27/10/2024: Buone le pizze, abbiamo preso 4 pizze diverse e siamo rimasti tutti soddisfatti. Consiglio di provarle non rimarrete delusi l'unico punto dolente il locale un po' angusto ma pulito.

29/09/2024: ci siamo imbattuti in questa pizzeria per caso, l'odore che arrivava per strada ci ha attirati, e non abbiamo sbagliato, ottima pizza, ottima accoglienza, pizze particolari e buonissime, anche fredda la pizza è stata morbidissima. prezzi nella norma.

13/10/2024: Great street restaurant in terms of atmosphere. The starter (home made scaccia which is a typical Sicilian dish) was a bit in the dry side which cost them a star from me. As a main we had the Ricotta Ravioli (see picture) which were very yummy. We dared to drink their house red wine which I wouldn’t repeat. Price was very reasonable but we also went very light on the ordering

17/09/2024: We have just returned to our apartment and have just come from the tavern (because! We are indeed not tourists but residents of Sicily. Belgians who have moved in. ) Terrible experience. Downright disgusting. Starter was cold. Meat did not taste fresh. Slightly warmed up from the previous day as leftovers on our plate. This arrived literally seconds after we ordered. How on earth could this have been prepared??? Main course mixed grill was spoiled, not well done. The only things that went in were the salt-fried potatoes and the bread. This main course came first, my wife had to wait 10 minutes longer. There was no one inside the restaurant. What if this restaurant is full???? The pasta tasted terrible. Not eaten. Just heated it up in the microwave because we even heard it go off. The only thing that still went in was our coke and Sprite Moreover, we paid 47 euros for just coke, sprite, water and bread. The rest was completely inedible, and we do not understand why this restaurant/tavern has so many good ???? Gets reviews. Fake? SO WE WILL NEVER COME BACK and do not recommend this to our Sicilian friends/family.

29/03/2025: Prenotato con the fork. Esperienza decisamente consigliata. Innanzitutto location da dieci e lode: il refettorio del convento con gli affreschi coevi è una sala ristorante deliziosa, bella la mise en place. Si è scelto il menu degustazione "frati contadini". Ottimo l'antipasto e il secondo

16/02/2025: Ristorante in una location molto suggestiva, silenziosa, pulita e ben curata. Piatti della tradizione rivisitati e ben presentati, piacevoli e gustosi. Bella idea quella di includere nel coperto una porzione di olio locale di ottima qualità da gustare con del buon pane. Ottimi il servizio e la carta dei vini. Il titolare è stato molto gentile. Consiglio la torta dei frati con gelato alla vaniglia.

17/01/2025: We discovered this place a few years back and loved it. The huge selection of often creative toppings, the options for different bases (standard, wholemeal, gluten free etc) plus its position in the piazza made it a favourite of our whole family for a couple of years. But boy has it gone downhill. Service is just appalling: yesterday evening we waited 45 minutes for a bottle of water and a lemon soda, let alone our pizzas. Last visit was the same: we languished inside for a good hour before receiving our pizzas and then one was missing. We had to chase waiters to pay our bill and almost walked out out of frustration. There aren't nearly enough staff and those who there are are surly, unhelpful and seemingly untrained. It's clear no one is in charge. There is now only one pizza base available: standard white flour. Pizza was fine but certainly nothing special. Last night was the last straw and we have given up. No groovy branding and menu is enough to make up for Pura Follia's shortcomings, especially as there are plenty of great pizzerie in Scicli and the surrounding area.

28/12/2024: Go on your way! Despite the very cozy lobby and the great Google ratings, the pizzas were simply inedible! The egg and sausage pizza is with hard boiled eggs and knakis. Vegetable not fresh and acidic Nobody finished their pizza
