25/07/2024: We often pass by Agrate for work reasons and, encouraged by the positive reviews relating to the fish-based dishes, we tried it. We confirm that the environment is certainly not the most inviting, obsolete and poorly maintained and excessively hot despite the fact that in the real room there was a mobile air conditioner. The service was slow even though there was barely one table occupied other than ours. The prices on the menu do not correspond to those published on the fork and similar sites, obviously much higher prices. We ask for focaccia instead of bread and order two first courses. The focaccia arrives in a classic pizza dish but with some slices in the middle...we asked for explanations and the waitress replied that some pieces were missing because they had been burned because she had removed them...so an incomplete focaccia for 4 euros. We are not given the drinking menu, they verbally tell us that they do not have house wine but only glasses or bottles. Spaghetti with clams absolutely tasteless and without salt. In terms of taste, not even a possible mince of garlic and parsley was perceived, much less the clams or even the oil which was certainly present but not of good quality. The other first course, also offered at 16 euros, is shrimp tagliolini in pistachio sauce. The prawns were frozen shelled prawns drowned in this sort of green sauce that tasted more like cream. I conclude with the cover charge at 2.5 euros. The 20% the fork discount was correctly applied. I wouldn't recommend it and I certainly wouldn't return.

01/08/2024: We stopped off for lunch, after a boat ride nearby, on the Lake. When we got the chance to order, our food was out fast from the kitchen and was spot on and tasty. The restaurant is directly on the Lake and it has a roof top seating area which must be lovely at night.

27/07/2024: Nice place, nice and friendly staff. However, we didn't like the pizza, it was very thin and looked like it was machine made, in fact they all arrived together and very quickly. I haven't tried the first ones but those who have tried them found them good.

10/08/2024: One of the worst experiences we had in Italy. They serve you coke room temperature. Then came the mains, both ordered pasta, both were extremely dry and plain. We didn’t eat it and complained. Then they say you are crazy and go out of our restaurant. Nice. We left with our plates untouched, paid still Two people 54 euro, go somewhere else. Your time is worth more than these people.

28/07/2024: We booked the room not knowing quite what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised! We mostly booked for the location, which is perfect. Easy access to the train station and the ferry piers. We booked a double room with a lake view and we were not disappointed. The room was bigger than we expected and very clean. The bathroom is on the small side but was very clean as well. At check in we were greeted by Suzy, she was very kind and checked us in efficiently. Suzy helped carry the luggage to the room which is up 2 flights of stairs. The rooms are located directly behind check in and where breakfast is served. We booked a room with breakfast and were very happy with our decision. Even with the central location, the room was very quiet. Many choices including fresh cooked omelettes. There are usually two ladies working breakfast and both were very kind and helpful. If we return to Como we would definitely book this hotel again.

15/08/2024: Mid-August lunch to forget I ordered the prawns in pink sauce and they were with the shell and sauce on top (never seen it) 4 in number for 12 euros, seafood penne with 3 mussels and a few small pieces of squid for 18 euros if not If I had been in company I would have left after the starter and I won't say anything else

12/08/2024: The difficulties in looking for parking in Sesto Calende are repaid by this location. Huge pizzeria, offers tables outside on the street and plenty of seats inside with air conditioning and inside in a small dehor. Several televisions on the walls. Clean bathrooms. Friendly and professional staff. Zero wait. Quality food and lots of choice. The pizza is always excellent and I plan to taste it again. Good choice and quality of first and second courses between land and sea. Despite the sunny summer, inside you feel like you're in paradise.

21/07/2024: The place is not air conditioned so the tables are set outside where it is still hot and there are many flies and mosquitoes. The tables are very close, there is little privacy. The service is very long but the wait is amply repaid by the goodness of the food. Both the pizza and seafood dishes are excellent. Little attention to detail: the plate for the shells was brought to me when I had almost finished the pasta and I didn't have the towel to clean my hands. Overall a positive experience although with some points to review

01/02/2024: Perché c'è l obbligo di mettere le stelle altrimenti non ne mettevo neanche 1, posto carino ma perché di fronte al lago, altrimenti 0, e pesce occhio alla qualità, ho trovato cozze marce con una puzza assurda, piatto rimandato indietro, dopodiché ho scelto un altro piatto quello abbastanza ok. Pensavo non me lo facesse pagare per il disagio invece ho dovuto pagare anche quello

06/01/2024: Andavo in questo locale quando ero bambina con la mia nonna e mia sorella. A distanza di circa 30 anni ci sono stata stasera per festeggiare l’anniversario con il mio compagno e che dire? Spettacolare il locale cucina ottima,divina,perfetta!!! Il titolare Rolando e la moglie Elena simpaticissimi e molto cordiali Ah dimenticavo la cuoca è proprio la moglie 😘 Sicuramente ci torneremo💕

03/08/2024: Location bella, pizza penosa. Ci si fa abbagliare dalla location ma la pizza è come quella del supermercato, a parte quella della Cameo che è decisamente più buona rispetto a questa. Mai più.

03/08/2024: Qualità del cibo scadente, pizza cotta con forno a gas, così sottile che dopo 1 minuto e mezzo sembrava un cracker e non sono riuscito più a mangiare ma è stata buona per il mio cane e l ha mangiata lui, ordinato acqua e bottiglia di Franciacorta berlucchi, le bottiglie sono arrivate insieme alle pizze, il Franciacorta a temperatura ambiente, il cameriere indiano ha visto il disservizio ed ha chiesto scusa, poi su mia richiesta mi ha fatto portare glass e ghiaccio per rinfrescare, dopo la pizza che non ho mangiato ho ordinato una grigliata di pesce, anche qui non è andata meglio della pizza perché a parte i due gamberoni il resto era pietoso con un branzino che sembrava uscito da una camera mortuaria e che ho lasciato quasi intatto perché era inguardabile e poco commestibile.... Locale con una terrazza molto bella con personale inesperto a parte il cameriere indiano che dopo le scuse è sparito dal mio tavolo, il cibo inguardabile fa di questa pizzeria un locale da evitare assolutamente.
