10/11/2024: Pranzo no comment! Locale carino,dopo aver letto alcune recensioni io e la mia famiglia abhiamo prenotato .Siamo arrivati all'ora di apertura per il pranzo, quindi locale ancora vuoto e abbiamo ordinato subito.... tempo di attesa 1 ora per i primi: pasta al ragù, arrivata senza ragù, pici con polpo senza pici e il polpo come comparsa e le fettuccine al nero di seppia colorate industriali e immangiabile. Assolutamente da evitare!!!!

02/11/2024: Ho mangiato la pizza peggiore della mia vita…manca proprio l idea di cosa sia una pizza, vino della casa di bassa qualità, servizio rapido ma non si porta la pizza 15 min prima del secondo di mia moglie . Posto turistico

06/03/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. On an evening with few alternatives, given that most of the restaurants were closed, we decided to try this place, but found ourselves to be the only customers. The waiter, kind and helpful, informed us that many dishes on the menu were not available, which is understandable in the low season with little influx of tourists. Following his advice, we ordered a beef stew with two sides and a platter of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses. The problems started right from the appetizer: the platter was made up of low quality cold cuts, probably those packaged in supermarket trays cheap, for a decidedly unjustified cost of 18 euros. The stew, at first taste, confirmed our fears: meat heated in the microwave, with a sauce with an altered flavor, probably days old. The addition of vinegar seemed like a clumsy attempt to cover up the bad taste. The side dishes were equally disappointing: inedible baked potatoes, reheated several times, and vegetables sautéed in a pan only in name, in reality dry and tasteless, similar to those found in supermarket bags. Although we had left most of the food on our plates, the waiter, perhaps aware of the quality of the food, avoided asking if everything was OK. In order not to remain completely starved, we tried the "alternative tiramisu", which proved to be generous in size but terrible in taste. The final bill? 86 euros for two people. An absurd price for a dinner of such poor quality, which borders on fraud. The only positive note was the courtesy of the waiter, but otherwise it is a place that degrades catering, deceives customers and, even more seriously, could even put their health at risk. Definitely to be avoided. Thank you for your reply, although I'm sorry to read such a defensive tone. My review is based on real experience and sincere impressions, with no intention to defame or create controversy. I'm glad to know that you don't use packaged meats, but the perceived quality of the cutting board did not reflect the asking price. Regarding the dishes ordered, it is true that a stew dish was partly consumed, but this does not mean that the quality was satisfactory. Often, in a restaurant, you eat something just to not leave the plate completely intact, but this does not mean that the food lives up to expectations. Regarding the desserts, the fact that they were eaten does not mean that they were of excellent quality, but simply that they were the only alternative to end the dinner. Also, my comment about the vegetables wasn't questioning the cooking method, but their quality and flavor. I'm sorry that my review was perceived as an attack, but my intent was only to share an honest experience. I accept that there may be different opinions, but I believe that constructive discussion is always more useful than insults. I wish you a good day.

26/02/2025: Dinner with colleagues, some arrived late but, in any case, dishes arrived "in installments", some had finished the pizza, others still had to have it! Poor quality appetizer, my pizza was not the one ordered and the waiter even insisted that I made the wrong order! Luckily I wasn't alone otherwise I would have thought I expressed myself badly! Quite a steep bill for a shared starter and a pizza that I didn't finish and didn't like! I don't think I'll return.

06/10/2024: Quiet bathroom, with 3 hot showers and 3 toilets, bar and restaurant. Unfortunately on the beach there are no games for small children or games for teenagers.

03/09/2024: Frequented for its bar. However, the overall appearance is excellent, it appears clean and well cared for. Good level of hospitality. Excellent opinion of the bar which offers good and quite assorted pastries, always hot and fragrant. Superlative is the coffee with its inebriating aroma and unique and engaging flavour, perfect roasting, Ponzanelli brand. To be enjoyed sitting while admiring the beach

05/04/2025: My new favorite restaurant, i would travel to Firenze again to go to this place❤️ the servant even recognized us and gave us a free limoncello shot😅 but i realky would recommend!! Especially the lasagna, tiramisu and sweet wine❤️

18/01/2025: All the standard things you expect in a restaurant are absent in this restaurant. In the heart of Tuscany, typical Italian dishes, made from a can and/or the microwave, tasteless, and on top of that, the service has not been in the mood for it for a while. Maybe it's because we are Dutch in Cortona, so tourists, they only come once. Now we live in Cortona half the year, so we could come back or recommend a restaurant to friends, but not this restaurant.

