02/04/2025: As the name suggests, a delightful little place hidden in the alleys of the town. I went there on the advice of someone who is in the area and I think I will go back again if I ever happen to be in Lerici. From what I know Borghese hasn't made a comment about it, so I'll try to remedy that in this review. 🔅 Location 7/10 Cozy place, for those who like an intimate environment perhaps it is right for them because there are very few seats. Mise en place a little old fashioned but the light colors make the atmosphere pleasant. 🍝 Menu 10/10 A truly delicious fish meal! Unfortunately I only had one course, an exceptional grilled fish, but I must say that I was already satisfied with that alone. The quality of the fish was truly excellent, every bite was a hymn to goodness. Wine list as per a good quality restaurant, so it took more than half of the menu on its own: the one I chose was a "house" Vermentino and it was a pleasure with every sip. 👨‍🍳 Service 9/10 The treatment we were given was commendable. I think whoever served us was the owner, a person passionate about his work and with unique courtesy and education: he made us feel at ease from when we entered to when we left. The waiting time for the dishes is also fast. 💲I count 6/10 Let me start by saying that the area is lush and the raw materials are exceptional, and indeed the prices are quite in line with the local average, but the bill is not within everyone's reach. Of course you don't come here to save money, but you should also consider the fact that the cover charge alone costs 5 euros. For two of us with only a main course each, a side dish, half a bottle of wine and without desserts or various coffees we spent around ninety euros. To conclude, as I said at the beginning I would go back with my eyes closed and I will carry it among my memories during my stay in this pleasant seaside village. Congratulations to everyone, from the kitchen to the dining room.

20/03/2025: We had dinner last night, I would say what we ate was good, the embarrassing thing in my opinion is the insistence on ordering... they asked us a few too many times if we wanted to order starters 4/5 to share, we said no, don't ask three more times, the wine, which they serve by the glass, is not a service you do because it is part of your ways, but you do it to sell more, and it shows! In times like these if I have to drive I can't drink 2 bottles in 5 people! Understand it! I shouldn't serve prosecco every time it runs out because if I don't drink it it becomes hot and if I drink it I finished the bottle in the first 40 minutes before receiving my plate. Finally ordered 2 bottles. But this is not the way, at least not so evidently! The Very nice place, but it's not the only one in Sanremo.

17/01/2025: Meals made to perfection. All very good and with very high quality ingredients. Price 50 euros per person for 2 small appetizers to interrupt the wait (taggiasche olives and octopus and potatoes dish), 1 first course tagliolini with prawns and artichokes, 1 second course of fried calamari, 1 dessert, 1 glass of rose' and coffee always per person. The price is worth the quality offered

03/04/2025: Pretentious, of course. The price doesn't match the quality. The service is terrible. 40 minutes for a first course. They brought us bread, but not a bit of oil to dip it in while we waited. In the end, my first course was given to some prettier girls than me, who had arrived half an hour later. So while my wife ate her spaghetti, I continued drinking a white wine from a carafe, which they carried around the restaurant without a hint of embarrassment. The cheapest bottled wine was €35. A truly negative gastronomic experience, because the place is beautiful.

17/12/2024: Este lugar era una de nuestras paradas favoritas en Cinque Terre! El restaurante nos lo recomendaron desde el lugar en el que nos alojamos (a Ca the Alba). Lugar muy encantador en el corazón de Monterosso con asientos al aire libre. Queríamos probar el pesto (la región es conocida por ello) y anchoas y no nos decepcionó! El aperitivo de anchoa estaba fresco y delicioso. No me gusta cómo se preparan las anchoas en los Estados Unidos y esta fue una experiencia completamente diferente. Fue perfecto con un poco de limón. También nos encantaron nuestros platos. Mi marido consiguió la especialidad local pasta trofeo con pesto - que era nuestro favorito. Tengo el pesto de ñoquis que también era muy bueno. En general, nos encantó este lugar. Un gran lugar local para Monterosso!

17/12/2024: This place was one of our favorite dining stops in Cinque Terre! The restaurant was recommended to us from the place we were staying at (a Ca da Alba). Very charming place in the heart of Monterosso with outdoor seating. We wanted to try the pesto (the region is known for it) and anchovies and we were not disappointed! The anchovy appetizer was fresh and delicious. I do not like the way anchovies are prepared in the U.S. and this was a whole different experience. It was perfect with a little squeeze of lemon. We also loved our dishes. My husband got the local specialty trofie pasta with pesto- which was our favorite. I got the gnocchi pesto which was also very good. Overall, we really loved this place. A great local spot for Monterosso!

18/03/2025: Excellent restaurant The pasta is simply exceptional, with quality ingredients and authentic flavors, while the pizza is delicious, with a perfect dough and well topped. I recommend the pizzas of the day. All accompanied by a splendid sea view and a warm welcome from the owner, who makes you feel truly at home. Absolutely recommended and I will definitely be back!

05/04/2025: Locale carino, molto pulito, ordinato, in un ambiente informale, caratteristico. Personale accogliente e simpatico. Cibo ottimo, porzioni generose. L'attesa dei secondi piatti (preannunciata dalla gentile cameriera) è indice della qualità delle pietanze cucinate al momento. Speso il giusto. Proprio una bella cenetta. Consigliatissimo!

31/03/2025: Posizione non comodissima ma abbiamo trovato parcheggio facilmente per un pranzo di lavoro. Accoglienza e personale cordiali ed efficienti. Posti comodi, servizio veloce. E' presente un menu di lavoro classico o con menu del giorno, altrimenti alla carta. Ho trovato i piatti di pesce che mi sono stati proposti molto godibili. Il rapporto qualità prezzo mi sembra buono. Ci tornerò.

POOR portions FOR US travelers, not equally for OTHER CUSTOMERS WEARING HATS. *** frozen ingredients (almost all) not clearly indicated to the customer. ***

12/03/2025: RECOMMENDATION!! We were camping nearby and ate here twice. We were thrilled both times. Nice, authentic restaurant, very nice atmosphere. Good menu, excellent food and very plentiful. Staff very friendly. Very good value for money.

03/04/2025: Piatti di pesce ottimi in una bella piazzetta a due passi dal mare. Noi abbiamo preso gli spaghetti con i frutti di mare (super consigliati) e il fritto di calamari. Davvero un bel posticino per passare una bella serata in coppia o con amici.
