05/04/2026: On our way home, we were craving tiramisu and found this restaurant, despite not officially offering takeout. The friendly owner simply gave us the right dishes on the honor system, and the tiramisu was absolutely delicious!
We would have loved to eat there again another day.

06/04/2026: I really enjoyed the food, which was certainly of high quality. However, I must point out a sore point regarding the price/service ratio: the €5 cover charge per person seems excessive, as it isn't accompanied by any extras (a welcome drink from the kitchen, sweets, or a selection of special breads) and doesn't even include water, which costs €3 separately. With the dishes already priced at a premium, these additional costs weigh on the overall impression of an otherwise very positive experience.

20/04/2026: I had lunch on a holiday in the low season, and reservations are recommended. It's an older restaurant, but it enjoys a great location right on the seafront. Traditional Ligurian menu. I tried and highly recommend the citrus-flavored shrimp and scampi salad, pesto-filled troffie, and fried anchovies. Quick service and friendly staff. Fair prices.

23/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were immediately struck by the "non-menu"—the sea decides based on the catch. Basically, only fresh fish. Fixed menu. Luckily, they still had room outside. It was a gorgeous day and the fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection.
Recommended, and we'll definitely return.
06/01/2026: Don't miss the Pesce Panzano tasting menu, which will make you dream. The seafood is freshly caught, and the menu varies daily depending on the catch. A unique experience overlooking the Varazze harbor.

I had lunch here with my partner over Easter. What can I say...superlative food, super-fresh fish with a wide selection, attention to detail, an endless wine selection, and a fabulous location: inside, it feels like dining on a ship, and outside, you're right on the rocks with the sound of the sea....
The prices were also absolutely fair, and the service was very quick, even though it was Easter. The icing on the cake was the kindness and professionalism of the staff; despite it being an elegant restaurant, you feel very at ease!
Absolutely recommended!!!
06/04/2026: A very picturesque location overlooking the sea, very good food, made with quality ingredients. Some dishes lack a few memorable details. Service is slow, but the staff is professional. The bill is expensive, but in line with the location and the menu.

07/04/2026: We particularly enjoyed the homemade Troffi al pesto and the mille-feuille. Absolutely delicious! A very pleasant spot in the evening when it's cool.
19/03/2026: I came here on Tuesday to eat. I usually get my regular pizza, but that day there was only MOZZARELLA, and it was raw. I got sick from too much mozzarella at home. That's never happened to me, and I always come here.
My husband had the octopus, which was delicious. I give it 5 stars only for the excellent cuisine and the kindness of the staff.

06/01/2026: I'm not used to being so generous with my reviews, but "Ortica" is the restaurant of my dreams: kind and attentive staff, a cutting-edge chef, excellent local ingredients, and a location with a fairytale view. Happy and satisfied, I'll definitely be back soon, even to celebrate my events.

07/04/2026: I loved it! I stopped by by chance and had a wonderful dinner; my daughter really enjoyed the fritto misto. All the side dishes were delicious, too!
In addition to the people in the dining room, the chef also occasionally came out to chat with us and explain (at our table) the types of fish to my daughter. At the end, he delighted us with apple fritters.
A pleasant place and good quality ingredients.
We'll be back.
