19/09/2025: wonderful service, wonderful food and wonderful atmosphere, after 2 weeks in pizzo, i think this is probably the best restaurant here. ate here on the last evening of our vacation and the only negative thing i can think of is not coming to this restaurant earlier. the truffle pasta was so good i almost cried (no, really). thank you so much and until the next time.

19/09/2025: This was the best food experience I had during my two-week vacation in Pizzo! The food, the service & the atmosphere were more than perfect. I really enjoyed everything about this place. I can‘t wait to come back!!

30/09/2025: I'm sharing my very positive experience! We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value. It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.

04/10/2025: We had already eaten at this restaurant three years ago and loved it. We went back today and it's still the same. Top notch from start to finish! Beautiful ambiance both inside and out, very friendly staff, and the dishes coming out of the kitchen are perfect! And the prices for this delicious food are very fair! Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in a wonderful, peaceful location, just a short distance from Tropea. The staff were very professional, extremely kind, and helpful. The food was excellent, plentiful, and above all, of high quality. They also offer gluten-free options for celiacs. An experience we'll definitely repeat. We also recommend it to families with children because it has an outdoor play area and a swimming pool.

03/10/2025: I planned an afternoon in Pizzo (a very pretty town) and after careful research on restaurants, I decided to book at "La Ruota." It was a perfect choice. The location gets top marks—very beautiful, unique, and welcoming. The food was delicious. We ordered the "La Ruota" appetizer, tagliatelle with pistachio pesto and shrimp, and fried calamari. Fresh ingredients and generous portions. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

13/10/2025: Combining the historic character of a restaurant with the innovation of new management. A very welcoming and tastefully decorated location, with background music that complements the restaurant, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Giuseppe is very attentive and knowledgeable, even suggesting wines to match your meal. Truly delicious dishes, well-composed, and made with quality ingredients. A tip for anyone going to lunch or dinner at La Pergola: you can't leave without dessert. The deconstructed cannoli is sublime.

07/10/2025: We went because of the good reviews and the large number of guests. Unfortunately: - the staff wasn't interested in welcoming customers, and we had trouble getting menus. - we couldn't place an order despite the long wait and the staff's attempts to accost us. - the tables were very dirty, and the large number of pigeons around made it uninviting. Ultimately, we gave up on this restaurant and went to another one to eat in peace and quiet—and, of course, to place our order. Looking through the menu, I noticed that the selection of dishes was very limited and they were expensive.

07/10/2025: A restaurant for German tourists, you won't find any Italians here and no wonder despite Coperto, the tables are dirty, they don't change the tablecloths, it's not worth waiting for uninterested staff, I recommend other places in the area

30/08/2025: Lido la costa degli dei is a beach where people go to have fun with their children and relax enjoying their holidays. Go there but I recommend you bring sea shoes with you, the sea is beautiful.

06/09/2025: Overall very good. But in the first meal we had a bug.. it was immediatelly removed and offered different solutions - we wanted other meal. Then it was fine. Great spot for lunch when resting on nearby beach.

22/10/2025: I liked it so much that I went there two nights in a row. I tried both the meat and fish menus and everything was excellent. Perfect even for us celiacs. The prices were all average too. If I'm in the area again, I'll go there again.

17/10/2025: Good morning! I wanted to have dinner yesterday (Thursday 16.10.25), unfortunately the restaurant was closed even though the closing day is Monday (google). Too bad, either Google is wrong or the owners are wrong.
