27/08/2024: Era da tempo che non ci godevamo una cena di pesce con tanta soddisfazione, oltre alla qualità e le porzioni veramente abbondanti, il servizio, tutto gestito in famiglia dalla cucina ai tavoli non è stato da meno, assolutamente da provare questa esperienza di impresa familiare personalmente quando rimango così soddisfatto il mio umore migliora.

12/05/2025: In my whole life I never got such an insolent service when eating out!!!! We started with the waiter telling us what we want to eat without any welcoming intro or giving us a menu!!!! When he came back for the order he told us it's better to have the same option to eat so we can eat quicker. We did the order and three of us took pasta, one of us a different option. The waiter told us better agree on the same pasta to have as we will wait for an hour to have our plate!!!! Never did I hear a waiter saying this and I never expected this at all!!! How absurd!!! We did order the same pasta as we were told but then realised that the other clients were having different pasta at the same time as us so the cook still had to cook different pasta!!! We asked for the wine list and the waiter replied choose any wine bottle you see around you, oh dear!!!! One of us told him, we prefer white wine so it'd be better not around us but refrigerated to which he told us to go and choose from the cooler!!! With all this absurdity we were served our pasta plates more than an hour later!!! Then finishing off with the bill. The waiter scribbled it down on a piece of paper and threw it away as soon as we paid, I never got to know if the bill was right. I was so taken aback with all this having an urge to get out of there that it was after that I realized!!!

03/05/2025: Excellent raw materials and impeccably cooked, each dish is a discovery with fish at its centre. Truly remarkable selection of appetizers and raw meats. The cellar is exceptional. I recommend it!!!!!!!!

23/04/2025: Dopo una gita al Parco Archeologico di Metaponto abbiamo cercato invano (a Metaponto) un posto dove mettere qualcosa sotto i denti, ma era tutto chiuso eccezion fatta per qualche bar. Valutando la nostra posizione il navigatore ci ha guidato fino in centro a Bernalda, piccolo borgo sospeso tra le colline e il mare ove in pieno centro ci siamo imbattuti nella Trattoria da Fifina, storico locale da oltre 70 anni. Qui la signora Rita, proprietaria e cuoca, porta avanti la tradizione familiare culinaria e locale. Piatti semplici ma gustosi, preparati con cura, ben presentati e con giuste porzioni. La signora Rita è solita decantare il proprio menù a voce (nessun menù cartaceo era presente), spaziando dalla carne al pesce utilizzando i prodotti del territorio in base alle stagioni. Prezzi ragionevoli, servizio veloce e cortese.

01/05/2025: Dopo vari giri a vuoto nei locali di "ultima generazione" di Matera , ci siamo per caso e per fortuna imbattuti in questo ristorante "non improvvisato"....il titolare Mario ci ha accolto da vero padrone di casa, con gentilezza cordialità e simpatia....consigliandoci benissimo secondo le nostre esigenze....Abbiamo mangiato un super antipasto con prodotti tipici lucani di ottima qualità, tra cui un meravigliiso piatto di cruschi... Orecchiette alle cime di rapa altrettanto eccezionali...fino ad un ottimo dolce .vaniglia pan di Spagna e cioccolato fondente..Tutto davvero buonissimo... I camerieri attenti e gentili, locale accogliente e delizioso. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole mangiare bene nel segno della vera tradizione e a prezzi più che onesti. 08/04/2025: I often go here given my limited time during the lunch break and every time I find courtesy and friendliness. Worthy of note is the welcome, kindness and speed of Annabruna and Tonia, when I find them I also find education, professionalism and also excellent advice if you are undecided about pairings! Excellent value for money, very nice and welcoming place, with seating both inside and outside.

04/05/2025: Attracted by the supposed panoramic view we stopped for an aperitif... Staff amusing themselves between cell phones and chatting... My partner orders. A trio arrives (a single container with small bowls containing tarallini, salted broad beans and cheese pretzels) and a small glass of prosecco. For me there was no possibility of ordering: no bottles of water, no non-alcoholic cocktails. Bill: €16.50. Receipt non-existent. I think it is not a place to frequent, to be absolutely avoided

02/05/2025: We had dinner last night and the experience left a lot to be desired. The waiter was helpful and made an effort to explain the inexplicable: 3 euros per person for cover, the most expensive we have paid on our entire trip… and without including bread, olives, or oil. According to what they told us, that price was for the tablecloth (paper, very basic) and the cutlery. We ordered a “special” pizza that turned out to be expensive for what it was: medium, quite scarce and nothing remarkable in flavor. Together with a water, the bill was 23 euros, which seemed like a real robbery for how little we consumed. A few minutes after being there we already imagined where the shots were going, so we decided not to ask for more. A shame, because we were hoping for a better dining experience. We do not recommend it. I don't give less than one star because they don't allow it. A scam if you don't make money. It's a shame
