31/12/2025: A pleasant discovery! We're tourists, and we decided to try this place because of its name. Upon entering, we were overwhelmed by Tonino and Flavia's warmth and friendliness, and we immediately felt like part of the family, something they care deeply about. The place is aesthetically unique, not to mention the quality of the products and cooking methods, and the dishes were served with care. The passion they put into it really shines through. I recommend trying everything, absolutely everything! Our experience ended with a warm hug. It's a shame about the distance that separates us, but we'd love to return. 29/12/2025: A true gem in the heart of Isernia. The place is managed with great care and flair. The rooms are furnished with a unique and welcoming taste. The food is delicious and the ingredients are high-quality. The service is attentive and cheerful. The coffee is served just like a grandmother would, with a coffee pot and old-fashioned cups with a sugar cube. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

13/10/2025: A very well-kept restaurant with exceptional customer service. Excellent table service with detailed explanations of the dishes and the wine selection. Distinctive, as its name suggests, offers a selection of unusual and never banal dishes using local ingredients. An experience to remember and highly recommended! Lovers of platters should abstain! I'm intentionally adding very few photos so as not to spoil any pleasant surprises! Well done!

The owner's warmth and friendliness make you feel at ease, and his expert advice makes everything simple and enjoyable. An experience to repeat!

05/04/2026: I'd heard about it and booked for Easter. I was informed that there would be a fixed menu, featuring fish. A warm welcome from the very friendly Peppe, who makes you feel at ease and even recommends wines from a well-stocked and high-quality cellar. Excellent menu, quality food prepared with skill and expertise. We will definitely return to try the à la carte menu.

13/05/2026: Existo Osteria Molisana in Isernia was an extraordinary discovery. A place where tradition, quality, and hospitality meet in an authentic way. Each dish speaks of Molise with authentic flavors, excellent ingredients, and a care that is evident from the first bite to the last. A warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and cuisine that makes you feel at home while still providing a special experience. I returned to Naples completely satisfied, with the pleasure of having found an osteria that leaves its mark. Congratulations to the entire staff: places like this deserve to be remembered... and above all, to be rediscovered soon.

07/05/2026: An excellence, without a doubt. A meticulously maintained restaurant in a period building with stone walls. Elegant and warm furnishings. Tables without tablecloths, with a touch of color. An open kitchen at the entrance. An original menu featuring reinterpreted local dishes and flavors. Top-quality ingredients. Dishes presented with the care and elegance worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Simply divine, for example, is the "Dal Mediterraneo al Volturno" appetizer, which combines Volturno River trout, Mediterranean tuna, and burrata. Even the local wine sold by the glass, from a winery in Monteroduni (Island), is superior quality at a very low price. The staff is courteous, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Applause.

27/01/2026: When you work with passion and expertise, the customer experience can only be EXCELLENT!!! A mountain property surrounded by greenery just a few kilometers from Prato Gentile, where peace and tranquility reign supreme. A warm wooden cabin with a large fireplace made for a Sunday lunch to remember. The kindness with which we were welcomed made us feel at home; the cuisine offered is simple and homely, with authentic flavors and high quality. A delightful discovery that I highly recommend.

30/05/2026: We've been to this pizzeria many times and have always chosen it for the excellent quality of the pizza and the friendliness of the staff. For this very reason, I regret having to leave a negative review. We had booked for the 8:00 PM sitting because we didn't want to dine too late. However, after we sat down, no one came to take our order for over half an hour, and only after we asked. It should be noted that the restaurant wasn't yet at full capacity at the time. The appetizer arrived after another 15 minutes of waiting. The biggest problem, however, was with the pizzas: we waited a full 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering, and again, they arrived only after we asked for clarification. As if that weren't enough, there were two of us, and they weren't served at the same time: one pizza arrived first, and the other, which was also undercooked, arrived several minutes later. The most intolerable thing was seeing a table next to ours, who had arrived about an hour and a half after us, receive their pizzas before ours. We found this completely incomprehensible and unacceptable. Finally, we had to wait another 20 minutes just to receive two coffees. Throughout the evening, waiters passed by our table several times without ever informing us of the delays or checking on the situation. If it hadn't been for our constant reminders, we would have been completely ignored. We understand that service difficulties can occur, but such a long wait, combined with a total lack of customer service, is unacceptable. It's a real shame, especially since we've always had a good experience in the past and never expected such an experience.

25/11/2025: Out for work, the perfect dinner to revitalize the day. Unexpected portions of exquisite roast caciocavallo cheese, roasted to perfection, without drying it out, melting the inside while still leaving the outside tender. The beef fillet in Tintilla wine was a superb experience: perfectly cooked rare, with a strong wine reduction for at least 300-400 grams of excellent quality meat. A vast and comprehensive menu for every craving. Truly satisfied, highly recommended.

20/05/2026: Arriving in the area, intrigued by the name of the restaurant found on Google and after reading the reviews, we decided to go. Google doesn't actually take you to the restaurant, but to a shop located 100 meters away, heading towards Roccaraso. As soon as we arrived, seeing as there wasn't much parking in front of the restaurant, we drove a few meters further and found a blonde woman of a certain age waiting for us. She was very suspicious and advised us not to eat there because, she said, they were scammers and would serve low-quality food at outrageous prices. Naturally, we didn't listen to her and went inside. The location was beautiful, clean, well-kept, and welcoming. The staff were extremely kind, a family who suffers daily from the harassment of this woman, who, incidentally, is the owner of the restaurant that this family has taken over. Anyway, let's get to the review...the menu was standard and appreciable, with local ingredients and specialties. We had an appetizer consisting of a truly delicious buffalo mozzarella and some delicious prosciutto crudo. An excellent portion that we shared between three of us. Two portions of ravioli filled with goat ricotta and broccoli rabe, topped with a good sauce and shaved truffle, which they didn't skimp on. Excellent... perhaps a little sparse, only 4 pieces, but I must say they were large and of artisanal quality. Grilled lamb, excellent, 5 pieces per portion, a very nice portion of substance, considering the lamb slices were at least 1 cm thick. Grilled vegetables seasoned with excellent extra virgin olive oil. 2 bottles of water. Local bread, very nice and fresh. A coffee for a total of €95.00. For the current target audience and considering the quality of the products, more than fair. For the owners: We are the three of us, along with the lawyer from the Marche region.

08/05/2026: A truly strange situation. We thought we were on an episode of "C'è posta per te" (You've Got Mail)... but moving on to the food. Many of the dishes we chose were changed because there wasn't enough. Despite this, the starters were very good, but the portions were meager. The meat was very good, and the side dishes were average, nothing special. The place is very nice and seemed quite clean to me. The only shame was that the starters were changed twice. The kitchen and service need to improve. Anyway, I should go back a second time to find out more... it's definitely not as described by the grocery store lady, who really scared us 😂.

29/12/2025: A warm and welcoming inn in the Molise region that serves pasta, pizza, and meat. Variety is a strong point, as is the quality and service. We ordered a 2-kilo Florentine steak, raised on site, which was tasty and reasonably priced. We also had baked potatoes and an appetizer of cheeses and cured meats, both excellent. I really appreciated the combination of different types of salt with the meat; it was truly professional. The desserts were large and delicious. Finally, the service was perfect, staffed by young, helpful women.

The welcome was impeccable, with a staff distinguished by their professionalism, kindness, and attentive service. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes crafted with attention to every detail and top-quality ingredients: the passion and care they put into every dish is evident. We also greatly appreciated the opportunity to bring our dog with us, a sign of great care and openness. A truly pleasant experience in every way. We will definitely return in future seasons to discover new combinations and options.
