15/11/2025: A true experience! I'm happy to begin with a BRAVO EVERYONE! Sometimes we focus on one or a few other aspects, but here COURTESY, ATTENTION, QUALITY, QUANTITY. FLAVOR and IMAGINATION are all house ingredients. Each dish is unique and anything but predictable; the pairings are meticulously crafted and absolutely spot-on. The quality is exceptional and fully deserves the prices. After a welcome entrée of 24-month-old Parmigiano and balsamic vinegar, we began with a selection of raw fish, followed by shrimp parmigiana (a pumpkin version instead of eggplant, "out of season") with burrata and cherry tomatoes, then swordfish roast beef with porchetta herbs and giardiniera with teriyaki mayonnaise; continuing with cod with white truffle and chickpea puree (sublime!!!) and a slice of amberjack tataki with caramelized endive and ponzu cetarese. To finish, an excellent apple crumble with cinnamon sauce; all accompanied by excellent breadsticks and bread (made in-house) and washed down with a delightful Quinto Passo; the final touch: coffee and a good Giulia Berta aged grappa. Each dish, beautifully presented, was perfectly balanced, yet characterized by distinctive and bold ingredients that make them unique and anything but predictable. We had a wonderful time! Moreover, both the waitress and the chef, from the open kitchen overlooking our table, were attentive and explained everything to us. A true experience we will definitely repeat!

07/11/2025: Every time I'm in Modena, eating at Iodio Puro is a must. It's undoubtedly one of my favorite contemporary restaurants. The dishes all tell a story, especially the history and careful study of the very young chef Giulio, a delightful person with whom it's always a pleasure to talk every time I return! The menu is always different, but the Iodio Puro spaghetti remain my number one favorite, with a flavor and balance I've never found in other contemporary restaurants! The raw fish in all its forms is beautifully prepared and presented! Eating at Iodio Puro is like going to a spa!

05/04/2026: I can only speak well of the staff, they are super fast and very helpful and polite, the fish is excellent and very fresh, and the desserts, I tried the traditional Neapolitan ones, were excellent.

04/04/2026: This is my first time here, and the food is excellent. Appetizers, main courses, and finally their popcorn ice cream. Everything was delicious. Nice place with a large, spotless bathroom.

11/04/2026: Returned after a few years and I confirm the first review, excellent seafood restaurant. Applause to the young man who served us at the table, competent, knowledgeable and very kind, we encountered a small problem that he handled promptly. We will return as soon as possible to try other fantastic dishes. Highly recommended for the quality/price ratio.

I went with the specific intention of rediscovering the atmosphere of Palermo, and I must say, with complete sincerity, that the experience exceeded all expectations. ​The Atmosphere and the Chef ​The restaurant's true asset is undoubtedly the Chef. It's rare to encounter someone like him: a true "golden man," with rare honesty and availability. His welcome was calm, accommodating, and never intrusive, making me feel immediately at home. He's an exceptional person who puts his heart into what he does, and this humanity is reflected in every detail of the service. ​A Dive into Sferracavallo ​For those, like me, seeking a connection with the Sicilian coast, the call to the restaurants of Sferracavallo was immediate and moving. Sitting at my table, I felt transported directly to the Palermo waterfront. Every course was a thrill: crisp flavors, top-quality ingredients, and a culinary expertise steeped in tradition and the sea. ​The Dishes: Every bite gave me a different thrill. It's not just food, it's a taste memory brought to life. ​The Service: Friendly, attentive, and impeccable, with a pace that allows you to enjoy the evening in complete relaxation. ​Conclusion ​In a world of often carbon-copy restaurants, finding such authentic and humane management is a rare gem. Thank you to the Chef for his hospitality and for taking me on a journey while still sitting at the table. ​We'll definitely see you very soon!

30/11/2025: First-rate dishes and excellent quality products. The chef is truly skilled at combining flavors and textures. A good selection of wines complements all dishes. The atmosphere is warm and refined, and we really appreciated the varied plating and aesthetic decorations of the dishes. Definitely worth repeating.

08/02/2026: At the end of a morning of 'unpleasant' work, we refreshed and comforted ourselves in this place we discovered by chance! And I must say, both my colleague and I were impressed! Huge space, renowned especially for its fish menu, but also offers traditional dishes and pizza! Well done! I recommend it!

28/01/2026: Lunch break, fillet overcooked without asking for it to be cooked and quite stringy, bread not brought to the table, and a distracted waiter who forgot some requests. Mediocre bresaola appetizer. High prices, especially for the quality of the ingredients. Maybe things will be different in the evening...

25/04/2026: The staff is not very friendly. I recommend paying with a debit card or credit card to avoid unnecessary charges.

24/04/2026: The rooms are modern and reasonably furnished. Breakfast is served under the watchful eye of the owners, who intervene with the staff if they are generous with the portions.

11/01/2026: A small but incredibly welcoming and refined restaurant. The staff was truly competent, attentive, and kind! They took care of every single detail and made us feel at ease. We opted for a mix of appetizers, first courses, and second courses to sample the various specialties on the menu. Each dish was beautifully served, carefully crafted, and delicious. I was personally impressed by the deliciousness of the seafood risotto! Compliments to all the staff!! Highly recommended!!! 😍😍😍

13/04/2026: This historic Modena restaurant, known as Grotta Azzurra at the turn of the century, also served as a pizzeria, was already making waves for its quality seafood. Returning after more than twenty years, I found a more modern venue. The pizza is no longer there, but the seafood is still excellent. Simple, flavorful recipes, excellent ingredients, and a very interesting wine list. So, what can I say? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

16/04/2026: This is a nice and good restaurant specializing in fish, but don't expect them to offer only fish; most fish items are slightly overpriced. So, as I've seen, most people are eating pizza. The atmosphere is good; I waited around 10-15 minutes to be seated. The taste is good, and the serving is also good. I've eaten swordfish, but the quantity is slightly higher compared to the price. The overall experience is good. This restaurant is nice and good quality, specializing in fish dishes, but don't expect it to offer only fish; the prices are mostly a bit high. I noticed that many customers order pizza. The atmosphere is pleasant, and I waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated. The food is good, and the service is efficient. I ate swordfish, and the portion was decidedly generous for the price. Overall, the experience was positive.

20/04/2026: We found it by chance and loved the food and Ambiance. We tried Octopus salad , risotto and of course pizza and all were authentic and delicious. The service was great. Highly recommended.

30/03/2026: Small but tastefully renovated. Friendly staff. Prices are a bit high. I had the pizza. Mine was a little "wet," but the ingredients were still tasty. The dough also seemed light enough. Definitely worth trying again.
