01/01/2026: This place is fantastic. It was particularly impressive warm fresh baked bread as soon as we finished ordering, it was delicious on its own. We had the warm cod salad to start and it was delicious especially the cod, then we had the margherita pizza with ricotta it was amazing and we are pizza snobs. The tomato sauce was great. we also had the lasagne and it was delicious and perfectly done as well, it's the standard Italian style meat lightly seasoned bechamel nutmeg season. Overall great experience we were too full for dessert but we bet it would be great. If we ordered again we'd get the same salad and two pizzas this time to try others🍅

01/03/2026: I recommend this place to anyone who doesn't know what good food is and is happy with a nice restaurant. The prices are exorbitant for the quality offered. The service isn't bad, but it reminds me of the restaurants on the ferries to the larger islands. The manager is clearly aiming to generate as much revenue as possible in the short term and has no interest in retaining customers. We're happy to say, "Never again."

25/01/2026: A very quaint and original restaurant in Sarmeola. Although it's not large, there are several tables for dining in. The cuisine is traditional and regional, with high-quality ingredients (generous portions and the option of halving portions on some dishes) for both savory and sweet dishes. The young, friendly, and welcoming staff are excellent.

25/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on Christmas Day. We'd already eaten, but were intrigued by the location, which was objectively beautiful inside. We asked if it was possible to simply have two coffees. We also looked at the menu: very high prices, seemingly carefully prepared dishes. The welcome, however, was cold, almost annoyed. It's a shame, because you never know what a customer's true interests might be. We got the bill: 8 euros for two coffees. Frankly, crazy. We left and were barely greeted. Honestly, the experience completely put me off returning to try the food. Never again.

01/02/2026: We celebrated our daughter's baptism and couldn't have made a better choice!! We received excellent service from Ilenia! On the day of the ceremony, the service was impeccable, the room beautifully prepared and meticulously maintained. We were absolutely delighted! We recommend it to everyone!

The staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and always available to meet their every need, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is simply exquisite: every dish is prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, from the inviting aroma to the meticulous presentation. The pizzas are cooked to perfection, with a light and easily digestible dough, and the restaurant's specialties never disappoint. Furthermore, the atmosphere is welcoming and well-maintained, ideal for both a quiet family lunch and an evening out with friends. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent Italian cuisine accompanied by impeccable service!

13/03/2026: I had one of the most delicious Florentine steaks. The meat was truly excellent, perfectly prepared and served. I really appreciated the fact that it was served on a very hot plate, so it wouldn't get cold, as was the personal plate. The service was excellent, very kind and attentive. The atmosphere could be improved, but it was still pleasant. I recommend them for a dinner with friends, a business meeting, or a romantic dinner. Prices are reasonable.

09/03/2026: This review is intended only to provide food for thought regarding the poor service that has characterized the restaurant. We were welcomed, even without a reservation at 12:20 pm, accepting the condition of having to leave the table by 1:40 pm, after a 35-minute wait after having consumed a selection of cheeses for one person divided between three... we realized that while all the other tables, both before and after us, were having lunch, our table had been completely forgotten. After twice asking the staff for the two portions of agnolotti and a tartare with grilled vegetables I had ordered, and seeing the lack of consideration and attention, I decided to get up and leave with my family, telling the owner, who was in the dining room serving other diners. In truth, I explained what had happened to the owner, and realizing what had happened, he apologized by not charging me for the water and the portion of cheese I had consumed. However, the son, contrary to his father's decision, invited me to pay regardless... without apologizing or having the humility to know how to welcome a customer. Perhaps he still needs to grow and take a leaf out of the book from those who are certainly more experienced. In the end, we paid 30 euros for putting up with the inconvenience!

10/03/2026: My favorite seafood restaurant in Padua. Found by chance while wandering around with an empty stomach and a real hunger, it will become a regular stop whenever I pass through the city center. A well-structured menu, relatively few dishes but expertly prepared: when the saying "less is more" holds true, the diner isn't distracted and gets straight to the point, confident that what's on offer is made with excellent ingredients and expertly prepared. The wine list is more than adequate, with choices for all tastes and budgets. Impeccable service, courteous, never overbearing, and just the right amount. Outside, the world rushes by, inside, the heart and stomach delight. Fairly priced for what's on offer. A special mention for the restrooms: clean and tidy. And that's no small feat in the heart of the city center... Thank you so much for a moment of peace and culinary magic.

10/02/2026: We waited over an hour because our order had been forgotten. The appetizer never arrived, but it was added to our bill anyway. No apology or gesture. The food was average. What a shame.

28/01/2026: Excellent business lunch. I'll just describe my choices, but the other diners were also very pleased with theirs. The polenta with salami, mushrooms, and truffle was very good, followed by duck foie gras accompanied by fruit... WONDERFUL. An excellent Cabernet to round out the meal. I'll definitely be back.

18/03/2026: At Osteria Nane della Giulia, every dish tells a story. The seafood trio won us over immediately, with the creamed cod melting in our mouths like a whisper of the sea. The bigoli with pork sauce were rustic and intense, while the gnocchi with braised beef and cabbage enveloped us in a warm and comforting embrace. The couverture, a perfect braised beef, concluded the meal elegantly, full of depth and flavor. All accompanied by local wines that sang along with the dishes, and by a young, expert, and friendly service that makes every visit a light and special experience. You don't just come here to eat: you come to experience a small daily masterpiece, amidst aromas, flavors, and smiles that linger within.
