05/01/2025: Locale inserito in una torre con pochi tavoli ,abbiamo cenato seguendo i consigli della ragazza gentilissima ed abbiamo condiviso un valido antipasto misto di pesce ed anche le altre portate a base di pesce si sono rivelate all' altezza di 5 stelle. Consigliatissimo!

05/01/2025: We are not vegans, but today we wanted to try this type of cuisine. We trusted the excellent reviews and we weren't wrong. The Moon offers cuisine with dishes that are distant from our way of understanding food, but it didn't make us regret it at all. Tasty dishes, prepared with skill and with quality natural products, served with all the information possible. And on the products used, and on the way to consume them with much appreciated goodies provided by Andrea. Excellent, friendly and competent service always ready to satisfy any need. You can have lunch/dinner both inside and outside. The interior is made up of a period room furnished with simplicity but taste. It's a shame that some humidity infiltrations have, in several places, ruined the plaster, the reason for the 4 stars under the environment heading. Excellent desserts and an excellent alternative to traditional cuisine. I recommend it

Then the service: Maurizio is unique, he explains each dish in its particularities, precisely because it is about transferring emotions and experiences to those who taste it. Finally, the dishes: delicious, start from tradition to innovate and amaze. A must for anyone who goes to Ortigia, you can't miss it.

08/01/2025: The food was OK, but certainly not 5 star. The staff were not friendly at all and looked at us as if we were planning to steal something. Almost as if they couldn't wait for us to leave. I honestly have to say it wasn't a pleasant evening and I wouldn't go back.

05/01/2025: A spectacular dinner, first of all highly recommended for those who have problems with gluten and then an explosion of flavors that positively surprised us. Absolutely not to be missed is the red sauté of larded mussels and "cudduruni" which is not the usual hand-licking sauté. We also had the really good double-cooked octopus and the Spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, Etna buffalo stracciatella, egg cream and sea urchin pulp and I'll tell you how delicious it is. Truly not to be missed.

19/10/2024: Group dinner but even though I was the only vegan I was offered a really good pumpkin soup, pan-fried chard with dried tomato and the inevitable caponata! Considering the average restaurant, I appreciated that they didn't offer the usual grilled vegetables as a starter! The talent is there, I recommend insisting on vegetables! 😁 Pizza just as good!

19/11/2024: I had the pleasure of having lunch in the restaurant and it was a nice culinary experience worth repeating. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was impeccable. The menu was typical and the portions generous. The ingredients were of quality. I recommend the Chapeau restaurant to all lovers of Italian cuisine

17/11/2024: Nice little restaurant with a rich menu including several pasta dishes. Prices are fair, unfortunately there is hardly any knowledge of English but everything is still served correctly I would love to come back, there were three of us

30/12/2024: The sea urchin spaghetti is very delicious. It's not too rich or greasy, and it has a strong sea urchin flavor. The octopus salad with lemon flavor and not too sour is also delicious.
