L'Apescheria In Alassio

Excellent cuisine, highly recommended!!

L’Apescheria is one of the many restaurants lining Alassio’s seafront, with clear focus on seafood. The restaurant is relatively small, and for lunch we enjoyed a table outside.The menu offers a wide variety of seafood dishes, giving plenty of choice. We ordered the sea bream, the fried seafood platter, and the spaghetti alle vongole. All three dishes were well prepared, with fresh ingredients and solid execution. While the cooking was consistently good, I felt it still lacked the extra refinement that some of the neighbouring restaurants manage to achieve. Service was friendly and relaxed, and the wine list includes a good selection of well known Ligurian producers. I still think it’s good value for money. Considering the quality of the food, the prices are fair, making it an excellent choice for a casual seafood lunch in Alassio.

First time. A small place with a good selection. The food was good. The service was prompt and prompt. A word of advice: Include small bottles of wine on the wine list, or wine by the glass. A bottle is too much for two and adds 30% to the total price. Still, a good place.

We always enjoy coming back to this restaurant! It's in a fantastic location just a short walk from the beach, with convenient parking nearby. The first thing you notice is the warm welcome. The owner is always at the entrance with a big smile, making every guest feel at home. The whole team is friendly, and the service is fast and attentive. The food is simply delicious! We especially love the tuna and salmon tartare, the excellent caviar, the spaghetti, the mixed grilled seafood, and the perfectly fried calamari. Everything we've tried has been fresh and full of flavor. This is one of those places you keep coming back to—not only because of the great food, but also because of the relaxed atmosphere and the wonderful people who work here. Highly recommended! We can't wait to come back again.
