27/10/2025: Ely has been our "pizza night" place for years and we really enjoy it. Occasionally we have other things and this year we had one of their pasta daily specials, a ravioli perhaps with truffle and burrata (sorry it was 1 1/2 months ago)……omg, it was so amazing. Though it is no longer on the menu, we also appreciated them making the mussels in white wine and lemon.

05/05/2026: Never again!!! Sunday night dinner. Fried calamari: the quantity was truly meager, as was the fried vegetable tempura. All desserts were sold out, only the coffee affogato was available, but if you wanted to drown it with a decaf, they were sold out too! So no coffee. But the best part was the bill: it was spoken out loud, with no way to check the amount paid, and no receipt at all.

04/05/2026: I had a good time, the food was good, the service was fast, the prices were fair. All in all, a good experience.

21/04/2026: Excellent place. Excellent quality food. The price isn't for everyone. They only serve fish, but a first and second course with a bottle of wine for two will set you back 70 euros each.

10/06/2026: La Lampara is by far the best restaurant in Riomaggiore. While Rio is outstanding for location and seafood, La Lampara is understated in charm and low key, but don't be fooled by this, they are producing fantastic food across every course and have an excellent mix of regional wines to match all courses and taste. Don't pass La Lampara by.

10/06/2026: Today we ate in Riomagiore at the restaurant "La Lampra." The atmosphere was pleasant, the service good, but the food was mediocre and excessively expensive. As an aside, they charged us 12 euros for a beer! And for service, without bread or anything special, 3.5 euros per person. We felt ripped off, and the pasta and pizza were very basic. It's a shame how they take advantage of tourists!

07/03/2026: I went there last night for the first time. The owner was very kind and welcoming. The waiters were young, elegant, polite, and professional. Excellent value for money. The squid ink pizza was delicious, and the chocolate soufflé was delicious! I highly recommend it. +5 stars.

26/12/2025: Refined, simple cuisine that highlights the flavors of the ingredients. Perfect and attentive service. Excellent value for money. The seating on the covered terrace is cool and quiet. THE RESTAURANT CLOSED IN OCTOBER 2025 BECAUSE THE OWNER INTENDS TO SELL THE PREMISES. IT IS UNKNOWN IF IT WILL REOPEN IN ANOTHER LOCATION.

02/05/2026: We arrived at the restaurant on May 1, 2026. I want to say that the service was simply disgusting. The people who served us were extremely unfriendly. We had a birthday party for 10 people, and I wanted to celebrate well and in a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, the staff did everything they could to prevent this. We waited for our order for about an hour. Moreover, before ordering, I asked the waitress to cook the pasta until fully cooked, which she approved. But when my dish was brought, I realized it was undercooked, or so I'd say, cooked al dente. I asked for it to be redone, but the waiter thought I was stupid and wouldn't understand that they'd simply reheated the dish (thanks for not ignoring me). The only thing that saved the evening was that the cake was brought out with a candle and they turned on music. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service, as our waitress, speaking in Italian even though the conversation was in French, said that we had a lack of communication. I ask management to pay close attention to this. Thank you.

10/06/2026: Nice place but the saddest dinner I've eaten in a long time, including vomiting and an allergic reaction after eating the tuna which had such a bitter arugula pesto that I couldn't even finish it.

08/06/2026: Great food in this beachfront location - unbeatable quality for the price. We tried local pasta dishes (the pansoti are delicious) and a stuffed squid special. The stuffed anchovies starter was great. Good house wine too. We received very good service. Highly recommended- best to book on a weekend

16/05/2026: Be Careful!! Watch out when paying. Ask for the receipt and triple check it. They tried to steal 170€ added on top of what we have ordered.

15/05/2026: We can't comment on the food since we didn't get a chance to try it. We were a few minutes late and our table had been reassigned. Okay, that's understandable, but a good restaurant owner wouldn't have made us wait for the next table in the rain… It's a shame, we're locals for four months of the year and won't be for many years to come… We're not sure we'll book again.
