15/02/2026: It's the restaurant owned by the owners of our accommodation in Maestri.
We only had two appetizers because we have to travel back up north.
But the quality of both dishes was exceptional.
Not to mention the menu, which is simply heavenly, and which we hope to have other opportunities to try.

It's considered excellent, with fair prices for the quality of the food offered.

Just saying “buono” is an understatement. Here everything is delicious.
Moreover the service is passionate, kind and always with the right timing, I mean that they take time to explain you the gastronomic secrets of Basilicata without being too much pushy.
Really no words to explain how much everything was perfect.
I’ll be back here every time I can during my trip.
Super advised if you are passing by from this area.

20/08/2025: I've been to this restaurant and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. The welcome was warm and professional, the atmosphere elegant and comfortable, perfect for a dinner as a couple or with friends. The dishes were prepared with great attention to the quality of the ingredients and presentation: each course was tasty, balanced, and beautifully served.
The friendly and helpful staff made everything even more enjoyable, attentive without ever being intrusive. Excellent value for money.
A place definitely worth trying, and one I'll gladly return to!

07/01/2026: Highly recommended, lunch on January 5th was excellent. I highly recommend it. They didn't give us a menu with prices, but we had no unpleasant surprises; the quality of the food and service was excellent for the price. Thanks to the owner for the orecchiette pasta made for our baby, they were truly delicious. The ravioli with creamed peppers were delicious, and the cod was delicious, with a very balanced flavor and fennel sauce. Go there, it's top-notch cuisine!
28/12/2025: I'd love to tell you how the food is, but we couldn't even get in...even though the place was completely empty, the owner was getting ready to smoke a cigarette, and the waiters were all folded...it was completely booked!
You wouldn't think they have a welcoming attitude!

29/03/2026: Truly beautiful place (exposed brick vaults), very well decorated! Special dishes served in delicious little pans! All the little samples! Chicken livers, tripe and potatoes, seafood salad, pickled pumpkin, cod with cruschi peppers, shrimp in pink sauce, and a platter of local cured meats! Then there's the pizza with very refined ingredients... like pistachio cream!!!! The dough is truly excellent! The house Aglianico wine is exquisite! Among the desserts, the ricotta cream with salted caramel stands out! A place to try at least once in your life!

The soft lighting and intimate atmosphere create an elegant and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a quiet evening with friends.
The cuisine is top-notch: the fish is incredibly fresh, and the quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent. The dishes are carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor, with a perfect balance between tradition and creativity. Each course was a pleasant discovery.
An added bonus is definitely the owner, always kind, helpful, and attentive to the needs of his guests, who puts them at ease from the moment they arrive.

01/01/2026: Don't let the '80s look fool you. The staff is super friendly and very dedicated to their customers. Prices are in line with downtown. I felt right at home, kudos to the waiters 👏

The restaurant has retained its vintage style but has updated its prices to match those of the best Michelin-starred restaurants.

23/02/2026: I'm sorry, but the poke wasn't good at all. The chicken had a really weird flavor, and the Philadelphia was practically nonexistent (having paid for it). The rice was too hard.
13/12/2025: A quick but truly satisfying lunch. We had a fresh, well-balanced poke bowl with quality ingredients.
The portions were generous and the flavors excellent.
The restaurant was well-kept and the staff were friendly.
Perfect for a light but tasty lunch break. Recommended!

06/09/2025: A simply surreal experience. There were 12 of us, including 7 children, and we just wanted to order pizzas for dinner. I showed up at 7:30 PM to place my order and pay in advance: the response was, "We don't take orders. Come at 9:00 PM and we'll make them for you." Unusual, but I trusted them.
At 9:00 PM I returned, hoping that at least the children could eat. The lady at the cash register—rude and clearly annoyed—didn't even have the courage to look in: she disappeared. After minutes of waiting, I asked the pizza chef, who started counting the dough balls and candidly told me, "I can't make them for you." No explanation, no alternative. Just a dismissal with, "Go ahead, there's another pizzeria."
The result? A broken promise, no professionalism, total disorganization, and zero respect for families with children. I've never had a similar experience at any other pizzeria.
If you want a quiet and reliable evening, the advice is only one: go elsewhere.
