We stopped in for lunch while passing through, but now we're thinking of returning to visit Isernia and getting a subscription to Grandma's on the dresser. They welcomed us and pampered us with extraordinary dishes, and our 14-month-old ate at least 60g of pasta with the tenderest veal sauce. The dining room staff is exceptional, both in recommending daily specials and making you feel pampered without missing a thing. Absolutely top-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. A special treat: instead of the soulless coffee capsules, they brought us a moka pot, and this is the heart of this sublime place.

This restaurant is also one of the most highly recommended in Isernia. The interior is very beautiful and has a rustic atmosphere; we ate in the small room at the back. We tried the first courses, which we ordered two portions, but they were so generous that they would easily serve four people as an appetizer. Next, we tried the cheese and egg balls, which are absolutely worth it, and the famous cod, which was truly excellent and even a seafood expert at our table gave it a thumbs up. Everything was paired with an excellent wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are really fair; in fact, I expected to pay more given the excellent quality.

Four of us had dinner at this restaurant, and we chose it based on its original name and the excellent reviews... and it truly was a delicious dinner! Everything is carefully thought out, from the decor to the atmosphere, from the welcome to the menu. Antonio truly pampered us with his knowledge and a touch of humor, recommending typical dishes. We enjoyed an exquisite "L'ha fatto nonna" (Grandma Made It) with the addition of meatballs and cod meatballs, ravioli alla scapulare (scapular ravioli), and square spaghetti with cod, finishing with a tasting of four different desserts. To round out the dinner, he brought us a lovely mocha coffee to share and Rossana candies. How wonderful to see them again and look at them! We highly recommend this little place, which brought us back with great pleasure—and a hint of nostalgia—to our childhood.

We loved everything!!! The fusilli...the ravioli...the cheese and egg balls... And the girl too!!! Very kind and friendly!!! The bill was excellent!!!

A welcoming place, quick service, and friendly staff who immediately put you at ease. If you want to enjoy well-prepared traditional dishes, this is the place for you. I think the best way to sum it up is...like eating at Grandma's house!!

Discovered by chance while visiting Isernia's historic center. The staff (Antonio and Vittoria) are very helpful and friendly, and the food is excellent. The homemade spaghetti alla chitarra with truffles and diaphragm are fabulous. Excellent value.

A lovely place, found during a visit to Isernia. The service was good, courteous, and prompt. The wait was a bit long, but the dishes are freshly prepared, so that's to be expected. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous.
