19/06/2025: Ci era stato consigliato… e purtroppo ci siam fidati! Innanzitutto, ambiente sporco! Pavimenti indecenti e menu unti. Solitamente fotografo tutti i piatti… erano talmente poco invitanti che non ne ho fatta nemmeno una. Frittura mista.. quindi col pesce azzurro “fresco” .. fortunatamente ci siamo accorti che un pesce puzzava di marcio! Il ristorante ci ha detto che può capitare. Arriva il secondo.. calamari alla piastra su un letto di insalata e pomodorini conditi con la cipolla cruda (che non c’entra nulla col pesce!) contorno ovviamente scelto da loro.. i calamari erano amari.. quindi non puliti bene! Ma come si fa???? Dolce.. assaggiano 2 tiramisù.. il pezzo forte della casa! Erano secchi, fatti con la panna, veramente immangiabili. Arriva il momento del conto, nessuna attenzione nonostante il “può capitare”. Queste recensioni così positive sono ingannevoli! Probabilmente trattano bene solo chi dicono loro. Di certo non ci torneremo più.
10/06/2025: Cari utenti, di passaggio a La Spezia, mi sono fermato qui e devo dire: *un’esperienza autentica e soddisfacente dal primo all’ultimo morso**.
Locale semplice ma curato, con un’atmosfera intima e un’energia familiare. Appena si entra, si viene accolti da Fiore e Luciano – proprietari attenti e calorosi – che da subito ti mettono a tuo agio con il loro sorriso e disponibilità.
Specializzato in pesce fresco, ogni piatto rispecchia tradizione e qualità.
Servizio impeccabile: lo staff è gentile e attento ai dettagli, sempre pronto a suggerire piatti e spiegare le peculiarità. Il proprietario si distingue per la sua accoglienza e la capacità di far sentire ogni ospite come a casa.
Un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo: pesce fresco, porzioni generose, ambiente conviviale e prezzi onesti creano un’esperienza che difficilmente delude

14/06/2025: Si sta proprio bene in questo ristorantino, e per varie ragioni. Soprattutto per la qualità del cibo, sempre ben presentato e curato. Pietanze della cucina ligure veramente molto buone, invitanti. La frittura di paranza è eccezionale, ma anche i muscoli ripieni…i primi deliziosi!!! E i dolci, tutti fatti in casa, profumano di limoni del posto. Con schietto garbo, il proprietario cura ogni particolare e fa sentire l’ospite a casa. Senza alcun dubbio, possiamo affermare che qui si sta veramente molto bene.

29/06/2025: Terrible service, disgusting food. Will not visit again.
We agreed to water but nothing appeared on the table. No bread either. When the food arrived we were very disappointed. The lamb was not well done and the potatoes were embarrassingly bad. Very small portion. The spaghetti with shrimp tartare tasted a little chili, otherwise nothing. The food was tasteless and expensive. Would have rather eaten at the restaurant next door. Our waitress was rude. No sense of service. You expect to be treated with consideration when you eat at such an expensive and "nice" place. When we wanted to pay it took about 30 minutes to get the bill. We tried to contact her, but the waitress didn't even look in our direction. We were close to going in and paying. The fact that we had to pay 4 euros per person in "coperto" was a robbery. The only thing that was good was the wine list. We left angry, hungry and disappointed. Don't go here.

20/06/2025: I would not recommend the Locanda del Mercato. The only redeeming part of my time there was the focaccia tipo recco and their mojito. For a place named for local market goods, they should use fresh vegetables rather than canned goods (mushrooms, artichokes, and olives). The rest of the meal, while visually appealing was lacking in flavor. To say the dessert (tiramisu) was extremely disappointing would be an understatement, as it was inedible. Ristorante Locanda del Mercado was well below the expected quality for this location and price point.

03/04/2025: Pranzo di lavoro o pranzo di lavoro vip. Non si capisce , due sale diverse stesso menu diverso il prezzo.cambia il tavolo e la sedia , ambiente più accogliente prezzo più alto. Con il servizio dei camionisti aveva spopolato, ora è rimasto il nome. C’è di meglio a miglior prezzo.

05/07/2025: My partner and I have no idea why the reviews are so negative. We were looking for somewhere for dinner, we were undecided so asked a staff member at the bar we were at. He recommended us here (thankfully). It was insane! Such a good meal, fresh and such friendly staff. Such a good meal. Please go here!
27/06/2025: Had lunch here with my family while visiting Cinque Terre. We would normally check a restaurant's Google review before eating there and only go to 4 star or above establishments, but we were hungry and thirsty and the shady patio looked inviting.
Overall, we had a good experience.
The wait staff was attentive, there were vegetarian options, and the food was good with appropriate sized portions.
Sure, it's touristy, but it's in Cinque Terre...

01/07/2025: Even though the timetable says it closes at ten and I also checked on Google, when I got there it was closed but above the door it said it was re-opened with another time written above it that it closed at ten.
I honestly feel sorry because I had already eaten here and everything was delicious.
13/06/2025: The fries were almost raw, and the portions were very small. The price per portion was extremely overpriced. Even in the Cinque Terre villages, the fish and chips were cheaper and significantly better.

