18/04/2026: We stayed in Sori for a weekend and, on the recommendation of a local, ended up having dinner at Edobar. The restaurant has the authentic atmosphere of a traditional trattoria, simple and welcoming. The food is truly excellent, and the staff is distinguished by their friendliness, helpfulness, and ever-present smiles. You can clearly sense their passion for their work, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Don't miss the tiramisu, it's exceptional.

18/04/2026: The customer service is incomprehensible, it almost seems like they don't care. We can't find any focaccia. They bake a beautiful, and I imagine delicious, cheese focaccia. We ask for slices and they say they can't cut it. We figured it was because it was hot, but all we had to do was say how long we'd have to wait, no explanation. We order some slices of tart, served on sheets of paper, the slices are all crumbled and then crumpled. There are trays, which are absolutely good, but the service also needs to be adequate.

04/03/2026: A charming seaside location, perfect especially in the summer. Friendly and professional staff. The tasting menu offers excellent value.

14/10/2025: We organized an event for 30 people. Excellent organization and maximum availability. The manager, although young, is experienced and knows his job. Excellent food. Special mention for the triple chocolate cake. The restaurant is elegant and has a stunning view. Recommended for events or simple lunches or dinners. Price is reasonable for the area.

23/03/2026: I recommend making a reservation. The view is spectacular and the atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. We ordered a small platter of delicious, high-quality cured meats and cheeses. This was followed by Argentine picanha accompanied by baked potatoes. (I recommend rare.) Finally, the green apple sorbet was fresh and easy to digest. The bill was very fair, and the staff was kind and helpful.

01/03/2026: My two friends and I happened upon this restaurant today, and from the moment we called, we had a great impression: the owner struck me with his courtesy. In person, he confirmed everything, demonstrating his ability to make customers feel truly welcome. The food was truly delicious, carefully prepared with quality ingredients, and the value for money was excellent. Special thanks to the owner's mother, whose kindness and hospitality made us feel at home, allowing us to sample her specialty. A super positive experience from every perspective. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

08/02/2026: Compared to the 5-star review from 8 years ago, which I'm not deleting and will repost below: "The food, location, service, and bill were truly excellent. Highly recommended!" I need to update my experience this way: This restaurant lists the word "pizzeria" on its website, sign, Tripadvisor, and menus, but according to the staff, they haven't made pizza for over three years. They're "tired of saying it" when people book and can't get it removed from the website. Without going into too much detail, I'll start by saying that we were 4 adults with 3 children under 4 (with the attendant needs), so I'll list a few things we found unpleasant: Waiting for them to finish clearing the tables even though we'd booked; Finding out they don't make pizza after we'd just sat down and ordered a pasta dish for one of the hungry girls; After more than an hour and a half of our arrival, we discovered that two main courses hadn't been processed and stopped our order because the children were starting to resist sitting down (despite the fact that the waiters passing by often found them in the way because we were trying to entertain them as best we could along a corridor in an area opposite the bathroom). Wine glasses brought to the table already poured by hand; Chipped beer mug; Cutlery brought directly to the table by hand; Waiter taking orders with his shirt open almost halfway down his chest. Interesting and pleasant food, but an overall unpleasant experience.

14/01/2026: A festive lunch for two, in a quiet and elegant setting on the seafront promenade. A wide selection of traditional Ligurian seafood dishes: we tried the fried stuffed sardines and sautéed mussels as an appetizer, and the tagliolini di nero with raw shrimp, burrata, and chopped pistachios—all truly delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The desserts were also delicious, especially the sbrisolona with mascarpone cream and fresh red berries. Thanks for the helpful advice to the waiter, who served us with a subtle sense of humor—very friendly.

11/04/2026: Excellent! I'm Argentinian and I had delicious beef for a great price. I was served by a lovely young lady—attentive and kind! I highly recommend this place across from the port. Beautiful location!

20/03/2026: I went there last night for dinner with my husband. We really enjoyed it! In the dining room, Romina is caring, cheerful, attentive, and friendly, but never intrusive; she creates a pleasantly welcoming and familiar atmosphere. In the kitchen, Carlo selects and emphasizes high-quality ingredients, the freshest fish (brought whole to your table before cooking it... top), homemade pasta rolled just before cooking, and local, seasonal vegetables. Having been informed a little in advance of my vegetarian choice, the chef prepared a special artichoke-based menu for me: amazing grilled artichokes and fresh tagliolini with artichokes for €10. My husband chose the tasting menu, which featured a wide variety of dishes, and was also very satisfied. The price is very fair for the quality and attention to detail in the food, the service, and the ambiance.

12/04/2026: Was amazing here, we’ve been 3 days in Portofino and went in many places here. Here was the best food and prices, I had few meals and few bottles of wine, top tier, recommended for anyone🫠

11/04/2026: I'd like to, but I can't. The quality of the fish is undeniable, but almost all the dishes were tasteless and lacking in flavor. I understand the desire to cook light and delicately, but I don't understand the goal of bringing such fresh fish to the table without wanting to enhance its characteristics. A little garlic, herbs, and temperature variations...it's a real shame, because you could do so much more with that fish...we still had a good time.

22/03/2026: Excellent location near the parking lot, the restaurant has a few indoor tables but a lovely, well-heated veranda. Fortunately, the menu doesn't include many dishes. The fish, for me, living in Novara, is an absolute discovery. No farmed sea bass or sea bream like you'd find elsewhere. All freshly caught fish with names I'm unfamiliar with, with delicate, flavorful flesh. I hope to return soon, because I ate simple, delicious dishes.

27/11/2025: I'm in love with Imperia. Like every year, almost like a ritual, I have to go to Lanterna Blu to relive the same experience that has been with me since I was a child. La Lanterna Blu isn't just a restaurant; it's the symbol of this beautiful province. It's a magical place characterized by an elegant, distinguished, clean, and comfortable setting. Max makes you feel right at home, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. But let's move on to the dishes. What can I say? They're in keeping with the location and could sum it all up in one word: "Quality." The catch of the day I ate was sublime; the ingredients were fresh and served with care and elegance, the attention to the customer and their needs was attentive, and the wine list was vast. All these qualities should be taken for granted, but unfortunately, these days they're not easy to find in the restaurant world. In short, maybe it's just me who has a soft spot for this place, but it's definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the area. See you soon, Max.

18/03/2026: I returned to try it again after a good visit, but this time I wasn't satisfied. I found the restaurant's walls stained and peeling. The dishes were downsized, and the bill was too high for what you get. The bread basket and breadsticks were excellent.

22/02/2026: This was my second experience here, and I have to say I had a great time again... the place is small and welcoming. I recommend the tasting menu for a surprise dinner... yes, to the Customer Care. Excellent products, delicate flavors. Perhaps I could make a criticism, to be picky about some things regarding the renovation of the space... the walls, the chairs, which in my opinion could be improved, but just to find a flaw, that's it... Nothing to say about the service in general. So, recommended especially for intimate dinners for the welcoming and quiet atmosphere.
