19/03/2026: Weekday lunch with a fixed-price menu, excellent and generous dishes. Fast service and very friendly staff, especially the owner, who also recommended an afternoon in Bogliasco. Quiet atmosphere.

08/02/2026: Compared to the 5-star review from 8 years ago, which I'm not deleting and will repost below: "The food, location, service, and bill were truly excellent. Highly recommended!" I need to update my experience this way: This restaurant lists the word "pizzeria" on its website, sign, Tripadvisor, and menus, but according to the staff, they haven't made pizza for over three years. They're "tired of saying it" when people book and can't get it removed from the website. Without going into too much detail, I'll start by saying that we were 4 adults with 3 children under 4 (with the attendant needs), so I'll list a few things we found unpleasant: Waiting for them to finish clearing the tables even though we'd booked; Finding out they don't make pizza after we'd just sat down and ordered a pasta dish for one of the hungry girls; After more than an hour and a half of our arrival, we discovered that two main courses hadn't been processed and stopped our order because the children were starting to resist sitting down (despite the fact that the waiters passing by often found them in the way because we were trying to entertain them as best we could along a corridor in an area opposite the bathroom). Wine glasses brought to the table already poured by hand; Chipped beer mug; Cutlery brought directly to the table by hand; Waiter taking orders with his shirt open almost halfway down his chest. Interesting and pleasant food, but an overall unpleasant experience.

14/01/2026: A festive lunch for two, in a quiet and elegant setting on the seafront promenade. A wide selection of traditional Ligurian seafood dishes: we tried the fried stuffed sardines and sautéed mussels as an appetizer, and the tagliolini di nero with raw shrimp, burrata, and chopped pistachios—all truly delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The desserts were also delicious, especially the sbrisolona with mascarpone cream and fresh red berries. Thanks for the helpful advice to the waiter, who served us with a subtle sense of humor—very friendly.

02/12/2025: We found this restaurant near our accommodation, the only one open that weekend at the end of November. We ate there two nights in a row. The pasta was very good, well prepared. The panna cotta and tiramisu were excellent. It's a shame the antipasti served as an aperitif weren't warmed up a bit; they would have been even tastier 😉 A place to recommend.

26/11/2025: The tuna steak was bland and unremarkable, the waiter didn't have much to do and kept wandering around us. All in all, a rather below-average experience…

27/01/2026: I went to dinner with my partner at this place, which we've known about in Genoa but had never been to. The welcome was very pleasant, and the waiter's kindness and attentiveness were absolutely appreciated. You're immediately served a small plate of excellent focaccia and warm bread, accompanied by an equally excellent prosecco. We continued with two mixed seafood appetizers, both excellent and plentiful, and a fried fish dish and a cuttlefish buridda for main courses. All washed down with a pleasant cold Gewürztraminer. To finish, I decided to try the deconstructed cheesecake, and I didn't regret it. The price was right for the quality of food and service. What can I say, we'll definitely be back.

28/12/2025: Trattoria with "homemade" cuisine. Tourist alert. The food was low quality for the price. Don't be fooled by the display; the fish wasn't as fresh as they would have you believe. All served with typical warm Genoese hospitality. Update: We were sick during the night.

15/03/2026: A typical restaurant that reflects Genoese tradition. It's a 10-minute walk from the old port and convenient to the historic center. The owner welcomed us and served us well; he also speaks excellent English. The food is excellent and they have a good wine selection. Recommended. I also recommend making a reservation.

25/02/2026: We discovered it by chance and were pleasantly surprised. A typical Ligurian atmosphere. Good food. Friendly staff. Fair prices.

02/03/2026: Personally, I wasn't satisfied, as it's a place almost on the sea. I would have expected more choice in fish-based first courses. I had the Genoese ravioli with meat sauce, which I have to say were good quality but overcooked. For the second course, the grilled prawns, however, I had the impression they were frozen, they didn't have a good consistency and were all mushy. I really liked the dessert, even though it's difficult to get the torta della nonna wrong.

24/02/2026: Breathtaking view. Tasty homemade first courses, generous grilled meats. Excellent torta della nonna.

15/03/2026: Had lunch on a beautiful sunny day: plenty of outdoor tables, just steps from the sea, and the option of choosing other tables indoors. Truly excellent dishes (the tagliolini with squid ink is highly recommended). Young, fast, and courteous service: compliments to all the staff. Prices are average for the place. I absolutely recommend it, we'll be back!

08/03/2026: We ate at this restaurant during a day in Lerici, and the experience was truly wonderful. The fish was excellent, incredibly fresh, and cooked with great care: every dish was truly delicious. But what made the evening even more special was the service. Sofia in particular was incredibly kind and attentive from start to finish. She looked after us with great professionalism, always present without ever being intrusive: she stopped by several times to check if everything was okay and was available for any request. What struck us most was the welcome we received upon arrival: a spontaneous, truly heartfelt welcome that immediately makes you feel like you're in the right place. A place where the food is excellent and where customer service truly makes the difference. Congratulations!

20/09/2025: It really deserves 6 stars! The concept is absolutely extraordinary – in the best possible way! There's a surprise menu, where you choose your preference (meat or fish +/- vegetarian) in advance, and the chef then shops specifically for that. Some of the ingredients come fresh from the garden. The food was simply perfect in every aspect (freshness, taste, presentation, quantity, etc.). You can feel the hosts' joy and high standards. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The location is a bit off the beaten path and very stylish. We had the perfect menu, including dessert and digestif, and an unforgettable evening! Grazie mille e arrivederci!
