08/12/2025: This beautiful restaurant just outside the center of Abano offers Venetian cuisine in a refined and elegant setting. We had a truly enjoyable dinner, sampling traditional dishes such as soppressa with polenta, tagliolini with radicchio and speck, cod Vicenza-style, and stuffed ravioli. The wine list is well-stocked and the service impeccable. Highly recommended!

03/02/2026: This tavern, which retains the atmosphere and selection of dishes of the glorious taverns of Padua that have now disappeared (with a few exceptions), offers a selection of local foods and wines, served with courtesy and professionalism, making the experience complete and pleasant not only in terms of food and wine........

31/01/2026: We celebrated a birthday and they served us excellently. They offered us sparkling wine to finish. The birthday girl says the waiters are very nice and professional.

15/01/2026: I walked past this hotel daily as I was staying with a friend in Padova. This hotel always had the nicest staff and the patrons always dressed very well. The location is great for walking around near restaurants and they will hail a taxi when you want go further. They even went out of their way to hold a lost item of mine at the desk so I could retrieve it. I know when I return, I will stay here!

15/02/2026: I visited this restaurant for their Valentine's Day menu, and from a culinary perspective, the experience was truly positive. I ate very well: the dishes were prepared with quality ingredients, well-crafted, and carefully presented. You could sense the attention paid to the choice of ingredients and the cooking. The service was excellent and fast. The waiter was kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the evening, contributing to the pleasant atmosphere. Even the homemade bread served with the food was truly delicious, an unusual detail that I particularly appreciated. The location is beautiful and elegant, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. One small point, more about style than substance: the set menu included a risotto, which, if ordered individually, cost around €22-23. Since the woman I dined with doesn't eat rice, we asked to replace it with another first course, worth around €16. I should point out that the request for a change came from us and that, formally, there was no obligation to revise the price of the set menu. However, it would have been a particularly elegant gesture—even if only symbolic—to take the initiative to deduct a few euros from the total, precisely to take into account the difference in value of the replaced dish. It wasn't due, but it would have been a sign of consideration for the customer. The real sore point, unfortunately, concerns the bill. We had chosen a set Valentine's Day menu that expressly stated that a cover charge was included. However, at the time of payment, a service charge was added separately. This situation, I personally found unfair, as it was inconsistent with what was stated on the menu. We're talking about an extra 7 euros, which, in itself, doesn't change the evening, but represents a matter of principle and transparency. I preferred to pay without complaining for the sake of elegance and not to embarrass anyone, but the fact remains that I noted it. This is why I'm giving it three stars instead of five: the quality deserves the highest possible rating, but accuracy in the bill is crucial. The result is that the restaurant has earned a few extra euros, but has lost the loyalty of a customer who until then had been completely satisfied.

07/02/2026: I visited the Tavern with my husband and can say without hesitation that it was a simply fantastic experience, from every perspective. We started with a delicious egg, delicate, balanced, and perfectly cooked: one of those dishes that immediately makes you know you're in the right place. Next up was a truly memorable skewer of out-of-this-world meat: incredibly tender, flavorful, and impeccably cooked, a dish worth the visit alone. Roberto, the owner, deserves a special mention: an incredible person, passionate, present, and authentic. You can clearly sense how much he loves his job and cares about his guests. He made us feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish, with great professionalism but also with a rare human warmth. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better... the desserts arrived, even the out-of-this-world ones: carefully prepared, delicious, and perfectly in keeping with the exceptional quality of the rest of the dinner. To conclude, we sampled the house amari, made by Roberto himself: delicious, intense, and balanced, the perfect ending to a perfect evening. A welcoming atmosphere, top-notch quality, excellent service, and a passion evident in every detail. A dinner we will long remember and highly recommend. A well-deserved 5 stars!

08/03/2026: I usually don’t write comments but I am very allergic and I saw that all the pizza has tomato options. I asked to make pizza with items that I can eat: zucchini and chicken, even without cheese, and they made it! Even tho I don’t speak Italian and we were trying to explain ourselves in English. Recommend!

04/03/2026: The pizzas and first courses are excellent in both quality and quantity! As they say, "for everything else, there's Mastercard," but the service and attention they provide to their guests is something that's hard to find anywhere else. It's a special talent.

24/10/2025: The Plaka is supposedly an ARCI cultural center that should serve food, drinks, and promote Greek culture exclusively among its tax-exempt members. In practice, it's a terrible aspiring restaurant that profits from all the unfortunates. The kitchen is non-existent, and the managers are recycled ex-students. Avoid.

23/10/2025: High expectations, terrible experience, food that's not fresh or poorly preserved, hard to digest, and overpriced. I don't recommend it.

07/03/2026: We came with a Polish group, and all the girls were thrilled. Every dish was delicious... simple cuisine, but with attention to detail and tastefully presented. The atmosphere perfectly reflects the authentic charm of the village.

14/02/2026: Today was a total disappointment... The guinea fowl was old because it was frozen and to heat it up they added a sauce but they didn't manage to because it was cold inside (in fact they told us that the wait was at least 15 minutes). The same goes for the side dish of potatoes (old and cold)...

30/11/2025: After waiting for an hour, despite already having a reservation, I decided to try the pizza anyway. It was a regular pizza, nothing special. I only ate half and took the other half to go because it was already 11 PM. I can only say that I fell asleep at 7 AM from an insane thirst: I could barely breathe, as if the dough had just been made. I'd give it 0 stars if that were possible. Obviously, I won't be back.

24/01/2026: A very nice place with a good capacity. The cuisine is unusual but of a medium-high standard. The prices are not excessive and more or less balanced. There's a covered summer veranda that's pleasant in the warmer months. There's no specific outdoor parking, but you can find it somewhere in the streets opposite. A very negative note, however, is the presence of only one bathroom with over 40/50 seats. It's absolutely scandalous!

09/03/2026: I've been to this place before, and it confirms its professionalism and quality. Stopped in for a business lunch. The service is fast and extremely friendly. The ingredients are always top-notch, especially the mozzarella, which makes all the difference. They're made with authentic spicy Neapolitan sausage, not the usual plastic salami. The dough is easy to digest and flavorful, and the prices are more than fair considering the quality and proximity to the city center.

22/11/2025: Very nice, unusual location. Super staff... Parking nearby. I love the thin-crust pizza and it's fantastic—light dough, quality ingredients, and original but never overdone combinations. Super friendly staff and fast service even when it's busy. Fair prices for what they offer. Cheerful and positive atmosphere, very professional young people. Definitely worth returning to.
