30/03/2026: We arrived at this restaurant without a reservation yesterday on Palm Sunday—my wife, I, and our medium-large dog. We were greeted with a smile and immediately seated in a suitable space. The place is welcoming and very well-maintained. The owner's passion is immediately evident; he is very attentive to ensuring everything is running smoothly and engaging in pleasant conversation with the guests at the various tables. The entire staff also contributes to the pleasant welcome. The cuisine is high-quality, prices are reasonable. A truly positive experience, one we will definitely repeat.

15/02/2026: I visited this restaurant for their Valentine's Day menu, and from a culinary perspective, the experience was truly positive. I ate very well: the dishes were prepared with quality ingredients, well-crafted, and carefully presented. You could sense the attention paid to the choice of ingredients and the cooking. The service was excellent and fast. The waiter was kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the evening, contributing to the pleasant atmosphere. Even the homemade bread served with the food was truly delicious, an unusual detail that I particularly appreciated. The location is beautiful and elegant, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. One small point, more about style than substance: the set menu included a risotto, which, if ordered individually, cost around €22-23. Since the woman I dined with doesn't eat rice, we asked to replace it with another first course, worth around €16. I should point out that the request for a change came from us and that, formally, there was no obligation to revise the price of the set menu. However, it would have been a particularly elegant gesture—even if only symbolic—to take the initiative to deduct a few euros from the total, precisely to take into account the difference in value of the replaced dish. It wasn't due, but it would have been a sign of consideration for the customer. The real sore point, unfortunately, concerns the bill. We had chosen a set Valentine's Day menu that expressly stated that a cover charge was included. However, at the time of payment, a service charge was added separately. This situation, I personally found unfair, as it was inconsistent with what was stated on the menu. We're talking about an extra 7 euros, which, in itself, doesn't change the evening, but represents a matter of principle and transparency. I preferred to pay without complaining for the sake of elegance and not to embarrass anyone, but the fact remains that I noted it. This is why I'm giving it three stars instead of five: the quality deserves the highest possible rating, but accuracy in the bill is crucial. The result is that the restaurant has earned a few extra euros, but has lost the loyalty of a customer who until then had been completely satisfied.

22/08/2025: I stopped here by chance on my way to Rimini. And it was one of the best decisions of this trip. I don't think I'll find such a delicious Carbonara pizza anywhere else 😭😭😭

07/03/2026: Wonderful dinner at Taverna La Fenice 🍽️ We ordered roast beef — the meat was very tender, juicy and cooked perfectly, with a beautiful pink center. The side dishes were also a pleasant surprise: fragrant fried mushrooms, spinach, zucchini with cauliflower and tender potatoes. Everything is delicious, fresh and goes well with each other. The presentation of the dish is neat and appetizing, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and cozy. The staff is attentive and friendly, which makes the dinner even more comfortable. We left with very good impressions. We recommend this place for a delicious and peaceful dinner!

03/04/2026: We had dinner starting with an Adriatic appetizer. It was a Thursday, maybe I got it wrong...the quantity was mediocre, the quality was a 5. We didn't trust the fried food...we ordered dessert, which was a 5. We had to wait to pay the bill. NB: We dined with our quilts on, the place was poorly heated. Bad experience.

07/04/2026: Traditional, solid neighborhood option. Super convenient location right off Campo San Vio. Excellent grilled fish with polenta. Warm, solicitous hospitality. I sat inside looking out through an open window at the canal and it was a perfect, low-key last night in a city I have come to adore.

06/04/2026: Il Cantinone Storico is a place that immediately captivates. The staff is professional and friendly, and the food is truly excellent and carefully prepared. The view of the canal in Venice is splendid and creates a unique atmosphere. The location is beautiful and welcoming, with reasonable prices for the quality offered. A place you'll always want to return to! 😊

30/11/2025: After waiting for an hour, despite already having a reservation, I decided to try the pizza anyway. It was a regular pizza, nothing special. I only ate half and took the other half to go because it was already 11 PM. I can only say that I fell asleep at 7 AM from an insane thirst: I could barely breathe, as if the dough had just been made. I'd give it 0 stars if that were possible. Obviously, I won't be back.

Excellent food, commendable staff in every way, they even prepared gluten-free dishes with the utmost professionalism and safety, allowing us to enjoy all the delicious dishes in a relaxed and safe environment for celiacs!
