27/02/2026: I highly recommend it. The staff welcomed us in our language with great kindness and professionalism, which immediately created a warm atmosphere. The dishes were simply exceptional. We were both delighted by the quality of the ingredients, the perfect balance of flavors, and the meticulous presentation. Everything was executed flawlessly. The wine was excellent, the explanations clear and engaging, and to top it all off, we were offered a complimentary digestif—a particularly thoughtful touch. A five-star experience, without a single negative comment. We will gladly return.

10/01/2026: We arrived by chance, and even though the restaurant was full, they managed to seat us and let us eat. The food was friendly and very good. Finally, you could taste the fish without the garlicky smells overpowering the aroma.

05/01/2026: We went for lunch on Saturday. The food was excellent, with quality ingredients, fast service even though it was crowded, and a good wine selection (we ordered two different bottles). The atmosphere, in my opinion, was a bit noisy, but clean.

23/10/2025: Picturesque location let down by poor service. Visited for lunch and tried to explain to the elderly waiter (with the help of Google translate) that we do not speak Italian and we would do our best to communicate in Italian. From there the level of service plummeted. We ordered scampi and a pesto spaghetti dish. The later did not arrive with the former and eventually we asked about the missing meal. A few words were spoken between two waiters and 15 minutes later, the spaghetti dish eventually arrived with no apology or explanation. We had walked passed several other restaurants along the harbour front and chosen Elettra, in part, due to the linen table cloths expecting commensurate service levels. We were sadly mistaken and left with the feeling that the waiter did not want to serve tourists.

08/12/2025: Located less than a kilometer from the center of Portovenere, La Chiglia restaurant was one of the best surprises of our holiday here. The restaurant is seafront with parking, and the food, service, and friendliness are five-star. If you're in the area and want to eat expertly prepared, fresh fish and more, this is the place for you.

03/02/2026: In the heart of beautiful Corniglia, we find this small, traditional osteria. We decide to make a reservation for dinner. The place is small but very well-kept and welcoming. Everything we ordered and tasted was mouth-watering. Local products and a lot of passion. The service was excellent and courteous. Good value for money. We'll be back and highly recommend it! It's always best to book in advance.

24/09/2025: Pleasant in the evening despite the lack of view due to the fact that it was dark, the dishes are good. However, there was a long wait between courses, we left before dessert because of the wait in the cold even though we were the last table. The knives were not suitable for shellfish, you had to attack with your fingers but there were no finger bowls.

11/11/2025: I was greeted with a lot of theatrics; I should have followed my instincts and left after reading the menu... The menu and prices aren't displayed outside. I ordered a ravioli dish, seven on a plate for 16 euros, which was served very quickly but was strangely cold and bland. My daughter had the same experience, and to top it off, the pasta dish was too salty. Also, they ask if you want still or sparkling water, but in the end, they serve you tap water (judging by the smell) in a mineral water bottle! In short, money down the drain.

02/03/2026: It's a rare pleasure when you leave a restaurant at the end of your first visit and it exceeds all your expectations. I entered this beautiful restaurant without knowing what to expect and left feeling overwhelmed by the way you were made to feel like you were being welcomed into someone's home. The owner oversees the restaurant personally and on this occasion we were very lucky to have him serving us, what a pleasure. We didn't know we were being served by the owner until the dinner was nearly finished but he treated us with kindness and made excellent conversation and menu recommendations. The food was worthy of a Michelin star but with prices that were very reasonable. The wine selection, the food, and the desert were all top shelf 😋😋. After we finished we were even greated by the chef who we complimented. Special thank you to all of the great staff and the owner of L'Osteria Della Corte you have the winning formula for a very successful restaurant business. I am very glad we visited and would highly recommend 👍👍👍

29/11/2025: One very tasty place to dine in Vernazza. They serve different versions of pesto dishes that one can try. They are very good and highly recommended. Their service personnel is very fun, accommodating, and quirky too. One very minor comment is the view of the parking and the zooming vehicles beside the diners, but their food is reasonably priced, compared to the dining places by tourist center.

29/11/2025: This was a great dining experience in Vernazza. Although this popular spot is located away from the main town drag, it was absolutely worth walking uphill to reach it. We came specifically to try classic Ligurian pesto. We ordered the local classic, trofie al pesto, and pesto lasagna. Both dishes were excellent. The pesto was made fresh and it was delicious. We enjoyed the dishes so much we wished we could have ordered a second plate. Admittedly, the setting isn't the most scenic (the restaurant faces a parking lot), but the friendly, attentive service and the quality of the food more than make up for it. Highly recommended!
