26/04/2026: I remembered it being better....but tonight we weren't at all satisfied: the seafood pizza had almost all cuttlefish and the dough was rubbery, not to mention the capricciosa, on top of having to get the cereal dough as an alternative to the Napoli dough, it wasn't cooked enough and still had the mozzarella in pieces....and here I am.....I will never go there again!

23/04/2026: Excellent pizzas with a wide variety of toppings. Despite the restaurant being packed, the wait was minimal, and best of all, they brought the children's orders right away. The waiters were very helpful and attentive. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: The food was very good; we ordered the daily specials, but the entire menu looked inviting. The atmosphere was in keeping with the setting, right under the walls. The young woman who served us was very kind. We were very happy with our choice.

06/05/2026: Really good food, the ham is absolutely a must try with their stratagliata...it melts in your mouth, highly recommended and it is located close to the walls near an entrance to the city.

18/04/2026: I've been coming to La Lanterna for many years. The service is always quick and impeccable. Good pizzas, and the green pepper fillet is excellent. But times change. Last night we ordered a seafood salad with Ascoli olives, buttered spinach, and grilled salmon. Tens of minutes pass, and only the seafood and spinach salad arrives. I ask for the Ascoli olives, but still nothing. I ask again, and they finally arrive, saying they'd lost my order. Meanwhile, I'm getting tired of waiting and losing my appetite for the salmon. I ask, and they tell me they'd lost my order again, this time for the salmon, which I ask them to cancel. I ask for the bill, and what does the waitress do? She brings the bill to my girlfriend instead of me! The service is terrible and makes me lose the desire to eat out. A restaurant in a beautiful location, but it's completely ruined. I recommend trying other restaurants around there; there are plenty.

16/04/2026: I've been getting takeout pizza every week from this restaurant for a couple of years now. In my opinion, it's one of the best in the city center. I've also had the opportunity to eat at the outdoor tables, and the view of the square is beautiful. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and polite. You can tell the owners care deeply about their restaurant, and this is reflected in the staff, who are always impeccable. Recommended for lunch or dinner in the center of Padua!

01/06/2026: Great! Smaller menu with good gluten-free pizzas. Gluten-free tiramisu. There's a good variety of pizzas on the other menus. Excellent, friendly, and efficient service.

15/01/2026: I walked past this hotel daily as I was staying with a friend in Padova. This hotel always had the nicest staff and the patrons always dressed very well. The location is great for walking around near restaurants and they will hail a taxi when you want go further. They even went out of their way to hold a lost item of mine at the desk so I could retrieve it. I know when I return, I will stay here!

03/05/2026: We were looked after by a guy named Andrea, who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and super friendly. We sampled a mix of cured meats with giardiniera (pickled vegetables) and then chose three cuts of meat. Everything was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the dining room was well-maintained. Highly recommended.

18/04/2026: My friends and I had dinner there, the quality of the meat was high, but the kindness and service were poor, there was little seriousness, unprofessional jokes, brusque manners, unfortunately the quality did not reflect the service.

17/05/2026: A beautiful, well-kept restaurant. Despite the crowds, the seating capacity is enormous, and the service is quite good, although there are some issues with timing. The main courses arrived slowly, and we were forced to eat separately (me and the four people with me). The steamed seafood salad was very good. I recommend it.

10/03/2026: Varied breakfasts for every taste and origin, a clean and fragrant environment with attention to detail. The staff is brilliant, elegant, attentive, and welcoming. Since December, I've been staying at the hotel once a month. At the restaurant, I've tried the sports menu and the all-you-can-eat menu. Superlative, refined, and unexpected food. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended, especially for those just passing through for a quick getaway.

22/11/2025: Very nice, unusual location. Super staff... Parking nearby. I love the thin-crust pizza and it's fantastic—light dough, quality ingredients, and original but never overdone combinations. Super friendly staff and fast service even when it's busy. Fair prices for what they offer. Cheerful and positive atmosphere, very professional young people. Definitely worth returning to.

06/07/2025: Bad experience, ... there were four of us for lunch, I called saying we'd be there in 10 minutes at 2:05 PM (on the internet they say closing at 3:00 PM) and everything was fine. I got there and it was already closed ... obviously they don't need to work...

11/06/2025: The summer garden is excellent, the food impeccable, from pizza to meat and fish, and the staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back.

29/04/2026: Expensive prices, poor service, and tasteless food. Never again, thank you. I'd rather spend 80 euros somewhere else.

28/04/2026: They must have changed their policy. Minimal tables with placemats. I remember it with large, generously laid tables. As for the food, the Florentine steak remains a must. Excellent. The appetizers were embarrassing. The raw fish was too fresh and had an unpleasant smell and taste. The cheese platter should have said "cheese shavings." The bill was steep. I don't think I'll be back.
