05/01/2025: beautiful restaurant with farmhouse.... we were passing through with the camper on 12/31 we called on the phone and although they were closed because they were busy preparing for the New Year's Eve dinner they made themselves available for a takeaway lunch which we ate on board the camper all outside thanks to a beautiful sunny day with spring temperatures ... in their car park adjacent to the restaurant ... maximum availability and courtesy and above all abundant and tasty dishes ...

01/09/2024: We found this camper place through Campercontact and highly recommend it. Electricity and water are available, the owner is very friendly and the view is fantastic, with a sunset this is even fabulous. For a few euros you can use the swimming pool.

03/01/2025: Fame precedes this place. Also called Ca' Gianin, it is a decidedly out-of-the-way restaurant, an hour or so from the main towns. But it's always full. On our way back from Cerreto Laghi we stopped for a quick dinner. It was 7.20pm and there was room for 3. At 8.30pm when we left there were people without reservations waiting. It offers excellent rustic food from the area. We took just a couple of classics: meat ravioli with ragù and pappardelle with wild boar. Ample parking. Excellent service

29/10/2024: We wanted to take a Sunday trip even though it is not convenient for us to reach this restaurant as we are not local. We decided to do so because we wanted to relive a memory. Unfortunately we were disappointed as soon as we arrived for the swimming pool in a state very different from what it was on I remember, very dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned and disinfected this summer. But this was clearly the feeling we had... Let's talk about the menu instead... fixed price of 30 euros... small stools with cured meats, coppa, ham, salami... risotto with mushrooms and chestnuts. ..turkey with chestnuts....pork with mushroom sauce...Chocolate tart or dessert..We chose the starter, the risotto and the ravioli, both of which were part of the menu, however for the main courses we only wanted one head...the risotto and the appetizer were the only dishes in our opinion worthy...The ravioli (homemade or not) were absolutely nothing special and the meat, insipid and anonymous...the dry desserts, after a lunch I didn't really appreciate them but evidently, they taste great... we didn't eat them... in short, we weren't happy at all... Our beautiful memory of many years ago has been shattered... we certainly won't we will return..

10/12/2024: Unfortunately I was a little disappointed by the lack of some courses included in the menu and not available (pigeon, kid and green lasagne). Environment with disastrous acoustics (entering room on the right) and very kind waitresses, but overwhelmed and a little confusing perhaps due to too many customers arrived at the same time. However, the dishes we took (there were 6 of us) were of good quality. We will give the place a new opportunity. The view over Massa is exceptional, but the road to get there is pretty tough.

25/12/2024: Siamo stati il giorno di Natale per il pranzo che prevedeva menù fisso a 80€ a persona comprensivo di vino acqua e caffè. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, sia come gestione dei tempi delle portate che come cibo e qualità dei piatti. Molto molto bene, molto consigliato come sempre

12/12/2024: A shame!!! Never eaten worse than this! Dishes really badly made and of very poor quality! You can't eat that badly and above all you can't make poor quality frozen fish 200m from the sea! Please don't go there!! Or don't trust my words, try it for yourself!

02/01/2025: The staff is very kind and helpful. The toilets are not suitable for disabled people. The à la carte menu is sufficiently varied, with fish and meat dishes. The wine by the glass is the house wine, the white is a little lively, but then they serve me a local white, Baia del sole. We start with a warm seafood salad, €13, good and rich; let's start well! I move on to a plate of pici with clams, bottarga, lemon scent (€14), too bad the pici were way, way behind cooking (confirmed by the kitchen) and I don't finish them. A grilled sea bream €17 (which has dried out a bit, to be generous...) with grilled vegetables €5 (courgettes a little less than raw). Finished the dinner with a good creme brulee €6. Unfortunately, the homemade bread was chewy. Cover charge €2, water €2, glass of wine €4. In the end the €65 pre-bill arrives, but the receipt arrives only upon express request. Gluten-free: a rosette with cover, then they can serve gluten-free pasta (standard formats) and fried fish, with corn flour.

30/11/2024: Personale molto gentile. Servizi igienici non idonei per disabili. Il menù alla carta è sufficientemente vario, con piatti di pesce e di carne. Il vino al calice è quello della casa, il bianco un po' mosso, ma poi mi servono un bianco del territorio, Baia del sole. Iniziamo con un'insalata di mare tiepida, 13€, buona e ricca; cominciamo bene! Passo a un piatto di pici con vongole, bottarga, profumo di limone (14€), peccato che i pici erano moooolto indietro di cottura (confermato dalla cucina) e non li finisco. Un'orata alla griglia 17€ (che si è un po' asciugata, per essere generosi...) con verdure alla griglia 5€ (zucchini poco meno che crudi). Chiuso la cena con una buona crema catalana 6€. Il pane fatto in casa purtroppo risultava gommoso. Coperto 2€, acqua 2€, calice di vino 4€. Alla fine arriva il pre-conto 65€, ma lo scontrino arriva solo su espressa richiesta. Senza glutine: una rosetta con il coperto, poi possono servire la pasta senza glutine (formati standard) e il fritto di pesce, con farina di mais.

18/10/2024: It mainly offers take-away service but there is the possibility (perhaps by booking in advance) of being able to eat at one of the few tables inside but also outside .Pizza and focaccia are really good (try the basil focaccia for example), very kind staff and average prices. As for the pizza chef, I agree with what one of the previous reviewers wrote :-)
