La Scuderia In Abano terme

A beautiful, well-kept restaurant. Despite the crowds, the seating capacity is enormous, and the service is quite good, although there are some issues with timing. The main courses arrived slowly, and we were forced to eat separately (me and the four people with me). The steamed seafood salad was very good. I recommend it.

Last night (Wednesday), for the first time. You enter through an automatic door and find an incredibly large space, which you can already tell from the parking lot. The effect when you look around is wow. It's the pizzeria version of a ceremonial castle. The place supposedly seats 800-900 people! Comfortable chairs/armchairs, imposing chandeliers, walls and display cases with hundreds and hundreds of bottles of wine. The restaurant's menu reads like the "Corriere della Sera" newspaper, with an addendum they called the "Spring Menu," which isn't a menu but a list of dishes not on the "daily" menu. The pizza is good; I had a calzone and asked for the porchetta to be replaced with Prague ham, which they did without batting an eyelid. I asked for the knife to be replaced with a carving knife. Impeccable service, along the lines of "asked and served," and with great kindness. Clean and spacious bathrooms. I will return to also judge the cuisine and the local dishes.

Such a huge restaurant, yet the quality of the food and the service were genuinely impressive — something you rarely find in places of this size. It is open until 1 a.m., which is almost impossible to find in Italy, so it really becomes a lifesaver if you want to have dinner late in the evening. The choice of dishes is overwhelming, there are so many options that it’s impossible to try everything. The sea bream,filetto di rombo.. for example, was cooked perfectly. A special thank you as well for the attentive and fast service.

Spacious spaces and a refined atmosphere. Excellent food and impeccable service, very fast considering the large number of guests. The young and friendly waiters.

I had a Caesar salad, so I can only judge that dish... I've had better. In terms of quantity, it wasn't exactly abundant. You're still a bit hungry. The place is nice. There's no arguing that, but since it's big, it can get quite crowded when it's busy. Of course, this also depends on the people around you. A few more smiles wouldn't hurt. But I'll be back, I'm sure it can also depend on the specific evening.

Scuderia is an institution near Abano Terme. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of options, and there's a huge selection. The staff is young and friendly and never leaves you wanting for anything. The location is beautiful, large, and clean. Definitely worth a try!

The prices are quite high, and the portions are small. Reservations aren't actually necessary, as they simply let you walk in and sit wherever you like, without escorting you. The service is very slow: we arrived at 7 pm, and our food took a while to arrive. The food tastes good, but nothing more.
