12/08/2026: A decidedly negative experience, especially due to the management's attitude and the lack of customer service. We had dinner with another couple and our children, and from the start, the lady running the restaurant was unwelcoming and extremely unfriendly. We weren't even offered the option of ordering a simple pasta dish for the children. Even more unpleasant was the situation with my wife, who was pregnant and unable to eat seafood: only after I insistently pointed this out was she agreed, almost as if it were a concession, to prepare pasta with tomato sauce for her. Another thing I found truly absurd was the order management: we were asked to decide on both the first and second courses right from the start, with the excuse that the restaurant would soon fill up. I understand the organizational needs of a restaurant, but forcing a customer to decide on the second course in advance, without knowing how hungry they'll be after the first course, seems disrespectful to the normal needs of those who come to dinner. Even at the time of payment, the attitude didn't improve. We simply asked, quite naturally, to split the bill equally, and were rushed, in a manner that we once again found rude and unprofessional. Finally, we were given a receipt that, from the way it was presented to us, appeared to be a simple management document and not a tax receipt. This aspect should be clarified. Ultimately, it's not so much a question of the cuisine as of customer treatment. When you go to a restaurant, you also pay to be greeted with courtesy, helpfulness, and respect. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we felt neither welcomed nor respected. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The restaurant enjoys a spectacular location: lunch (or dinner) overlooking the blue Adriatic Sea offers a sense of peace and wonder that, alone, is worth the trip. But the real journey begins when the dishes arrive at the table. 🐟 The Sea on the Plate I opted for a menu featuring only seafood and was absolutely blown away. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, carefully selected, and cooked to perfection. Each course is a perfect balance between the authentic flavor of seafood tradition and a touch of elegant modernity. From appetizers to main courses, you can sense the love and passion the chef puts into cooking. What made the evening truly perfect, however, was the service. In particular, I want to offer a special thanks to waiter Ruggero. His professionalism, kindness, and smile made all the difference. He guided us through our selection of dishes with great expertise and a friendly, yet never intrusive approach, making us feel pampered from start to finish. A true asset for this restaurant! FINAL VERDICT: A fabulous location, sublime food, and a warm welcome. Excellent value. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone passing through. A well-deserved five stars!

08/06/2026: I had the impression of eating a frozen pizza. The base was about 1-1.5 cm thick and too dry on the bottom, while the area under the toppings was too doughy. This was by far the worst pizza I've had in Italy.

19/08/2026: The decor alone is worth a visit. The walls are adorned with paintings and works of the finest Italian pop art. The food is well-matched and delicious, and the service is attentive.

19/08/2026: We spent a wonderful evening at Hosteria del Pavone and can't recommend it highly enough! Located in the heart of Vasto's historic center, the restaurant is meticulously maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised by the open-view refrigerator where the fish is aging. From the first moment, we felt welcomed; everyone was extremely kind, helpful, and courteous. The food was simply top-notch: high-quality ingredients and carefully prepared dishes. A special mention definitely goes to the raw seafood, which was truly exceptional. We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2026: High prices and meager portions. €8 for a piece of lasagna is excessive. The fried food is served on a small plastic plate (the one used for desserts).

20/08/2026: A very elegant place right on Vasto Marina, where you can dine to the sound of the sea; the staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is high quality, and the presentation is meticulously crafted. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet, romantic evening; we'll definitely be back.

13/07/2026: If you're looking for a place that combines quality, quantity, and price, this is the place. We had the Colorado seafood soup. I don't think there's anything better on the entire Vasto coast. Congratulations. I'll definitely visit again before I go home.

12/07/2026: This isn't the first time we've come to this little restaurant on the seafront. I have to be honest: the other times I've eaten decently, but this time was a bit of a disappointment. Pinza and bruschetta by the meter are always good, the baked orota and sea bass are always excellent, the fried fish is always good, and I've never tried the appetizers... But the first courses were a disappointment, both the spaghetti with clams and the pasta with seafood, both unsalted and dry, truly flavorless. I rarely leave a dish behind, even when I'm at dinner, but this time I really didn't like it. Maybe I'll return, but not for the first courses. The first courses need improvement if they're to remain on the menu, in my opinion.

30/07/2026: The beach is very beautiful, wide, and well-maintained, ideal for a day at the beach. The only thing I wasn't entirely happy with was the spacing between the standard umbrellas, which I found to be rather small. It would be nice to leave a little more space between the umbrellas, to ensure greater privacy and tranquility even for those who choose single umbrellas, not just the larger ones. The restaurant, on the other hand, made a good impression: the service is courteous and organized, and the dishes are carefully prepared and well-executed. Overall, it's a beach I recommend. With a little more attention to the spacing between the umbrellas, the experience would be even better.

22/07/2026: Excellent! During my stay in Vasto, I went to this establishment for three days straight, and what can I say? It was excellent from the first to the last day! Everyone was super kind and polite. You made the afternoons with my 8-month-old daughter peaceful and relaxing. Thank you, we'll be back!
