29/09/2025: Forget the usual pizza. This is flaky and crispy like you've never had before! Absolutely worth a try. Of course, you won't be imagining Neapolitan style... nothing like it. For me, it's a must-try at least once a year when I'm on vacation in the area. The sea view is amazing.

08/09/2025: For the first time, but also the last, today we went in for lunch with colleagues, there were nine of us. The first impression of the place was not good, a typical trattoria not very well kept. The order and cleanliness are the first thing I look at, on a scale of one to ten, I give it a 2. Then, even some of the staff show up with unkempt beards, unkempt, and they often get "out of sorts." A waitress, recognizing what happened to us, started saying...today we had really crappy service. The menu at the table is written in small letters, and on the back the sheet is completely blank, perhaps write on both sides, in larger characters. The menu: You can choose the 9 euro one, or the 10 and 13 euro ones. But despite this, the lady at the cash register, with incomprehensible and confusing signs on a piece of paper, creating quite a few difficulties, thought it best to divide the food equally, despite, as above, the menus have very different prices. For example, I chose a first course, a beer, and a portion of fries. Noticing the confusion, I said, "Look, ma'am, I'm paying 9 euros," and jokingly asked, "But the fries haven't arrived, shall we make it 8?" He didn't get the joke and replied, "No, absolutely not." Other colleagues also didn't receive their food, like the one who got up when the second course didn't arrive and left. Despite this, he was counting it in the bill when other colleagues pointed out that it wasn't brought. A general state of confusion, almost panic, even the cook came out to deliver the dishes, but let's leave aside the way they dressed, which in my opinion was sloppy, and then you can see the rest if you go. For my part, and on behalf of nine other colleagues, WE will put a cross on this and they will never see us again. This is merely for informational purposes about things that may be found by those who decide to go. Perhaps the potatoes; the farmer still had to harvest them in the field. Best regards

07/09/2025: Delightful authentic restaurant tucked away from the tourist strip, about a 5 minute walk from where the ferry lands (take the path going up the hill at the fork and follow it round to the right). Bookings needed at peak times, such as weekend lunchtimes. Full of locals - always a good sign - and good value for money.

06/09/2025: A magical place! Beneath an ancient limpid grove and right in front of the Abbey of San Fruttuoso. I recommend the mandilli with pesto and the peaches with ice cream (I know it's not a specialty, but trust me and try them) 😍

02/10/2025: Very decent fish and seafood restaurant. We had two seafood pasta dishes (mixed and vongole), followed by swordfish fillet. A small downside: the clams were unfortunately sandy. The house wine is recommended, and the service is very friendly.

30/09/2025: We rented a rickshaw and had a great time.... The owners (father and son) advised us and explained everything clearly and simply.... Reasonable prices and a wide selection of bicycles for children and adults...

02/09/2025: A lovely restaurant in the center of Spotorno, with a spacious dining area and knowledgeable, friendly staff. The wine is good, and the seafood risotto is excellent, truly flavorful; I highly recommend it. The service was prompt despite the restaurant being packed, and the attentive service was remarkable: we were unsure about which wine to pair, and the waitress let us taste two different wines before choosing, a gesture that was much appreciated. The prices and portions were fair; we spent a total of €25 each. I'll be happy to try other dishes when I return to Spotorno.

17/06/2025: Great experience! Fresh fish, great advice on how to prepare fish that I didn't know. The cleaning service is also great (even for the shrimp), prices are definitely above average, like the quality of their products.

03/09/2025: Top-quality food, excellent, unique offerings. The setting of the Luzzati Gardens is beautiful. But when we got to the cashier, they wouldn't let us check separately, and we hadn't been told at the start of the service.

01/09/2025: The staff is young but very knowledgeable, especially the young woman taking orders, who has served several foreigners, speaking their language. The meat is definitely the highlight, cooked to perfection by the chef. The open kitchen is a real highlight. We'll definitely be back.

Le pizze sono ben fatte e gustose, in particolare la pizza vegetariana, davvero ottima, con verdure abbondanti, buone e ricercate, che la rendono un piatto curato e saporito. Unica pecca: servizio un po’ lento e le pizze non sono arrivate tutte insieme, il che ha un po’ penalizzato il momento della cena. 27/04/2025: Personale gentile e disponibile, posti al tavolo in diverse tipologie di ambiente, il nostro tavolo aveva vista sulla passeggiata, piacevole. Due secondi mare: frittelle di rossetti buone ma forse troppo uovo nell'impasto, rispetto alla quantità di rossetti? Impepata di cozze eccezionale, senza troppo brodaccio, giusta quantità di aglio e di pepe, cozze tutte belle, non troppo grandi, molto gustose. Due calici di Pigato, buona cantina. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

All fish-based...they delighted us at the beginning of the meal with a plate of delicious fritters...very appreciated...truly everything good and fresh...being a Ligurian/Sardinian restaurant we left our contact information to be informed about various themed dinners...highly recommended...price in line with the dishes eaten...excellent evening..thank you!!

31/08/2025: I reluctantly don't recommend this restaurant. The chef's passion and skill are evident. The dishes are all very good and made with excellent ingredients. Unfortunately, a restaurant also requires a warm welcome, and that's exactly what's missing at Bontà Nascoste. The service was incredibly slow (we waited ages for them to come take our order) and downright rude. It felt like we were a nuisance. The evening was ruined. They forgot about us for a variety of reasons, including bringing us the wine we'd ordered (a second bottle because it took them three hours to eat), so we just asked for glasses while we waited for dessert. The price for three glasses was €36. I'd say it's a bit excessive.
