18/10/2025: The fish-based first courses are devastated by the tomato (gnocchi, paccheri, etc.) a unique tomato flavor, you can't even taste the fish and it's not even there... you're only paying for the location (and it's expensive too). The second courses are better... but guys, since you charge for the scent... put the fish, not the scent...

13/10/2025: Superlative restaurant, the food is excellent, very attentive and the staff are expert... they know how to do their job very well and pay great attention to customers, you can understand the presence in the Michelin Guides... prices in line with the value of the restaurant... but believe me absolutely not exorbitant... very fair in relation to the level.

09/09/2025: The place is well-maintained and offers plenty of space between tables. The staff is very kind and attentive. The food is excellent and the dishes are beautifully presented. It's definitely worth the visit.

25/10/2025: We expected something more from the chef's appetizers, both in terms of selection and the courses (given the price). The first courses, however, amazed us, starting with the reinterpretation of fish meunière. The white guazzetto, however, is up to par and doesn't make you miss the more traditional guazzetto with tomato sauce, although it could be included on the menu. The service was very kind and attentive, thank you! The location could use some updating and modernization, but all in all, it's a pleasant place and gives off a summery feel!

23/10/2025: The host, Fabio, offers our tour guests an amazing menu of fresh seafood or lamb, or vegetarian options if desired. Outside the window is a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. This is our go-to group lunch spot for our visits to Ortona on our WWII battlefield tours.

29/08/2025: A dinner that was nothing short of spectacular! An incredible seafood dinner. We found this place among the gluten-free options in the area, and we never expected such attention and organization, even down to the smallest details. The staff was attentive and friendly from the start. We had two medium-large dogs with us, and they were welcomed into the establishment. The waiter explained the gluten-free options, including homemade pasta, fried fish, and artisanal desserts. A dream for a celiac on vacation. The taste experience exceeded our expectations. A place we absolutely recommend and will return to soon.

26/10/2025: It was worth the price (€90) and the 220 km drive to get there. Reservations required; I've never tasted so many appetizers. There were 12 of us. Teramo's historic center; parking is almost impossible on weekdays.

08/09/2025: I attended an event called Mare=Campo a few nights ago, and I can say that despite it being a combined evening with food and drink stands and a DJ set, I was overall more than satisfied with the quality of the food, the atmosphere, the wine selection for the occasion, and, of course, the entire setting, including the music. I congratulate them because you can never take anything for granted when you attend an organized event, and I must also compliment them on the treatment they gave us, given that we were a large group. Betty is an excellent host, and the entire team was friendly and super efficient. My compliments, and I'm sure I'll be returning to events or to try the à la carte menu soon.

24/09/2025: We went to this place one evening in September. It's on the beach, nothing super sophisticated, very simple, and I'd say it's suitable for families. The menu, as the name suggests, features mostly fried fish dishes. The prices are in line, neither expensive nor super cheap. The dishes are good and well-balanced. I recommend it if you're in the area in the summer.

23/09/2025: I have been to this restaurant for dinner three times now and each time it has been a great experience. The food was delicious – always fresh, beautifully presented and absolutely flawless in taste. The service was also top notch, kind, attentive and professional, making us feel really welcome. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and relaxed, which makes the visit an experience to look forward to. I definitely recommend it and I would love to go back soon myself!

Absolutely top-notch quality in terms of freshness and presentation. We were completely full and enjoyed the ambiance and very friendly service.

04/10/2025: We travel frequently for business and/or pleasure. We rarely give a restaurant 5 stars because perfection is difficult to achieve. Taverna del Marinaio in Lanciano fully deserves 5 stars! Unsurpassed value for money. Excellently prepared food, everything is refined and fresh. The service, evening meal pairings, and wine selection are extraordinary. The location is breathtaking. This restaurant demonstrates the entire staff's passion for food and wine. The restaurant is spotless, as are the restrooms. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dining room staff is very knowledgeable about gastronomy and the entire world of wine. We will definitely be back!