02/06/2025: Fate attenzione. Io sono stata il 2 giugno a pranzo:sia io che i miei figli abbiamo passato la notte in bagno con forti crampi addominali e dissenteria.
01/06/2025: Tutto perfetto.Il cibo è perfetto e buonissimo.Il personale è gentile soprattutto il ragazzo albanese.Un ragazzo molto in gamba.Io venivo da molto lontano me ne è valsa la pena per quello che ti offrono.Ti vengono a prendere e ti portino al molo gratuitamente.

04/05/2025: En fantastisk restaurant med en flott stemning. Vi var to par som bestilte forskjellige retter. Pasta med reker som var perfekt tilberedt. Biff som smeltet i munnen, risotto med sjømat og til sitt en klassiker pasta carbonara. Selv om restauranten fylte seg opp med gjester var det en rolig betjening som passet på at vi hadde det perfekte. Dette stede blir nok besøk igjen. Selv om det ikke hadde noe utsikt, vil jeg anbefale det et besøk.
04/05/2025: God og variert meny, god mat, men fullstendig kaos i serveringen. Vi bestilte 3 retter, fikk 2. siden de skulle stenge og ryddet lokalet mens vi satt der, så ba vi om regningen. Der ville de ha 20€ for den retten vi aldri fikk. Kelneren påsto at retten var klar til oss, men vi skjønte ikke var sant og ville ikke sitte der og spise mens de ryddet for kvelden. Den siste retten ble til slutt trukket fra regninga. Siden maten var god gikk vi dit for lunch dagen etter. Da satt vi i 40 minutter og ventet på drikke, det ble nesten komisk...mens servitørene gikk fram og tilbake forbi oss hele tida uten å bry seg. Attpåtil fikk vi regning på mere drikke enn vi hadde bestilt. Den ene servitøren skyldte på sine kollegaer, men han var ikke noe bedre sjøl!

15/08/2024: The food was good, it really depends on what you take…
The big problem is that we’ve waited 1 hour to receive the plate. They warned us that we would have to wait a bit but 1 hour is too much !
Moreover the quantity is so tiny I had the impression to just have the right to taste a part of a plate. If you’re hungry this is not the place to be !
The staff was not the best staff you will ever encounter but it’s a normal staff I can’t critic the staff.

14/05/2025: Normalerweise bewerte ich nur Restaurants in denen wir gute Erfahrungen gemacht haben, um die Leistung von Küche und Service wertzuschätzen. In diesem Fall muss ich leider eine Ausnahme machen, weil es bisher die schlechteste Erfahrung gewesen ist, die wir je gemacht haben.
Monterosso ist natürlich ein Ort, in dem viele Touristen unterwegs sind und einen freien Tisch zum Essen suchen, deshalb scheint sich das Personal und ebenso die Küche nicht um einen Gast zu bemühen, auf Stammgäste ist das Konzept ja auch nicht ausgelegt und die Trinkgelder sind auch gesichert, da sie gleich mit auf der Rechnung stehen, wir aber gerne bei gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal noch zusätzlich Trinkgeld geben. Der Kellner wirkte völlig lustlos, hat uns mit einer Geste einen Tisch zugewiesen, auf unsere Begrüßung gar nicht reagiert. Auf eine freundliche Bitte, uns Salz zu bringen, wurde zwar signalisiert, dass man es uns bringt, das war es dann aber leider auch. Mein Mann ist nach 10 Minuten selbst nach drinnen ins Lokal gegangen und hat eine Kellnerin um Salz gebeten, die ihm einen Salzstreuer gegeben hat, da war das geschmacklose Tagliata Manzone leider schon kalt, schade.
23/02/2025: Tres déçu repas composée de fruits de mers congelés , accueil austère , mauvaise ambiance , tarifs pas adéquation avec la qualité ! Je ne renouvelerai pas l'expérience

22/09/2024: Purtroppo abbiamo cenato con spaghetti alle vongole e sabbia, tra l'altro pochissimi spaghetti e in compagnia di un bel ragno che mi è sceso sulla schiena, che comunque non sarebbe niente se paragonato alla maleducazione del gestore. Evitate gente, evitate!!!
07/09/2024: Pirati: tra l altro i pirati fin da bambino mi sono sempre stati simpatici ma questi meno, ho prenotato per 2 io e mia moglie, il cameriere ( anche simpatico) ordiniamo 2 pizzate viste sul menù, arrivano 2 pizze stracchino rosso quindi vedo che non sono pizzate ( sono ligure e so che le pizzate sono ben altra cosa! mi sento preso in giro volevo dirlo al simpatico cameriere ma mia moglie mi implora di non fare scenate! ok desisto, insomma 2 pizze rosse con stracchino spacciate per pizzate sic! una 66 di moretti. totale 28 euro. allora questa per me e pirateria nel senso negativo del termine, per alleggerire il portafoglio dei turisti! fare ristorazione seria e con amore e ben altra cosa!
