31/10/2025: Impeccable service, very attentive staff, friendly, kind and always ready despite the high attendance. Excellent quality pies.

26/09/2025: I went out for pizza one evening with colleagues. We ordered different pizzas. It's rare for large portions of pizza to be left on the plate. We didn't like the wait, nor the pizzas, nor the desserts, which tasted of everything except the ingredients in their names and weren't exactly fresh. Luckily, our company was enough. I think Marantò makes the worst pizza in Isernia, and there were 21 of us to try it.

05/11/2025: Second time at this beautiful restaurant, and this time we were greeted by a Michelin star, which we were very happy about because they deserve it! We dined and stayed at Locanda Mammì and had a truly wonderful time. The three-course tasting menu, at a competitive price, exceeded our expectations. Special mention goes to the tongue appetizer with potato peel consommé: a journey of flavor that envelops the palate, and to the transhumance risotto, which is a true olfactory and taste experience. The dessert, the rose cake, is a little wonder! The staff is very kind and welcoming, and we can see that a lot of work and research goes into their dishes. They bring a special Molise to the table!

18/10/2025: My partner and I return here as often as we can to delight our palates. As far as I'm concerned, the entirely vegan menu is truly top-notch; I've eaten so well in few places. We particularly love this "locanda" because we've never left unsatisfied; on the contrary, the atmosphere and the sensory journey of the tasting always leave us pleasantly enchanted. 🙂

30/11/2025: We visited this restaurant yesterday, and it turned out to be a pleasant stop during our visit to Isernia. The place is delightful, with meticulous attention to detail, allowing you to immerse yourself in a warm, intimate, and welcoming atmosphere. The menu features a few high-quality, expertly prepared dishes. We ordered: "L'ha fatto nonna" (Grandma's Facts), cavatelli with pork sauce, and paccheri with creamed pumpkin, bacon, and salted ricotta, for a total of €37. Special mention goes to the friendly staff, who are welcoming, joke, and make you feel right at home. Congratulations! When we return to Isernia, we'll definitely stop by!

13/10/2025: A very well-kept restaurant with exceptional customer service. Excellent table service with detailed explanations of the dishes and the wine selection. Distinctive, as its name suggests, offers a selection of unusual and never banal dishes using local ingredients. An experience to remember and highly recommended! Lovers of platters should abstain! I'm intentionally adding very few photos so as not to spoil any pleasant surprises! Well done!

We ate pizzas which, in addition to being tasty, were also presented really well (it will be the same for the restaurant side) and the pie was top-notch, congratulations. 05/11/2025: Reasonable prices. €8.50 for a diavola. Quick and attentive service. The inside dining room is a bit cramped and noisy, but conversation was easy at a table of four.

24/10/2025: An unbelievable experience at this tiny restaurant with amazing dishes the food quality was outstanding. Homemade pasta with incredible flavors only fresh ingredients. The local meats cooked perfectly with special seasonings. It’s was so good went back again. Met the owner’s who happens to be the chef and his wife who serves and hosts customers. The local wine is great paired perfectly with my meal.

20/10/2025: During a pleasant day in Molise, on our way to the nearby wellness center, we decided to stop for a quick lunch at the Donna Carmela restaurant, recommended by an acquaintance. The restaurant is located in a quaint alley in the village of Guasto, shrouded in ivy and autumnal colors that create a truly evocative atmosphere. Inside, the atmosphere is simple, welcoming, and meticulously detailed. The menus are beautifully presented, with a wooden cover and a daily menu written on a blackboard, illustrated by the lady in charge. We chose two first courses: pumpkin gnocchi with butter, rosemary, chestnuts, and Parmesan cheese, very pleasant and well-balanced, and a forest soup with porcini mushrooms, mushrooms, potatoes, pancetta, chestnuts, and truffle. Unfortunately, the truffle wasn't fresh, but in a sauce, which somewhat detracted from the otherwise rich and flavorful dish. We couldn't help but try the Caciocavallo di Roccamandolfi 2.0 with egg and black truffle from Molise, an iconic dish of the area. The flavor was also good and well-balanced, but using fresh truffle—especially during this time of year—would certainly have made a difference. Overall, a good dining experience, with rich and flavorful dishes, courteous service, and a reasonable price. A pleasant stop in a little corner of Molise worth discovering.

20/10/2025: My partner and I had dinner at Donna Carmela and overall we had a great time. We had an appetizer for two with typical products—cured meats, cheeses, frittata, and ricotta—all very good and beautifully presented. For our first course, I chose the pappardelle with wild boar and porcini mushrooms, while my partner ordered a veal cutlet with wine. The quality of the dishes was good, and they were enjoyable to eat; my only complaint: there wasn't a single porcini mushroom in sight; they must have been left in the woods 😂😅. The veal cutlet, however, was truly excellent. We also had a dessert, which was decent, and the bill was more than fair for what we ate. The only downside: the owner was a bit aloof, while the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a good restaurant, with authentic cuisine and fair prices.

23/11/2025: A very disappointing experience. I ordered a pizza with cooked ham, which at this place is served with thinly sliced ​​ham. I simply asked for it in slices, a minimal request that in many places doesn't result in any price change. Instead, I found the price of the pizza increased from €8 to €14, without any warning. I find it unfair to charge such a large difference for such a trivial change. Furthermore, the desserts were microscopic, especially considering they cost €7 each. Absolutely disappointing value for money. To make matters worse, I was also charged for the pizza box I left over and the sauces, truly absurd extra costs for such a service. Poor value for money and a complete lack of clarity. I will definitely never return, and I will create a lot of negative publicity. Unfair.

19/11/2025: Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Very good pizza, both the dough and the ingredients. I only gave it a 4 because some of the pizzas were a little burnt. Excellent desserts. Recommended.
