09/03/2026: Authentic Modica cuisine, the name aptly reflects the lost flavors. I've returned to the tastes of 50 years ago. Flavors that had been lost over the years. Must try for yourself. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: I visited Osteria Dei Sapori Perduti and was truly impressed. The special appetizer was beautiful and prepared with authentic ingredients, with old-fashioned aromas that hark back to true tradition. A special compliment to Oriana, who was very kind and professional. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended! 👏

09/01/2026: An institution. Unique, the quality of the ingredients is evident, and the attention to detail and cleanliness are testament to meticulous, disciplined work. The pizza dough is truly unique. Kudos to Massimo and the entire team. And if you happen to have to wait during peak hours, it's always worth it in the end.

12/11/2025: Delicious pizza, thin and dry dough despite the fior di latte mozzarella. Overall, the pizza is light and tasty. Last but not least, you can't taste the yeast or fermented dough (which I've unfortunately found in many pizzerias). So what can I say? Excellent pizza, and above all, at super affordable prices.

21/10/2025: The "Santa Maria" bakery is a must-visit not only for its delicious homemade bread, baked daily by Mr. Iemmolo, but also for enjoying the delicious local biscuits. The highlight is undoubtedly the delicious impanatiglie, a typical Modica dessert. We were greeted by Mr. Iemmolo's daughters, Grazia and Valentina, who were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and always ready to recommend the most tempting products. Highly recommended

09/02/2026: The food was decent and the value was good. I had a better memory of the restaurant, a memory from about 10 years ago. I found the stuffed rib steak unpleasant; the ricotta ravioli with sauce were good; the ricotta cannoli had too much cinnamon, where I would have liked a more distinct flavor of the ricotta.

The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable: ultra-fresh fish enhanced by innovative dishes and surprising combinations, masterfully combining technique and flavor. Beyond the excellence of the food, I truly appreciated the atmosphere: it's a quiet, intimate, and relaxing place, perfect for fully enjoying the evening. The attention to detail truly makes the difference, both in the elegant presentation of each course and in the service. Compliments to the entire staff, a well-deserved 5 stars. We'll be back soon!

28/10/2025: I was with friends strolling around Marina di Modica. Despite the late hour, we noticed the place was packed, so we chose it as our spot. They quickly set us up at a table, even though it was on the roadside but well-located. We chose a little bit of everything, from pizza to fish, to pasta dishes, accompanied by a good, authentic Sicilian Grillo. We chose the pizza with the fried fish of the day as an appetizer, and everything arrived quickly. Afterwards, we moved on to the first and second courses, from the peppered mussels to the pasta and fish. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place, although the price can be a bit higher depending on what you choose.

01/02/2026: The family-run inn is surrounded by nature, a wonderful and peaceful place. The 18th-century setting, enhanced by a beautiful fireplace inside, is charming and renovated respecting the authenticity of the structure. The owners are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. Excellent food.

22/02/2026: You don't often find a little gem, and when you do, there is always some reservation in sharing the information in case notoriety somehow spoils or changes what you've found. Emporio Caccamo is one of those places, with charming, simple, eclectic decor friendly and attentive srvice from Santo, and excellent people in the kitchen serving delicious, well prepared and thoughtful dishes with something to please everyone. I see people hesitate at the door wondering what it will be like from the specials board - if I have a chance, I becon them is as I bet you will!

09/02/2026: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PIZZERIA (to be listed on TheFork). This pizzeria has been in the area for many years. The pizza has always been good, and the owners and staff have always been kind and professional. The management recently changed hands, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the new, always friendly and attentive staff, the delicious antipasto (a Neapolitan specialty), and the delicious pizza. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. I hope the quality continues. I'll be back soon.
