19/07/2026: Mediocre food but really terrible service. They ignored us. Didn't give us olive oil or balsamic like other tables. Said we could not eat in the inside AC room despite letting others. Just horrible and rude. Avoid this place. Literally every other place in Perugia had better food for same prices and weren't racist. This place is trash.

18/07/2026: The food didn't make up for the service and atmosphere. My family had a terrible experience. We asked to be seated inside, but were refused, while other customers were seated. We had to ask for oil when it was brought to other tables. We repeatedly didn't receive the same service as everyone else. Furthermore, some dishes were too salty, others tasteless.

18/04/2026: I'll be honest, I can't judge the food because we didn't have a chance to eat... but the terrible attitude of the staff in charge was enough. Let me start by saying that I work in the public sector and have also worked in the restaurant industry... We went to Luciano Terrazza; recommended by friends... We arrived without a reservation with our little girl. We asked the staff if there was room for two people and a high chair. They said yes and let us in. At the same time, the waiter asked the manager where to seat us, "two people with high chairs?" And there, the manager, thinking we couldn't see, made a not-so-friendly gesture with his hands, as if we were bothering him, exclaiming something I didn't want to say, at which point he looked up and realized we'd noticed. At that point, he shoved us into a corner, saying, "It's the only place, the rest is booked." P.S. The place was half-empty. I would have accepted that place because I didn't have reservations or special needs anyway. But it's clear that having a child not even a year old with us would have pissed off the manager. So as soon as we came in, we left... That's why I can't rate the quality of the food. P.S. The restaurant had free seats even later...

02/02/2026: Chronologically, starting with the food. It must be said quite clearly that the most capable man in this establishment is the chef. The service would love to recapture the glory of bygone years. Unfortunately, it's just as outdated as the wine glasses. Wine service isn't a priority here. Guests are expected to help themselves if they wish to enjoy their wine. The ambiance is a complete panorama of 1980s elegance – certainly Grand Novel Cuisine back then. Today it looks much the same, a bit dated, but nonetheless possessing an elegant charm. All in all, worth a visit.

10/06/2026: We stopped by Antico Café in Foligno for breakfast, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. Located right in the city center, the café has a warm and inviting atmosphere that lets you truly soak in the charm and energy of the city. The coffee was excellent, and the croissants were fresh and delicious. We also tried the mini croissant sandwiches, which were a delightful surprise and made for a perfect light breakfast. The customer service was outstanding—the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Antico Café is a lovely spot to relax, enjoy great coffee and pastries, and bask in the city's atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast and a great vibe!

24/05/2026: We periodically try to give this bar another chance because of its location, and every time it disappoints. This time it was the best: six perfectly ordinary cocktails (almost €60). We asked if they could offer just two snacks, peanuts and chips, the kind of food 99% of bars offer. They brought us a small bowl of peanuts and two 30g packets of chips, and charged us a whopping €2.20 for each. We pointed out that it was the first time we'd been charged for chips at that bar (60g for six people and one peanut each, practically, shocked) and that he could have said so since it's not listed on the menu. The waiter told us it was impossible and that it was for hygiene reasons, apologizing (at least) for not having warned us. It's ridiculous to charge a table that spent almost as much as a dinner 10 grams of chips each. You say nothing is included with the drinks due to a new policy. We order something else, and we're all happier. But leaving aside the lie (the truth is that today, since there were so many people, they thought we were a group of tourists to be fooled), the packets were put in the containers where we would hypothetically have poured the chips. I don't understand hygiene of what? We got up from there practically half drunk thanks to the 10 grams of chips and the peanut we'd eaten, but there's no way we'd have spent a single euro more here.

13/07/2026: Unfortunately, a myth has fallen, at least for me. The pizza isn't well-risen and has too much toppings, making it difficult, very hard to digest. Otherwise, they're always very kind and fast. Too bad.

23/07/2026: We have eaten here three times and every time the food was delicious. The lobster, the rack of lamb, the steak, spaghetti, and all the other dishes were delicious. There really was plenty to eat. The waitress was extremely friendly and spoke good English. The atmosphere is good, and the menu is nice. There is enough space to eat quietly, yet it is very cozy. It is a beautiful family restaurant with a lot of passion.

22/07/2026: Fine resturant with view out on the lake, and hills ind the back. The food was good, and there was plenty. We did not go hungry home. The service nice smiling and helpful.

