12/10/2025: Great food and friendly service. I visit Sestri several times a year, but this time I spent my vacation there with my wife. I'd never eaten here before, although I'd passed by many times, and this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. We stumbled upon it by chance. It was the first restaurant near the train station open so early, and we had to wait until 2:00 PM for the keys to our apartment. I hope to visit them again. I drive past it on my way to Fivizano or Lucca at work.

05/10/2025: Personally, the restaurant is truly excellent, both for its meat and seafood menus. The pizza is tasty and well-made, and the atmosphere is quiet and quaint. The staff is helpful and very friendly, making the service excellent. I often come here to eat with friends, and it never disappoints.

30/12/2025: My family and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday during an internship break. The staff were incredibly friendly and fast, the food was excellent, and the desserts were amazing.

06/01/2026: Excellent little restaurant on the port of Savona. Very intimate and welcoming. Its chef was very hospitable and kind. We tried winter seafood dishes, all of which were perfect. The combination of fish and chestnuts, for example, was fabulous. The mussels in tomato sauce were delicious, both stuffed and plain. The first courses, both gnocchi and tagliolini, were all delicious. The fried fish was perfect, and the desserts, strictly homemade, were truly wonderful. The wine was excellent. We'll be back and we highly recommend it.

14/01/2026: A festive lunch for two, in a quiet and elegant setting on the seafront promenade. A wide selection of traditional Ligurian seafood dishes: we tried the fried stuffed sardines and sautéed mussels as an appetizer, and the tagliolini di nero with raw shrimp, burrata, and chopped pistachios—all truly delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The desserts were also delicious, especially the sbrisolona with mascarpone cream and fresh red berries. Thanks for the helpful advice to the waiter, who served us with a subtle sense of humor—very friendly.

05/01/2026: Stunning place with a breathtaking view of the sea. Excellent food, recipes that are anything but ordinary and made with excellent ingredients. Definitely one of the best places to eat in the area, highly recommended in spring/summer for the option of eating outside on the terrace. Bravo!

13/11/2025: Very Disappointing Experience PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS. I had one of the worst dining experiences at Il Grottino in Cinque Terre. The staff were extremely rude, unwelcoming, and lacked even basic hospitality. The seafood didn’t taste fresh at all — far from what you would expect in a seaside town. Overall, it was a complete disappointment. I would definitely never come back and strongly advise others to avoid this place at all times. There are so many better and friendlier options nearby. Check out the owner’s reply to get to know how rude this people is 👇🏻 and by the way all other table that were occupied at that very moment was also group of my friend, and by the way without us, the restaurant was basically empty 😆

26/11/2025: A very beautiful and evocative location. The dishes, besides being beautifully presented, are also very tasty, made with top-quality ingredients. The service is attentive and pleasant; perhaps the only flaw was the slightly long wait. We'll definitely be back!

10/01/2026: The owners and staff are truly friendly and welcoming. Excellent food (octopus, Ligurian-style amberjack, and desserts) and impeccable service. Prices are consistent with the quality. The location may be a bit compromised by the Aurelia road, but the interior is very well-maintained. It's currently at the top of the Noli restaurant rankings. Bravo, bravo!

19/01/2026: We used to go to this place when we were young and we used to come back from the seaside on our motorbikes. Now, during a football match, we had a very good lunch. The first courses were excellent and the ciabatta was delicious.

16/12/2025: The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the food was just not up to par. Terrible value, practically €70 for a tiny, unpleasant-tasting appetizer, and two meager, almost cold, first courses, and even those were below average in taste. It's a shame, wasted potential, because the location is beautiful.
