29/10/2025: This seafood restaurant is highly recommended online and by acquaintances, but it's a bit overrated. The appetizers were plentiful, but, aside from the octopus, they were mediocre. The tomato flavor of the fregola pasta overpowered the seafood. The service was quick, but the interior was very crowded and noisy.

25/10/2025: We had lunch here and I can't understand the rave reviews, but everyone has their own tastes. They begged us for appetizers: we were served a sardine (half each) and a first course that left us wanting. Terrible value for money. As they say: we've put a stop to it! NEVER AGAIN.

08/03/2026: What arrived at the table didn't match what was ordered. One steak arrived cold and practically raw, the other side dish was half of what was listed on the menu, and they had used supermarket bacon.

22/10/2025: A week in the beautiful October Italian sun. This hotel is every bit as good as advertised. The welcome and genuine warmth of our hosts was simply perfect. This hotel has an authentic family feel, everyone truly cares and does everything they can to make sure their guests have a flawless stay. The breakfast, in a beautiful room ’pool side’ is great. Take a look at the hotel’s website, the ‘tropical’ feel is exactly as you imagine it to be from their photos. The location is also perfect… You can park your car just a few metres along the road, the same road that just an 800M stroll will take you to a beautiful beach, or in the opposite direction into the village where there are so many restaurants to choose from, lots of bars, a couple of supermarkets, a pharmacy… not to mention the gelato outlets..! This place has it all. If you have a car, and I’d recommend it, there are some breathtaking roads along the coast.. the views simply outstanding. If you are looking for a base in southern Sardinia, look no further than Hotel Su Sergenti. It’s perfect. Thank you to the team here for a wonderful stay in your beautiful hotel.

12/10/2025: A great hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are consistently courteous and excellent at their jobs. The parking lot is a few steps away and can be opened with the room card. We would definitely book there again. The only thing is that the €25 beach chair with a towel is a bit pricey.

12/03/2026: Three of us stopped by for lunch. A quick break. We enjoyed two rib-eye menus and a burger menu. They were really good, nice and large, with generous sides. The meat was very tender and delicious. The staff was kind and available for any request. Highly recommended.

12/03/2026: We've been coming here for years but today I had something different, a hamburger and fries, good, good, good, completely satisfied.

24/02/2026: Christian Collu has created a truly enchanting place with Machrì al Mare. Directly opposite the 1000-year-old pilgrimage church of Sant Efisio, a culinary epicenter for Pula has emerged. On one side, a pizzeria and café; on the other, creative fine dining just shy of Michelin-starred status. Enjoy sea views from the terrace on one side and views of the lagoon and the mountain range on the other. The decor is stylish and tasteful, though the visual and acoustic separation between the kitchen and service areas could use some improvement. The cuisine is creative and showcases the full spectrum of new, fresh Sardinian dishes. A must-try!

26/10/2025: Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. We ate a delicious mullet carpaccio with bottarga, followed by black rice with octopus flavored with fish broth. Perfect flavors from start to finish. A lime sorbet to finish. A very generous limoncello spritz. 2 glasses of a local white wine full of character. Everything is just right in the flavors and cooking. All for 70 euros per person, which seemed justified to us.

17/10/2025: Overall, it was poor; the waiters don't remember who ordered what. The food was mediocre, and the seafood pasta was too salty.

09/10/2025: Highly recommended. Very good service, excellent food. The ambiance is perfect. So far, the best restaurant in town. If you want to sit on the roof terrace, it's best to make a reservation in advance.

11/08/2025: Très bon restaurant, nous y étions en famille, le personnel a été très gentil et attentionné avec nous et nos enfants, pas de menu enfants mais ils ont fait un plat spécialement pour eux, Le service a été assez rapide et les plats délicieux, Je recommande

08/08/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato a Quartu Sant’Elena per una settima e abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante per ben tre volte. Abbiamo sempre mangiato pesce e la qualità dei piatti era veramente altissima. Disponibili molti piatti senza glutine o comunque riadattabili. Il personale era molto attento alla celiachia oltre ad essere molto professionali e simpatici, ma non invadenti. Consigliatissimo!! Piatto secondo me più buono: pasta con astice!

13/10/2025: The location is fairly average and the service friendly, nothing to complain about, but when it came to the bill, I was in for a nasty surprise. We ate mixed meat appetizers, shared meat first courses, and suckling pig, spending over €70 each. With house wine. Exorbitantly priced.

07/03/2026: Neighborhood bar, close to several popular spots in the city. I don't know what it was like years ago, but as of March 7, 2026, the experience is disappointing. First, and most important, factor: the food. Savoury: I can't fully judge it, since I only bought a "leavened" pizza (I'm quoting their name), but I'm not sure what was leavened (to be honest, I can't joke about "the price," since, all things considered, it wasn't very expensive). Dessert: What can I say? It was definitely fried without regard for the oil temperature (so it absorbed a lot of oil and released it during the tasting). The cream cannoli was like any industrial pastry. The white chocolate shell was good (it's a shame it wasn't very filling). Lactose-free cappuccino: I have to say, good but unpretentious. Staff: The waiter who served us was super friendly, kind, and helpful! Atmosphere: We sat at the outdoor tables, which aren't particularly well-kept, but I'm giving this a 4-star rating because I don't mind the inside; it seems like a nice gathering place for local friends and family.

20/02/2026: Unclear opening hours and sometimes late. Cold bread. Nice atmosphere but overlapping reservations and sometimes crowded. Not recommended.

11/02/2026: €102 bill for four dishes and eight glasses of wine. Judge for yourself whether it was fair to charge us by the glass even though we had drunk the bottle. There was little transparency and honesty. The food was acceptable in terms of portions and flavor. The service was pushy throughout the evening. Three different people served us at our table; one of them, who also gave us the bill, I found rude and incapable of conveying a love for what she does.

05/10/2025: The food was poor, the portions were small, and the service was pushy and downright unpleasant. I paid 32 euros for four shrimp—mediocre, according to the waitress. If they want to see a real seafood restaurant, they should come to Poland. I've never been to such a poor and dishonest restaurant in Italy. Not good for a restaurant in a seaside resort. I've been to many places, but here I felt like a cheated tourist.

11/11/2025: I'm reviewing the restaurant. Upon arrival, we saw a queue, which was a good omen. We were quickly seated for our four adults and a child. We had to wait a while for our pizza and calzone, but considering the restaurant was fully booked and the table turnover was high, it wasn't surprising. It was worth the wait; both the pizza and calzone were excellent, one of the best calzones I've ever tasted. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu and ice cream for my son; he loved it, and the waitress even gave him a cup with Buggs Bunny on it, which he was delighted with. The tiramisu was also first-rate.

22/10/2025: We only ate at the restaurant. The food was delicious and served quickly. The service was efficient.

12/03/2026: Maybe the best see food restaurant in the wider area. Highly recommended. I especially was happy to find it because I am on a see food diet: I see food, I eat the food.

08/12/2025: We spontaneously decided to eat there in October. We hadn't made a reservation, but since it was already the off-season, they still had a table for us. The owner is very friendly. The service was generally good too. I think because our Italian wasn't very good, they kept their conversation to a minimum. I imagine staff are more communicative when they realize you speak the language. But overall, there's nothing to complain about. The food was absolutely delicious. We'd gladly come back if we're ever in the area again.
