13/05/2026: I went to eat on Saturday 9/05/2026 and my uncle didn't ask the waiter when booking the table to be careful about contamination with kitchen utensils when cooking paella since he is celiac and so from the evening for 4 days I was sick.
11/05/2026: Restaurant with a variety of menus (buckwheat penne with pesto, zucchini, tofu cutlet, etc.), various pizzas with various flours (whole wheat, buckwheat, etc.), sourdough starters, salads, traditional dishes, fish dishes (such as spaghetti with clams, see photo), seafood salad, calamari and shrimp skewers, buckwheat pizza with onions (see photo),
various desserts (chocolate and pistachio cake, lemon delight, etc.).
Good food, fast service.

28/05/2026: We stumbled upon this place while searching for an open restaurant. They turned on the lights, and after perusing the menu, we ordered pizza and pasta, as well as a mixed plate of fried seafood. After a rather long wait, the fresh, expertly prepared dishes arrived. Absolutely delicious, authentic, and highly recommended!

13/04/2026: This historic Modena restaurant, known as Grotta Azzurra at the turn of the century, also served as a pizzeria, was already making waves for its quality seafood. Returning after more than twenty years, I found a more modern venue. The pizza is no longer there, but the seafood is still excellent. Simple, flavorful recipes, excellent ingredients, and a very interesting wine list. So, what can I say? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Overall, decent pizza.
Good desserts.

The staff is friendly and fast.
The atmosphere is very noisy and often crowded.
The restaurant is located directly on the street, but has ample parking and an indoor seating area.

18/05/2026: Very good pizza, nice and large. Parking right in front of the restaurant. Service is very quick and attentive. It was still full at 9 pm.
20/04/2026: We found it by chance and loved the food and Ambiance. We tried Octopus salad , risotto and of course pizza and all were authentic and delicious. The service was great. Highly recommended.

21/05/2026: L'ennesima volta che vado a ritirare la pizza senza glutine e sbagliano gli ingredienti o se li dimenticano.
Stasera wustel e patatine.......tirano fuori la pizza dal forno 30 minuti prima con solo wustel.....dicono non è la mia pizza.
Rivedo la stessa pizza rimessa nel forno con le patatine prelevate da sotto al banco(penso surgelate) e rimessa in forno.
Conclusione pizza da buttare!!!!!
Gli impasti risultano salati e pesanti.
Per quelle che costano mi aspetto di meglio.

06/06/2026: We come here for fish; the owners are from Campania and know how to cook it very well. The only downside? The last time we went, we expected the windows to be closed and the air conditioning to be on, given the heat. Instead, the air conditioning was on full blast, the windows wide open, but not a breath of fresh air could get in. When we got up, our butts were pretty sweaty, and the faux leather chairs didn't help.
02/06/2026: Expensive and bitter family lunch.
Let's start with the assumption that the seafood spaghetti they offer, 2 madonne, madonne di sotto, and pentolaccia are made with the same mix of defrosted fish. Terrible. The fried fish is rubbery.
In other words, stinking, defrosted fish. The gramigna with sausage tasted only of cream. They don't even know how to make that.
The atmosphere is extremely noisy.
Slow service.
We paid an exorbitant price for the filth they served us.
Terrible.

11/07/2026: At midday, lunch at the affiliated companies is normal, nothing special... in the evening, it's worth trying, I've heard very positive things about dinner.

25/07/2026: I'm updating the review as requested by the page manager. Ordered (takeout): 1 marinara, 1 spicy salami, 1 prosciutto + parmesan. TOTAL €33, you decide.
If, as the manager claims, this was due to an error and the total would have been €25.50, I wonder why the error is always an excess... Anyway, we're fine, so I don't need a refund. Thanks anyway.

We booked this restaurant for Valentine's Day, and the wait was truly insane!
The place wasn't very crowded, and all the tables in the dining room seemed booked, given the centerpieces with names on them. Yet we waited over an hour for the first course, and another 40 minutes for the second course... and it wasn't just our table!
The entire dining room couldn't wait to leave.
Timing aside, I was cold the entire evening (we were seated on the veranda). We ate decently, and spent far too much for the dishes we ordered and the experience we had.