19/07/2026: Very nice, cosy, authentic Italian restaurant. The food is very delicious and of high quality! The price of the food is a little more elevated compared to other restaurants, but still reasonable and totally worth it! The service is extremely friendly and really Italian!

Cute restaurant with a beautiful fireplace, good food, but the prices are completely disproportionate, both for the simplicity of the preparation and the decidedly small portions. Three small pieces of bruschetta with sausage and cheese for €18 and a plate of pici with tomato sauce for €18.

27/06/2026: I dined at Vizio during a stay in Perugia. The establishment is located in an area of ​​the city where, from the outside, it doesn't immediately appear to be a restaurant, but rather a nightlife venue with a lounge bar. The outdoor area is primarily dedicated to cocktails and aperitifs, while the restaurant itself is located inside. From a gastronomic standpoint, we were satisfied: we tried several dishes, and the quality of the food was good, as was the presentation. The staff also deserves a mention: knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and very attentive throughout the dinner. The real downside, however, concerns the overall experience. The restaurant is located within a hotel and shares some spaces with the hotel's guests. This means there's a constant flow of people passing through the dining room or adjacent areas, often in very casual attire, carrying shopping bags, or even in slippers. This situation inevitably detracts from the atmosphere and the level of experience the establishment aims to convey. Prices are significantly higher than the Perugia average, and personally, this isn't a problem when the experience is consistent with the final bill. However, paying a €4 cover charge per person (€8 for two) and being in such a busy area leaves a sense of mismatch between the cost and the experience offered. Perhaps giving up a few tables in areas more exposed to hotel guests would allow the restaurant's offerings to be better showcased and make a bill that is among the city's higher-end options more justifiable. Overall, the cuisine is good and the service is up to par, but some aspects related to the ambience limit what could be a much more refined experience.

02/06/2026: The prices are those of haute cuisine, but the culinary experience and transparency aren't quite up to par. I have to confirm what other users have already reported: the price-to-value ratio is unbalanced. I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during a stopover, and the experience was disappointing on several levels. 1. Analysis of Dishes and Costs ​Tagliata al Tartufo (€28.50): As you can see in the photo, the portion is small; the meat has been sliced ​​and arranged on the plate to take up space, but there's little substance. Furthermore, the truffle is present in such a small quantity as to be imperceptible. ​Selezione di Norcineria (€39.00 for two people): For €19.50 per portion, we were served a few slices of cured meats that appeared ordinary, with a menu that conveyed no distinction between the raw materials. Small Beef Fillet (€23.00): A very small portion with extremely basic plating. Transparency and Management The most critical aspect, however, concerns management. Upon arrival, we were informed that the POS terminal was out of order. When paying at the register, for a total of €141.50, we were only given a preliminary bill, which, as we later realized, stated "collect the receipt at the register." Needless to say, we have no trace of the commercial document. Note to the owner: I've read that you often respond to criticism by accusing customers of being "keyboard warriors" or of not understanding quality. I can reassure you: I regularly frequent Michelin-starred restaurants (most recently Osteria Francescana) and am happy to pay for excellence. However, excellence requires substance, technique, and, above all, transparency, both fiscal and otherwise. If you choose fine dining prices, you have to offer commensurate service. Here, I found meager portions, limited culinary concepts, and questionable payment management.

21/03/2026: Nice and welcoming, excellent food. I highly recommend the gnocchi with gorgonzola and truffle... truly delicious. The owner is very kind. We'll be back to try other specialties. ☺️

02/01/2026: We came to this restaurant for Umbria Jazz and had a truly wonderful time. The restaurant is perfect in every way: food, service, location, and decor, everything is meticulously designed. We also chose something off the menu: lentils with sausage, which were truly excellent. The polenta with wild boar, porcini mushrooms, and sausage was simply heavenly. Finally, the desserts: berry tart and tiramisu, both excellent. A truly positive experience: we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

19/06/2026: We visited TricTrac twice—once for aperitivo and then for dinner. On both occasions, the service was very friendly and prompt. The food—such as the truffle risotto and polenta with ragù—was outstanding and stylishly presented. The location, with its view of the cathedral, is unique. Overall, a great atmosphere.

18/06/2026: The service wasn't attentive or thorough, but the view was truly magnificent! The food wasn't sophisticated, but it was tasty. We each had two craft beers (trying both the light and dark ones) and a mixed appetizer (scrambled eggs, ham, apple and walnut salad, and three crostini with vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, and radicchio).
