08/06/2025: I'll start by saying that I often go to Rapallo and I've been to this place several times. I found the guy very rude. Having a 3 year old daughter I asked to use the bathroom for her. He told me no. I said that I thought it was Scorsese and I would share my experience with him. Ashamed of what he had done he repeatedly insulted me saying that I was damaging his work. I replied that it wasn't true I would only express the facts. No continuous insults. I tried to talk without success Based on the owner's response I point out that I have always asked for the child. The fact that he now says he would do it means that he regrets it and is a little ashamed of having been rude I didn't threaten anything except to report the incident if the incident puts you in a bad light and it's your actions' fault I was told that it was a decision of the owner who wasn't there. Now he says that he is the owner. Another element that explains a behavior that is formally legal but not socially correct. The cameras can confirm that I never went back but I turned around when I was called bad words. We can also think differently but I don't see much justification for telling me to go to hell in front of my daughter and saying that not everyone has directed their words. In my opinion it exudes a bit of inexperience. I still wish you success and hope that this incident can help you welcome people into your place. Good luck

01/06/2025: Great place for lunch in this very crowded CinqueTerre town of Vernazza. The food was delicious, fresh mussels, trofie pasta with pesto sauce and fried anchovies in tomato sauce.

31/05/2025: Gambero Rosso in Vernazza might have the location, but everything else falls apart fast. The staff barely acknowledge guests, offering no welcome and no warmth. The seafood was passable except for the shrimp. Then came the risotto. It was not just undercooked, it was an insult. Hard, white, chalky grains that crunched between your teeth. Not al dente, not close. It was raw. When we politely questioned it, we were told, without hesitation or care, “this is how it should be.” That statement alone disqualifies them from serving risotto at all. And then it got worse. Instead of starting fresh, they threw the entire dish-sauce, seafood, and all-into an oven in a sad attempt to recover it. The rice remained raw, the seafood turned rubbery, and the sauce reduced into something nearly inedible from salt and overcooking. Here is a photo of the risotto after the third attempt. Still raw. You can clearly see the white core, uncooked seed inside the grain. This was not a mistake in execution. It was a complete lack of understanding, pride, and respect for Italian cuisine. In Italy, no less. Gambero Rosso should not serve risotto until they learn how to cook rice.

05/05/2025: Antipático, cuando derramamos un poco de té, pedimos una servilleta para limpiar el desastre, el camarero nos miró y dijo: "Lo limpio", luego nos dejó sentados en la mesa con té caliente por toda la mesa. Fue muy grosero con nosotros desde el momento en que entramos y no quería comida, solo té.

02/05/2025: Per lavoro,mi sono trovato più di una volta in zona Rapallo e ogni volta ho fatto tappa per pranzare in questo ristorante.Sempre tutto ok. Ottima pizza e focaccia al formaggio. Primi e secondi piatti top. Dolce pure. Servizio ,cortesia e pulizia impeccabili. Da provare!

18/06/2025: We stayed in Vernazza for several nights and ate here three times. First meal was really memorable, next two not so much. Stunning setting, beautiful views, potentially great restaurant, super staff, especially Andrea the entertainer. Booking is a nightmare - try online and you think you’ve succeeded, but no. Email, no joy. Telephone - best, one out of three attempts. There is a continuous queue of people traipsing up and down the fairly steep steps enquiring about a table, only to be turned away. Food is generally pretty reliable, but I have to say, I had the worst mussels I have ever been served here, inedible and way past their best. Generally, a perfect spot with a formula that doesn’t have to try too hard, because there’s always another customer around the corner in this very crowded part of Italy. A pity.

16/06/2025: The food,the view and the staff are equally tremendous. So nice and joyful people. As a group of three girls we felt very welcome. Would to come here again someday :)

04/05/2025: Location stupenda a bordo mare sulla Baia del Silenzio....ed è proprio questo che ci ha fregati, infatti non abbiamo neanche controllato le recensioni prima di chiedere un tavolo. Purtroppo il pranzo non è stato all'altezza del posto, abbiamo mangiato il risotto ( ai frutti di mare) peggiore della nostra vita. Il pesce era scarsissimo e la cottura in un tegame al forno ha reso tutto insapore e non amalgamato. Praticamente un riso in bianco con qualche ciuffetto di calamaro e due cozze insapori Gli altri piatti magari erano buoni...ma sinceramente nn ci è venuta neanche voglia di provarli! Peccato

26/04/2025: Luogo meraviglioso affacciato sulla baia del silenzio, con le pied dans l'eau come si suol dire. Pranzo deludente, ahimè, nonostante la disponibilità del personale e servizio buono. Riso nel tegame quasi bruciato, attaccato al piatto di metallo, quantità di pesce irrisorio. Il tutto sproporzionato rispetto al prezzo. Spiace

