31/03/2024: Happened by chance at lunch time, we thought we were in the wrong place, but no. At 2pm the place is still full but there is a table for two. The menu is written on a blackboard which denotes the presence of many regulars, but the waiters recognize novices and indicate where to direct their gaze. Courtesy and know-how immediately put those who arrive at ease and the environment gives a feeling of familiarity. The proposal is varied for both first courses and second courses and can satisfy different tastes and impeccable preparation. Very good value for money. We will return, but I think it will be difficult to find a place around 1pm. Open only for lunch.
20/03/2024: When we arrived on site we thought we hadn't chosen well, but instead we pleasantly changed our minds. Excellent and courteous service with a very pleasant culinary offering.

14/03/2024: Historic and elegant location, located on the castle hill. Highly qualified and friendly staff, especially Thomas, always available, knowledgeable and friendly. Tasty, good food. Abundant dishes but elegant at the same time. Owner helpful and friendly. Absolutely recommended

We wanted to order a sword and salmon carpaccio, but it wasn't available, so the restaurant manager tells us that they have tuna... but it's a smoked one ready! So we opted for a portion of salmon only, a portion of octopus and potatoes where the flavorings covered both the taste of the octopus and the potatoes, which were completely raw internally! The roasted prawns had not been removed from the intestine, so we took care of this before eating them. The wine was good and the blond-haired waitress was kind.

14/10/2023: The fish restaurant you don't expect, right behind your house! The experience at Marelandia is a wonderful surprise every time you treat yourself to a meal out. Fish shop with sales point during the day and restaurant in the evening, it is always a place that brings joy!
Ask for off-menu items, because those listed are just a small taste of what the Chef can create. Simple flavours, with fish always fresh and served with kindness by the husband.
Extremely honest prices, finally, in Policoro.

A first paccheri with scorpion fish, cherry tomatoes and Oscar-worthy olives. Rarely do you eat so well
11/02/2024: I was invited to a birthday party on a quiet evening... with my friends we went out for a cigarette. Upon returning the bouncers with an arrogant tone won't let my friends in anymore, you pay and you also have to meet outside the door.... I believe that embarrassing things happen then... we need a little more humility in life...

22/10/2023: The mussels were very tasty and abundant in quantity, very well presented. The mixed seafood pasta with mussels, classic, shrimp was amazing with a tasty sauce . So good and was able to dip some bread in also. The cuttlefish was also well presented and tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant. What a treat to have so many good choices of fish and seafood on the menu. The service was first class. I would reccomend this restaurant for atmosphere, service, food , and wine. Best diner yet in Italy.
