24/12/2023: Ritrovare Luciano Bencini dopo vent'anni ed essere accolto come se fossero trascorsi venti minuti... I Bencini sono così, sinceri e genuini come i loro vini, quindi con questi due aggettivi non esitate a venire a trovarli e/o ordinare i loro "Gallo nero"!!! In primavera tornerò a testare la tavola... Grazie famiglia Bencini e a presto!

03/11/2023: Personale molto gentile e preparato, spiegazione completa e dettagliata, il tutto abbinato ad ottimo cibo e prodotti locali. La nostra degustazione ha compreso uno spumante, un bianco e 4 rossi (delle varie tipologie di chianti). Ad accompagnare, una bruschetta con pomodorini conditi con l'olio di loro produzione, degli antipasti vegetariani, un piatto di pasta al ragù, tagliere di salumi e pecorino. Come conclusione, un buon dolce insieme al vin santo! Ottima location, vista molto bella... ci tornerò molto volentieri!

10/10/2023: This is under new ownership, now called Ristorante Pizzeria Il Ponte. Called in having just arrived for our holiday. Due to new ownership there was limited drink options, but the house risd and a lager were spot on. A couple of excellent pizzas were Doug on after most of day travelling. Service was great.

05/09/2023: Went to the restaurant on a whim with my wife and wow was it good. This was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. It was a quaint easy and the staff spoke English very well. I highly recommend this place if your in the area. Everything on the menu looked great.

27/09/2023: Lovely charming cellar room but extremely loud. Wait staff are friendly and very good with service. Food is flavorless and uninspired. Extremely overpriced. €25 for cocktails. €33 for pasta.

21/09/2023: If you get a table on the terrace the view is beautiful, Service was great (English speaking too) we had 6 adults and four kids and the there was a couch nearby for them to sit on and play, very family friendly. The food was great we had tuna tartare, pasta and steak, and all were delicious, also very good dessert wine moscato. If you do bring kids just bring something for them to do because each course is meant to be enjoyed.

13/08/2023: Dining in an amazing courtyard, beside a castle ruin and in front of an old church … the setting is fantastic … I ate here several times, repeating several dishes … The service is spectacular and the team working there, including the chef’s are great fun and very welcoming. Truly worth the drive and experience! Book in advance if you are not staying at the hotel!

29/10/2023: Wirklich gute trattoria in Belmonte Tolle Lage mit einer Terrasse von der man einen überwältigenden Ausblick über die toskanischen Hügel genießt. Wir hatten tagliatelle mit Wildschweinsauce - selten so eine gute Pasta gegessen, Ragout war auch sehr gut - etwas fett, geschmacklich gut gewürzt nahe an einer Bolognese dran. Danach eine hauchdünne Pizza la Bomba mit Speck, Bohnen und salsicce - dieser dünne Teig ist nicht so meine Sache, fast wie ein elsässischer Flammkuchen… Aber der Geschmack ein Zaubertraum Abzüge gibt’s für Olivenöl, Essig aus dem einwegsackerl statt ordentlicher Menage für den Salat. Extrem preiswert - € 8 für eine Pizza!

24/09/2023: The service was great. But the food we ordered wasn’t… We ordered risotto that was just rice with few mushrooms and tomato pasta that was ok minus. BUT we didn't order the pizza from the tabon which seems to be the specialty! Worth a try for the pizza and the great service 🙏
