02/11/2025: Among the restaurants on Ortigia, we were pleasantly surprised here too. The portions are large, the waiting time and service are average. Let's look at the dishes. Spaghetti carbonara - the sauce was too thin and salty for us, we would rate it 3.5/5. Fritti fish mix - 5/5, the portion is enough for 2 people (according to our appetite). The fish was tender, octopus and squid were in the right consistency and quantity. We couldn't even finish it, so we asked for a takeaway box. They were attentive and didn't forget to put the lemon in it. Veal with lemon and orange - 4/5, the texture of the veal was not bad, but it didn't stand out. The sauce - although it was strange to us - was tasty. We will visit them again for lunch next time, and try the other dishes. The table next to us had boiled mussels, which were also very nicely served. Oh, and the bill is also more favorable than in the interior of the island or even in the market.

Excellent food, an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, and the two owners are incredibly sweet and always smiling. The dishes cater to all tastes, including many vegan options. The father and another sister are in the kitchen, and everything is family-run, using excellent local products. The quality-price ratio is always excellent. An absolute must-see for a culinary experience in the Val di Noto! 10 out of 10

20/10/2025: Our ravioli and caponata infused with cacao from Modica comprised one of the best meals we have ever eaten in Sicily! The service was friendly, generous, and kind. 22/09/2025: Grazie per tutti Gabriele and team. I rocked up a little.lost after days at sea and an unexpected disembarkement. I was brought to this lovely hotel and restaurant by a helpful and friendly delivery driver who found me stranded with no phone data, Italian language or Euros! :) Its been my home for 4 days and they have been so helpful. Looked after me, helped me.woth immigration technicalities, driven me places and printed off tickets for onward travel im case my phone runs out on my long, and somewhat uncertain journey ahead. Aswell as all that, beautifully located and delicious food and drink. 🙏🦪
