19/05/2026: We had lunch on Monday the 18th and there were 3 of us. The food was good but it was difficult to fully appreciate it due to the terrible service. The wait times were extremely long: we were the first customers to come in but they forgot about us. Two dishes arrived and the third much later and only after being asked for. Water was ordered but it arrived only after a long wait and a further request. The feeling of total disorganization. Even getting 3 coffees was difficult and since they never arrived we had to ask for them. When it came time to pay, others in the queue at the cash register complained and told us that they were expecting fewer people and there were only a few of them! It would have been more correct not to accept any more customers beyond the number for which adequate service could be offered.

18/05/2026: A legendary restaurant for tortellini. All the other dishes are also excellent: siamo fritti, branzino alla griglia, mille folie di Manzo, and the semifreddo. The service was outstanding and attentive.

09/08/2026: We had dinner at Locanda Trattoria Il Cavallino and were truly satisfied. We chose the tortellini tasting menu, featuring several options, all very tasty and varied, with generous, satisfying portions. The lady who welcomed and served us was truly courteous, kind, and helpful, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. A place we happily recommend for a simple, authentic, and flavorful dinner.

08/08/2026: We had a lovely evening. We started with an appetizer platter of salami, ham, and cheese. For my main course, I had a variety of tortellini: classic, filled with onions, and filled with pumpkin. We'll definitely be back, especially for the tiramisu and the friendly owner.

18/08/2026: A romantic location by the river, very good food... it would have been so lovely if only one of the waiters had smiled! The service was rushed... such a shame!

17/08/2026: I had a good experience at the Lepre restaurant: - the atmosphere is very refined, with a special mention for the bright outdoor garden, which gives you a sense of peace; the interior, on the other hand, felt a bit darker, with antique-style furnishings. - the service was quick and friendly, and the lady who served us was very kind. - the food was very tasty, the tagliata was well-cooked, and the tortellini were special. I would have preferred the grilled vegetables and caponata to be warmer, as they were a bit too cold. Overall, the overall rating is very good. 👍🏻

15/08/2026: I returned to this restaurant after more than thirty years, and the quality remains as excellent as it was then. The quality of all the products, from appetizers to dessert, is beyond words. A mishap during lunch made me feel like part of the family. I'll return perhaps in the winter because it was so hot (the only flaw). Excellent.

10/08/2026: We were incredibly lucky to get a reservation at Locanda Belvedere. All the tables were booked that evening—as they are almost every evening in the summer, we were told. The service, the ambiance, and, not least, the outstanding food made it easy to see why. You sit beautifully under old chestnut trees and can enjoy the stunning scenery while your meal, served promptly but without any rush, is enjoyed. The service, which also included English speakers, was consistently warm, professional, and attentive. Of all the wonderful dishes, the fettuccine al ragu and the roast chicken impressed us the most. The desserts, such as the tiramisu and the panna cotta, were also exquisite. A little gem nestled amidst the magnificent scenery of Lake Garda, yet far removed from the tourist crowds.

09/08/2026: Very nice setting with a lovely view of the moraine hills. The service was attentive but a bit slow. The food was "no"; the pike was bland and came with a measly slice of polenta; the rib eye steak, cooked as requested, was flavorless and very stiff. I wouldn't return.

21/08/2026: We ate well, sampling Valeggio's famous tortelli and tortellini. The appetizers were also good. What could really be improved was the service: inattentive in the dining room and very slow in the kitchen. The prices were average. We took advantage of the 20% The Fork discount. Quiet atmosphere.

08/08/2026: Simple and carefully prepared menu! The service is informal and pleasant. The atmosphere is comfortable and classic, right in the city center—very convenient!

06/07/2026: A beautiful place with incredibly friendly staff! Thanks to Altin, who welcomed us and looked after us exceptionally well. The food was delicious.

06/07/2026: Exceptional location, priceless view of the Mincio River. Excellent, professional, and friendly service. Very good food, some combinations a little strange, but it's a matter of taste and demand (obviously). Only flaws: some dishes on the menu were unavailable because they sold out that day. Some customers started smoking at the tables during dinner, and no one did anything. Also, but I don't think this is due to the restaurant's management, the very annoying presence of insects throughout the surrounding area.
