15/02/2026: Mediocre. Poor service and expensive for the quality of the food served. A visit not to be repeated.
25/01/2026: Finally, a rare steak cooked RARE! Not only delicious, but also perfectly sliced and cooked to order! There's a tendency around here to overcook the steak, which actually turns out to be more medium than rare, but not here!
The owner is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. We'll be back with pleasure on our next visit to the area!

10/04/2026: I ordered a small Funiculí pizza, well-cooked and crispy. They delivered an inedible mess. I've never had such awful pizza dough, not even in Buenos Aires. It wasn't fluffy or crispy at all; it was like raw, heavy, horrible bubblegum. Guys, stick to something else, pizza isn't your thing. The girls who served me were very friendly, but I don't eat friendliness...
08/04/2026: Table for 13 on a Tuesday with reservations:
We sat down at 8:21 PM and ordered pizzas and drinks at around 35. The pizzas arrived in batches after a wait of about 1:45, with the last one arriving at 10:25 PM. Despite this, the staff was honest, offering us three trays of fries and a tray of potato croquettes to apologize for the wait.
As for the quality of the pizza, I'm not sure it's the best. The next day, some of us felt sick, bloated, very thirsty, had poor digestibility, and had stomach aches, and no one ordered any particularly "strange" pizzas. Total cost €234 (€18 per person) for pizzas, a few beers, and five bottles of water (€0.75 each) to share.
Nice and welcoming atmosphere.

02/02/2026: Chronologically, starting with the food. It must be said quite clearly that the most capable man in this establishment is the chef. The service would love to recapture the glory of bygone years. Unfortunately, it's just as outdated as the wine glasses. Wine service isn't a priority here. Guests are expected to help themselves if they wish to enjoy their wine. The ambiance is a complete panorama of 1980s elegance – certainly Grand Novel Cuisine back then. Today it looks much the same, a bit dated, but nonetheless possessing an elegant charm. All in all, worth a visit.
05/01/2026: Two of us went for lunch yesterday, and it was admittedly a bit late—it was around 2:20 PM—so I understand we had to order quickly. The waiter who took our order didn't write down what we ordered, and more importantly, he was busy making the other order while he was taking our order. The result was that we ordered an appetizer and two entrees, but they only brought us one appetizer and one entree. We ate in a hurry, and the waiter couldn't wait to clear the table. We paid a lot for what we ate. When you decide to go out for a meal, take out a mortgage first.

15/02/2026: Delicious seafood risotto. The waitress is doing her best.
The woman behind the counter is extremely rude. She doesn't greet you, doesn't look at you, almost throws the card at you to pay, hangs on the couch, and looks at her phone with the volume on full blast.
In short, the food was good, but the atmosphere wasn't great.

07/03/2026: My husband and I ate here in February. The atmosphere was very special, especially because of the large fireplace where the meat is cooked. The dishes were flavorful, authentic, and generous portions. The service was good. Mrs. Silvana was a delightful person. We chatted with her as if she had been a longtime acquaintance. Congratulations on everything, and a big hug from Pasquale and Michela from Talamone.

01/03/2026: Steps: (1) the waiting time from the order, 1 hour just for the appetizer, steps (2) that the service was not excellent, they forgot to bring us some dishes, but standing there eating while there is a coming and going of people with shopping bags, pizza boxes, baby bottles, who pass by you, because customers of the hotel (which is located above the restaurant) pass by on their way to their room, absolutely NO and absolutely NO! The sushi was good but too expensive for the quantity and quality
01/03/2026: Incompetence and a lack of professionalism, coupled with a swanky atmosphere. I ordered two bottles for a birthday, complete with a "finger" on the menu. They were brought two bottles of the same type of wine but at very different prices. The bill magically rose from €50 to €180.

08/12/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, strolling through the narrow streets of Spello. It was an excellent choice for lunch! The owner, despite being incredibly busy given the packed restaurant, was incredibly kind. The food was excellent! And the place was very, very cute and welcoming!
08/12/2025: Excellent value for money. The owner was very kind and efficient. Even though it was crowded, we didn't have to wait for our food, and everything was excellent. The reviews in our case don't reflect the quality of the restaurant.

12/01/2026: Very, very bad food and service.
When we arrived they told us they served food till 23.00. We tried to order and no pizza available anymore, while 10 people around us still got served their pizza. That means no hospitality and heart for the customer.
Because we were hungry we ordered beef with fries. Disgusting. First we asked for rare meat but it was completely uncooked. Then we asked to recook it and it was basically rubber.
The meat was also of very low quality. Muscles inside the beef all along.
If you want to have a good dinner, never ever go here. They will rip you off your money and their customer service is bad.

22/02/2026: Poor-quality, overpriced food: the €10 cheese platter was made with packaged parmesan and mozzarella, carbonara and parmigiana soaked in oil... The bill was decidedly steep!
02/01/2026: We came to this restaurant for Umbria Jazz and had a truly wonderful time.
The restaurant is perfect in every way: food, service, location, and decor, everything is meticulously designed.
We also chose something off the menu: lentils with sausage, which were truly excellent.
The polenta with wild boar, porcini mushrooms, and sausage was simply heavenly.
Finally, the desserts: berry tart and tiramisu, both excellent.
A truly positive experience: we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

02/06/2025: Tempi infiniti per l' ordinazione e comunque servizio disorganizzato al massimo. Primo arrivato con un capello poi comunque rimandato indietro. Nel complesso cibo discreto. Non lo consiglio in maniera decisa.
05/05/2025: Horrible servicio. No nos sentaron porque no teníamos reservas. Así que salí, hice una reserva en línea y volví y les dije que tenía reservas. Nos sentaron, pero estaban claramente molestos. Esto es a pesar de que el restaurante nunca estuvo más de 2 / 3 lleno.
El servicio era extremadamente lento, sacaban las cosas a diferentes horas, etc. Además, la comida era promedio, en el mejor de los casos. No muy sabroso. Gran decepción.

05/01/2026: A beautiful place located in Piazza del Duomo. The zabaglione with Sagrantino passito wine is a must-try; it's a bit pricey (16 euros), but it's a unique experience. The dark hot chocolate, according to my wife, a huge fan of the same, is also perfect.
21/12/2025: Unique! Every visit to Umbria is always accompanied by a surprise at Tric Trac. The location, the staff, the aperitif, and above all, Spartaco... These are the reasons we always return.
