08/06/2026: Many people had recommended this restaurant to me, describing it as a quality establishment, but my experience was far from positive. I immediately had the impression that the fish served wasn't fresh, but rather defrosted. Furthermore, we had to wait about an hour for our dishes. Overall, an experience that didn't live up to the expectations raised by the numerous positive reviews.
22/05/2026: Compared to previous times, I noticed a drop in quality, perhaps because it's close to the long weekend holidays. I'll definitely try again other times because I've always had a good experience. We'll see...

21/07/2026: Il Patriarca has a long-standing presence in the Modena restaurant scene, with a cuisine that ensures excellent seafood dishes and traditional local cuisine. The pizzeria is also of a decent standard. The staff "knows their trade": the service and table settings complete the excellent impression of an establishment capable of satisfying individuals, couples, families, and even large groups.

25/04/2026: It's a restaurant I've been frequenting for years, three or four times a year, and it's always a sure thing. Fresh fish, excellent raw fish, carefully prepared first courses, and often delicious off-menu options. The desserts are also top-notch. The place is tidy, although perhaps a bit dated. Attentive service.
11/04/2026: Returned after a few years and I confirm the first review, excellent seafood restaurant. Applause to the young man who served us at the table, competent, knowledgeable and very kind, we encountered a small problem that he handled promptly. We will return as soon as possible to try other fantastic dishes. Highly recommended for the quality/price ratio.

02/06/2026: A restaurant recommended to me, and one I absolutely recommend. The seafood is truly excellent, and I'm talking about every dish on the menu we chose. The fish soup, somewhere between Palermo and Marseille, and the Sicilian cannoli are amazing. A carefully curated wine list. A cozy and welcoming atmosphere. 5 stars aren't enough!
14/05/2026: I appreciate the limited menus, but not all the dishes were excellent. To confirm this, I'd like to add that my impression was shared by everyone at dinner with me. Everything was delicious, both for me and for the others, and the only dishes that didn't impress anyone were the spaghetti with cuttlefish and the tuna.
All this to say: everything is good, but there are some things that could be improved. I gave it four stars instead of three because of my faith in the chef.

The smart lunch, where you can choose two courses, either seafood or meat, is a very popular choice.
I usually go there for smart lunches, either with my husband or with friends.

30/05/2026: Very good location, there is parking and a spacious room with everything you need.
The only minus is the breakfast. I was specifically looking for a hotel with a savory breakfast, not pastries and coffee. In the end, the saleswoman said to choose one pastry and a drink. When I asked if I could take vegetables or fish, she said that this is the gastronomy department and I can't choose from there. I was disappointed with the breakfast, because I was counting on more nutritious dishes than a croissant with cappuccino.

The prices are reasonable for what they offer and the quality of the product.

20/06/2026: I went one evening for pizza, it was good. I had a sausage and buffalo mozzarella, which was very good. They also have gluten-free pizza, which is a plus for those who can't eat it. The service was very fast. There's a pool in the back, so when it's time for dinner, you can go and eat. The location was great. The only downside was no air conditioning, and I'm someone who suffers from the heat. Please install air conditioning. Excellent place.

For lunch and dinner... I've tried meat, fish, and pizza... but unfortunately I can't give it more than 2 stars... I've never been very satisfied with the food, and the prices are similar to many other places...
The service is slow, every time regardless of whether there are people or not, they are very slow... every time it takes over an hour for the orders to arrive.
