front of me a bag. Was that the last one?? A euphemism, of course. While I'm here, I'll ask a question: where are the beautiful sandwiches you see in the menu photos?? The hamburgers will soon be made of tissue paper!! Shame on you!!

25/04/2025: Piacevolissima scoperta mentre passeggiavamo nei pressi di corso Buenos Aires. Abbiamo deciso di fermarci per la bellezza del locale, il menu e la tranquillità del locale. Ristorante con una grossa varietà di piatti. Quelli di pesce, a mio avviso, ottimi.

25/03/2025: En revenant d'un concert nous avions été contents de trouver ce restaurant encore ouvert à 22 30. Les critiques de tripadvisor étant bonnes nous avions donc décidé de l'essayer. Malheureusement le repas était très moyen. Bruschetta sans saveur, pareil pour la focaccia pour deux. Les linguines au homard étaient juste des pâtes à la sauce tomate avec des pieces de homard. Quand aux linguine à la bottarga, elles étaient très iodees mais sans saveur. Au moins ce n'était pas trop cher.
