04/06/2025: Me encanta este lugar! Vi un tiktok y mi novio y yo fuimos. Tan asequible y delicioso defo va a volver antes de que nos vayamos. ¡Tengo 2 pizzas y un spritz Hugo!

27/05/2025: The food was okay, but the service was a bit overwhelmed at times. For example: We ordered an orata (sea bream), but "unfortunately, it's out, have a spigola, it's similar." Okay, we ordered a spigola, but a slice of pesce spada (grilled swordfish) arrived that we hadn't ordered. On our table were the white wine we ordered in the cooler and two filled glasses. A waiter appeared with a bottle of red wine and two glasses, expressed surprise that we supposedly hadn't ordered it, and left again (the wine was eagerly awaited at the neighboring table, 50 cm away). A similar thing happened again with spaghetti vongole, which was brought to us but meant for someone else ;-)))). Maybe next time we'll just eat and drink whatever they bring us 🙃 Always well-stocked, that might explain it.

30/05/2025: Everything was fantastic! Absolutely among the best restaurants in Calabria. Chef Bruno was excellent and the service was perfect, very kind and super informed. We had two fish appetizers (shrimp cocktail and trio of raw fish), two first courses (spaghetti with anchovies & paccheri di mare) and a second course of seared tuna to share. Everything was delicious and of local origin! The local culinary excellence is prepared and served with Michelin-star professionalism and quality! Thank you so much for the welcome and the experience, we can't wait to come back!

20/05/2025: I ordered the catch of the day, and it was just as good as I hoped—fresh and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. The only thing missing was some background music to set the mood. Otherwise, everything was spot on!

20/05/2025: We were disappointed after reading the positive reviews. The greeting was not friendly, we were sat on a small table in the corner both looking at a wall. The rest of the restaurant was virtually empty but set out with larger tables. Service was unprofessional and surly. There was no explanation of the menu, and we were asked did we want the pizzeria or restaurant menu - why did we have to choose one or the other? The decor is very hard and brightly lit. The sound is echoing and we heard every word of a conversation at the other side of the room. The staff are unfriendly and don’t smile. My crab pasta was full of whole small crabs, which were inedible. My partner enjoyed his mussels and clams. Overall there was little atmosphere, the staff in the kitchen paid no notice to the customers, they were watching a screen on the pass, and let two young inexperienced individuals struggle. The food was not enjoyable. I told the waiter I wasn’t enjoying it but he just shrugged and walked away. The owners need to consider the customer experience from greeting, ambience, service and food. Edit: The rant below from the owner demonstrates how willing he is to take on feedback. Restaurants are facing tough times and need to take on feedback from customers, not berate them publicly for taking the time to make useful comments. Never mind, there are plenty of lovely restaurants in Tropea.

Prodotti freschissimi e di qualità, ricette della tradizione(spaghetti con le alici come una volta) e con ispirazioni più moderne(seppie su crema di piselli e tonno con cipolla divini). Il ristorante è incantevole dentro (ricavato da un antico deposito con una cupola di mattoni particolarissima) e fuori(sul mare), servizio con i giusti tempi, personale attento e gentile, proprietario sorridente e disponibile. Ottima cantina. DA PROVARE E DA TORNARCI!!! Valentina

12/05/2025: I absolutely recommend a visit to this restaurant in Marina di Pizzo. This is the second time I've eaten here. On the first one I was inside and on this last occasion I was outside. There were two of us and we ate spaghetti with anchovies, grilled calamari on pea cream and Mediterranean swordfish. Very good dishes. I found a high level of preparation and excellent raw materials. The portions were correct, almost abundant. The accompanying bread was also very good. The service, then, was quick and accurate, never intrusive. Fair prices and adequate for the quality of the menu. A note of merit also goes to the background music, always at a level that does not disturb the conversation. Parking, in the April/May period, not difficult.

16/04/2025: Sono rimasta davvero soddisfatta di questa esperienza! Il cibo era delizioso, con ingredienti freschi e sapori autentici. Il personale è stato gentile e molto professionale. L’atmosfera accogliente ha reso la cena ancora più piacevole. Tornerò sicuramente!

02/06/2025: We were here for dinner today and were very pleasantly surprised. We had mussels for starters, followed by tuna steak and salami pizza. All the dishes were very good and the head waiter, Raffaele, was a really friendly guy. We will definitely come back here in the future. Thanks for the lovely evening. 13/05/2025: Luxury restaurant with service adequate to the prices shown on the menu. Cuisine to be reviewed, the three tomato packages with grouper slices that I tasted did not convince me, the tomato flavor covered everything else, the octopus salad with wild asparagus... a bit tasteless

Dall’accoglienza calorosa del personale al servizio impeccabile, tutto contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassata. Il menù è ben studiato, con piatti che uniscono tradizione e creatività. Ogni portata è un piccolo capolavoro: ingredienti freschissimi, sapori equilibrati e presentazioni eleganti che rendono ogni assaggio un momento speciale. Il mio piatto preferito? Difficile scegliere: tutto era semplicemente delizioso. Ottima anche la carta dei vini, con proposte interessanti e ben abbinate ai piatti. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che giusto, considerando l’alto livello dell’esperienza. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca non solo un buon pasto, ma un’esperienza autentica, fatta di gusto, attenzione e cura. Ci tornerò sicuramente!
