18/11/2025: Excellent for those seeking refined and sophisticated cuisine, less so for those seeking more refined flavors. I was drawn here because my partner is vegetarian, and I have to say the quality is truly excellent. The menu isn't very varied, but it's very original and interesting. The staff is fantastic, attentive, and kind. The place is modest but tastefully decorated, making it suitable for both couples and friends. The space is small, creating a more intimate atmosphere. The desserts are delicious. Personally, I prefer more trattoria-style dishes, including vegetarian ones (carbonara or other, even impact food-style). Prices are average, a little above, but within the quality range. I'd say it's very good, but not my cup of tea.

02/03/2026: We celebrated my daughter's eighteenth birthday. The venue was stunning, overlooking the lake, making it all so romantic. The staff was welcoming and extremely professional, accommodating our every request. A special mention goes to Diego, the dedicated owner, full of ideas and always ready to help. His immediate empathy made everyone feel right at home. If you're looking for an elegant and welcoming venue, Chalet del Lago won't disappoint.

26/12/2025: Went today for the first time, a pleasant surprise, good, fresh food. The lady and her daughter were very kind. We have two dogs, and due to circumstances, we had to change tables twice at our request. Thank you, we'll be back soon.

21/02/2026: Our second visit and it didn’t disappoint! The menu is wonderful, offering something perfect for any appetite. The service and ambiance are absolutely lovely too. We’ve been for a date night as well as a family dinner and it was perfect for both!

It's just that... despite it being well-deserved, I've never left a review, a review that must be five stars, and why shouldn't it? Given that the location is superbly nestled in the historic heart of Rome, maintained with love and professionalism, I fondly remember the mountains of flowers that were there during the spring and summer months. Shall we move on to the place? Beautiful, welcoming, clean, simply set, yet elegantly furnished, and why not talk about the staff? They too, without exception, were welcoming, clean, courteous, attentive, and everything beautiful you can think of. All that remains is the food. Do I even need to tell you how it tastes? I don't think so... I simply invite you to try it. I forgot, congratulations on the recently added covered outdoor area. Thank you.

10/01/2026: It was recommended to us, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to expectations. The place is very nice and welcoming, and the service was efficient. The only downside was the two meat dishes: the pork shoulder arrived cold, while the entrecote was a bit tough. What a shame!

17/11/2025: A lovely little restaurant while visiting Rome. As French tourists, we weren't disappointed by the dishes we ate. We ordered classic dishes, but they were delicious and generous. The setting is pleasant, in a small but well-arranged room. We were able to chat easily. The staff were attentive and patient with our non-existent Italian 😌. There wasn't much of a wait; we probably arrived at the right time (1:30 pm on a Friday in November), but the restaurant filled up quickly. Thanks to Pupina!

15/02/2026: A wonderful experience. A chef-led tasting of dishes that combine seafood and mountain cuisine. All accompanied by an excellent explanation of each dish, which clearly shows the chef's passion for cooking.

15/02/2026: Today we went as a couple to this little restaurant in the heart of Montefiascone. It's very easy to get to, with convenient parking on the public road. Excellent food and a glass of excellent wine. The quality/price ratio is very good. We highly recommend it.

13/02/2026: We eat as much as we could fit in for a little over 100€. Fried mixed fish, calamar, prawns, and fried potatoes. Salad, desert and coffee also. Family of 4. Nice views too. Attentive and professional waiters.Three years ago, the atmosphere was much more pleasant thanks to the inner garden in white tones with greenery, where it was truly enjoyable to spend time. Now, the restaurant has introduced changes that unfortunately reduced the comfort, design, and beauty. However, the food and service remain at a good level. I still recommend this place.