14/06/2025: Voici un exemple de très mauvais avis que vous pourriez poster (sur Google, TripAdvisor ou TheFork), tout en restant crédible, clair et impactant : ⸻ ⭐ 1/5 – Une expérience désastreuse, à fuir ! Quelle déception. Nous étions venus plusieurs fois à La Réserve Bordighera ces dernières années, et c’était jusque-là un lieu charmant. Mais tout a changé, et pas dans le bon sens. Depuis le changement de direction, le service est tout simplement catastrophique. Les serveurs sont désagréables, expéditifs, voire condescendants. On a eu l’impression de déranger du début à la fin du repas. Aucun sourire, aucune attention, pas même un mot aimable. Quant à la cuisine : bâclée, fade, très loin du standing que ce lieu prétend encore offrir. On est bien loin de l’élégance et du raffinement qui faisaient la réputation de l’endroit. C’est triste à dire, mais ce restaurant est devenu une caricature de lui-même. Un bel emplacement, oui, mais ça ne suffit pas. Le respect du client n’est clairement plus une priorité ici. ❌ Nous ne reviendrons plus.

12/06/2025: Deludente esperienza Purtroppo la nostra esperienza non è stata positiva. Il pesce era estremamente salato, al punto da risultare quasi immangiabile. Inoltre, il personale sembrava poco motivato e poco attento al cliente. In particolare, il signore alla cassa è stato scortese e ci ha trattati con arroganza. Peccato, perché avevE amo grandi aspettative!

02/06/2025: I don't know what more you could wish for, with a 0 km view and very fresh fish dishes served by friendly Ligurians. In the evening the place becomes even more beautiful because the colored umbrellas that cover the tables disappear and so you only see the colored tables and the lights of the sea. The desserts are excellent, I didn't like the bitters as much, but then again perfection doesn't exist. Thanks to the smiling and patient staff!

26/05/2025: Abbiamo letto le recensioni al venerdì sera e abbiamo subito prenotato per il sabato sera , subito al telefono si vede la serie , ci avvisano che è pieno però se passiamo per le 21:30 un posto per 2 salterà fuori, così abbiamo seguito il consiglio, arrivati alle 21 :30 , ci hanno accolto con un gran sorriso e cortesia , tutti gli ingredienti sono di prima qualità, si vede e si sente , serviti nel tempo giusto , tutto cucinato a doc , hanno un ottimo menù , vasta scelta di vini e di dolci , spazi adeguati al cliente , prezzi nella norma , staff molto cordiali e simpatico , ci torneremo la prossima volta sicuramente, parcheggio in zona c’è , prenotare per tempo

10/05/2025: Excellent! We had gluten-free lunch! Gluten free, without glutine and it was delicious! Fish with a spectacular Mediterranean sauce! The guys who run the place were very friendly and spoke to us in perfect Spanish to make us feel at ease! They speak many languages ​​so go easy! A 10 in Cinque Terre! Bravo!

07/05/2025: I ordered a takeaway pizza and a Trofie al pesto one evening around 6pm when the restaurant was only half full, as in the tables inside were all empty. Waited for 20 minutes until the buzzer went off and when I got to the counter I was told someone else told my pizza and they would make my order again, which wasn’t ideal, but I could understand. Waited for another 10 minutes when my order was ready. Although the restaurant manager didn’t say a word to apologise about the mixup, he offered a bottle of white wine as gesture to apologise for the inconvenience, which was much appreciated. The pesto pizza had potatoes in it and tasted decent. However the bottom of the pizza base was 80% burnt so we couldn’t eat most of it. Definitely don’t recommend this restaurant.

03/06/2025: Good pizzas, we really liked the thin crust, a little crispy and quite digestible. The prices are reasonable but higher than elsewhere for pizzas, so we're paying for the place. The service is fairly quick.

20/05/2025: It's been years since I went back to this place for lunch, not because I didn't like it but because usually at 1:00 pm it was always packed and I didn't feel like spending my lunch break standing... well, today I was on cesarean for an errand and looking inside I found it empty... but now I understand why: I waited a long time for my poke which in the end turned out to be tasteless. To eat it I had to cover it in soy sauce, they won't see me again there are better poke.

27/04/2025: The Mister Salmon bowl is an excellent mix of ingredients, my favourite, fresh and highly digestible. Recommended for a quick lunch.

19/05/2025: Siamo ritornati a distanza di qualche anno e abbiamo ritrovato piacevolmente la stessa qualità e cortesia. Locale elegante con cucina piuttosto raffinata e ricercata, piatti non convenzionali con gusti davvero speciali. Ogni portata è una piacevole sensazione, crema di zucca con calamaro croccante davvero fantastica! Luogo assolutamente consigliato magari per festeggiare una ricorrenza e andare sul sicuro perché mangerete senza dubbio alla grande. Personale estremamente preparato, location top, del resto siete a Boccadasse, non serve dire nulla. Conto giusto per la qualità generale!

16/05/2025: Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Il pesce è di ottima qualità. Le porzioni soprattutto dei secondi un po’ troppo piccole ( il trancio di ombrina seppur squisito erano 3 bocconi). Nel complesso sia stati bene, piazzetta molto tranquilla a pochi metri dal mare, in considerazione del conto vorresti mangiare un pochino di più .
