02/09/2024: In my opinion and that of my partner who has been coming to Porto Garibaldi since she was little, this is among the best fry shops we have ever tried. They are very kind and the food is really excellent even for a person like me who is very "difficult" with tastes. In addition to the quality of the fish, you can also feel that of the oil. All digestible. The only shortcoming in my opinion is the absence of separate waste collection except for glass, but I think this derives from incorrect pseudo policies in the area.

We order an eel risotto for two people and two grilled eels, which the waitress told us are small, but enough to feed two people. Nothing to complain about the quality of the food, except that we were brought a single medium-sized eel (in my opinion no more than 500g) on ​​the grill, reported to be comparable to the two small ones. At the time of the bill, the bitter surprise: the eel weighed 1.1kg. I asked the owner for explanations, pointing out that in my opinion the weight was incorrect, that they had told me about two small eels and that I would have been pleased to see the weighing; Both of my requests receive vague excuses. To avoid ruining the evening I don't argue and I pay. They will definitely never see me again. In essence, the quality is good, the environment is familiar but eyes are always open to avoid surprises.