07/01/2025: think of a restaurant that will serve the best meal in Italy! TASTY dishes, very well served and if you are looking for regional flavor, come! I've been to Italy a few times times and I didn't find the flavor and atmosphere so wonderful.

05/03/2025: I spent a wonderful evening at Fortino with my boyfriend. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, with little lights that make everything a little romantic. The food is excellent and very varied. I recommend this place to spend a quiet evening in the company of your favorite people 🥰

22/01/2025: Costly. Incredibly expensive. 107 euros for: pizza, a glass of wine, a bottle of Coca-Cola, normal pasta, semifreddo cake and espresso coffee. I think it's too much. The food is ordinary, no frills. Not worth the money spent. The only positive was that the gas heater worked and it was cold in the evenings.

18/12/2024: Personale scortese e maleducato. Se fai un'osservazione ti rispondono con arroganza. Sembra che dai fastidio. Non prendono prenotazioni e ci sta. Calcolate però che tra le 19,30 e le 20 il locale è già pieno quindi, essendo il personale molto scarso, fate voi i calcoli, passerete tutta la serata al ristorante. Perciò per le bevande, se volete berle fresche, chiedete di portarle assieme ai piatti. Le pizze sono buone, ma non più come una volta. Tra l'altro la mia "vizio Antico", rispetto ad allora, l'ho trovata più piccola e senza il basilico. Fortuna non hanno eliminato la burrata al centro ... Insomma, se volete rovinarvi la serata andate pure la sera di luglio o agosto. In altri periodi magari sarete più fortunati. P.S.: scrivo in ritardo questa recensione perché non volevo agire d'impulso. Ho trovato ora l'annotazione sul mio cellulare e ho pensato di condividerla qui.

15/09/2024: Posticino informale nella piazzetta di Marciana Marina. Prodotti buoni, nella norma …. Niente di particolare. Siamo stati sia a pranzo che a cena. Servizio da migliorare.

08/03/2025: Terrible service. We asked a dark-skinned boy a couple of times what we wanted to consume and we felt neglected, having to repeat what we wanted a couple of times. We are Spanish, however at other tables the service was normal, asking and looking while you order. We didn't even feel a glance when ordering our drinks, when asking for the bill for more of the same. Very excessive prices. I don't recommend it. 4 lemons, one cut and water, add it €30

05/02/2025: El comedor es pequeño, pero merece la pena esperar si no tienen hueco cuando llegas. Cocina riquísima y platos bastantes generosos a muy buen precio. La carbonara espectacular.

08/03/2025: Non vale il posto, piatti della tradizione ma spesso serviti freddi o comunque non alla giusta temperatura; trippa con patate dura; il resto di livello medio con un rapporto qualità/prezzo non all'altezza. Da rivedere

20/02/2025: Ci fermavamo in questo locale, dopo aver girato un po’ ovunque a farci un ammazzacaffè prima di rientrare in albergo e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ottima grappa e Vinsanto super (tanto che mi son fatta dire la cantina e me lo sono andata a comprare!). Locale tranquillo (almeno nel periodo in cui ci sono stata io), situato nella bellissima piazza di Greve, pulito, personale cordiale e molto gentile e prezzi nella norma. Se torno da quelle parti, ci ritorno di sicuro! Consigliato.

15/02/2025: Hello 🥲 Too much to say, the whole restaurant is a mess. 1.5 hours of waiting to have dishes that are almost pitifully cold, don't serve if you don't have the capacity to serve 60 place settings!!! You open a restaurant but you don't know how to manage it properly, too bad there is good potential!! there was a rather nice waitress, who managed all the completely lost employees…the worst organization of all the restaurants I have been to!! We were served small plates to take away when the dishes were ready (waste of time) the dishes were sent 10 minutes at a time so the 3 of us ate staggered! We went through the toilets it's not toilets 😬 bidets for WC office and of course there is no water anywhere so hygiene levels 0... we went through the checkout with an elderly lady who couldn't manage everything all the employees were shouting at each other... the lady barely calculated and gave us the receipt with €7.50 for service 😱. Well apparently the owners prefer not to question themselves and try to improve, they prefer to defend themselves and respond to everyone on Google but in the meantime the restaurant is not moving forward!! And no improvement will be taken into account!!!! Run away and go eat at the McDonald’s next door in Pisa, it’s not worth it 🙁
