27/06/2025: A local recommended it to us, and we're glad he did. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, and especially the attentiveness of a woman who seemed to be the owner, who guided us through the experience. I hope to return soon.

21/06/2025: We came back after a lovely first experience, hoping for another great meal—but unfortunately, this time was a letdown. Things started off okay, but there was a mistake with our primi course. We politely asked for what we had originally ordered, and while it was eventually brought out, the dish wasn’t prepared well—it just didn’t taste right. To make matters worse, the service felt cold. The corrected dish was brought out with no smile or acknowledgment, and overall we felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcome guests. It’s a shame, because we had high hopes based on our first visit, but this experience really changed our impression.

03/07/2025: Fantastic food and setting!!! We chose the meat tasting menu and it was amazing. Great wines for a very cheap price as well!!

04/05/2025: Vecchia casa cantoniera rimessa a nuovo come ristorante di altissimo livello. Ce lo ha consigliato una signora che frequenta Sestri da tantissimi anni altrimenti non lo avremmo mai scovato, e che bella sorpresa! posto WOW, cibo WOW, personale WOW, tutto WOW! Torneremo di certo quest'estate!

25/07/2025: Awesome location. We dined on the beach by the sea. All the dishes were excellent except the octopus and potato appetizer, which wasn't up to par with everything else. Excellent service. All the ladies were very kind and attentive. The bill was very good!

23/07/2025: We came on a recommendation and definitely won't be back. The food was mediocre at best and overpriced. The side dish arrived 20 minutes after the main course. The seating on the gravel also took some getting used to. The carbonara was made with cream, and the salmon pasta had nothing to do with salmon and, unfortunately, we didn't like it at all. The bread seemed to be from the day before. We were really surprised, since the rest of the place was full of Italians and everyone knew each other. Perhaps it's more about seeing and being seen.

27/07/2025: I spent a few days at Hotel La Caravella in Loano and can only leave a positive review. The location is extremely convenient, just steps from the sea and the historic center, perfect for exploring on foot and enjoying the best of the Ligurian Riviera. The property is very well-maintained, clean, and welcoming. My room was bright, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I also had excellent sleep quality: a comfortable bed and a quiet location. Special praise goes to the staff, always helpful, kind, and ready to offer recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and activities in the area. You truly feel at home. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, with sweet and savory options, perfect for starting the day off right. I highly recommend La Caravella to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a well-run, family-run environment. I will definitely be back!

22/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante su consiglio dell’albergo dove eravamo alloggiati per il weekend. È stata un’esperienza molto piacevole non solo per il cibo di ottima qualità ma anche per la gentilezza e la disponibilità del titolare e del personale. Il pesce fresco e cucinato al momento anche se meritano una nota particolare i primi piatti e i dolci. La pasta è fatta a mano con ingredienti di primissima qualità e la scelta è sempre ampia. Riguardo ai dolci il tiramisù è il migliore in assoluto mai assaggiato. Completa la cena una variegata scelta di digestivi che il titolare prepara personalmente. Che dire? Torneremo prestissimo e lo consigliamo a chi desidera provare una vera cena di pesce.

03/06/2025: Locale semplice e tranquillo in posizione idolata...piatti di qualità e gustosi...lista vini ben fornita...buono il prezzo...se possiamo permetterci un appunto...era la nostra prima volta in questo ristorante ma una maggiore affabilità del personale non guasterebbe.

06/08/2025: We received a very friendly welcome, and the service was very attentive throughout. We would eat here again. I was a bit disappointed with the salad (insalata Greca), which wasn't available as a side dish. It was already very small on the large plate. The roasted vegetables were very tasty, but not warm enough. Because my salad was so small, I was allowed to eat with the other food. Whether it was pasta or pizza, everything was delicious and beautifully presented!

08/06/2025: Great experience, tasty and quality food with generous portions. Excellent value for money. We had delicious Ravioli au tuccu and spaghetti with clams, grilled fish and excellent desserts pistachio tiramisu and zabaglione cream with millefeuille. Convenient parking.

27/07/2025: We dined at this restaurant based on the positive reviews, unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Our dinner ended with a raw ham appetizer (overpriced for the portion) and first courses that seemed to have been made by a novice chef.

22/07/2025: Tuvimos una comida encantadora en Atipico. Los mariscos eran frescos y estaban muy bien presentados: el plato crudo mixto era un plato destacado, fresco y lleno de sabor. Tenía pescado horneado con papas, tomates cherry y hierbas, absolutamente delicioso, ligero y lleno de sabor. La ensalada y las verduras que la acompañaban también estaban frescas y bien condimentadas. El servicio fue un poco lento, pero la calidad de la comida lo compensó. Mi única decepción real fue el pastel de queso. Era una versión horneada — sosa, de textura cerosa, demasiado dulce y sin sabor real. Una decepción en comparación con el resto de la comida. Sospecho que el tiramisú habría sido la opción más inteligente (y auténticamente Italiana). En general, Atipico ofrece comida sabrosa, saludable y bien preparada, solo sáltese el pastel de queso y apéguese a lo que mejor saben hacer.

The dishes are prepared with love and tradition: you can taste all the authentic flavor of Italian cuisine, made with genuine ingredients and a lot of passion. The service is welcoming and familiar, and you can immediately sense the care and attention they give to their customers. It's one of those places where you don't just go to eat well, but also to feel good. I recommend everyone to come here, even just once: it will be hard not to want to return! 11/07/2025: Here's a possible review: "My experience at La Medusa was disappointing. The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive, but the quality of the food was unfortunately poor. Despite its central location, the food didn't live up to expectations. Above all, I found the restaurant to be very touristy, and the dishes offered were geared more toward satisfying foreign visitors than representing authentic Ligurian cuisine. The authentic flavors of the region are absent, and the dishes seem to have been created more to attract tourists than to offer a true gastronomic experience. Furthermore, the prices are excessively high and not justified by the quality of the food. Overall, I don't recommend going to La Medusa if you're looking for an authentic, quality culinary experience. It's better to look for more authentic, less touristy alternatives."
