07/05/2025: Eaten delicious fresh seafood and fresh fish from the grill. Ingredients are beautifully pure. Jacamo is a great host. During dinner you are surrounded by a beautiful garden. Nothing to complain about our visit. If you're in the area, don't miss it.

30/05/2025: A wonderful stay in this beautiful Masseria, featuring a superb restaurant and a magnificent spa. The staff is lovely and very attentive. A special mention goes to the wine tasting offered by Paolo, with wonderful historical explanations about the region.

08/06/2025: Awesome and delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable price. Very kind waiters. This is definitely a Must-visit place in Otranto. Not gonna lie, this is the best restraunt I have visited in Italy including Roma.

08/06/2025: Day 7 in Italy, the food I ate in Italy was the most delicious!! The pasta wasn't salty at all and was very well seasoned. The mussels were fresh and there were a lot of them. The waiters and the owner were all very kind, so I had a great meal. I recommend it!!

03/06/2025: The restaurant, located in the heart of Otranto, is very well-kept. The service was impeccable and the dishes met expectations: particularly appreciated were the burratina, served on a frisa base and topped with cherry tomatoes, rocket and capers, and the orecchiette with cherry tomatoes and caciocavallo.

27/05/2025: Some friends who stayed in Salento before us recommended this place to us, and I must say that the experience was excellent!! You can see the care in the choice of dishes and the combination of ingredients that was definitely studied, nothing improvised. The plating is so refined that it looks like a painting! The service was really attentive, the guys were kind and present without ever being intrusive, making us feel at ease throughout the evening. A place that I recommend for a nice dinner in the beautiful Otranto.

29/05/2025: We were traveling with our 2 year old. In our hotel, they recommended us to visit the mini zoo. We drove through the gate, and as soon as we entered, a woman came to us and told us in the most unfriendly way that we were not welcome. The zoo was only for guests. We proposed to pay, but there was no option. It was mainly the tone and attitude of the person who chased us away that took us by surprise. A place like this should be welcoming, especially if young parents with a two year old toddler arrives. A toddler who’s excited to see the animals, and who left the place in tears.

My suite, in particular, was a true sanctuary of luxury, culminating in the splendid indoor heated pool that transformed every moment into an oasis of relaxation and well-being. Imagine immersing yourself in warm waters with the sea breeze caressing your skin... a true dream! But what made this stay even more special was the exceptional welcome and professionalism of Ms. Germana and the entire staff. Each member of the team, with a sincere smile and impeccable dedication, went out of their way to anticipate our every need, making us feel not just like simple guests, but like true friends. Their attention to detail, kindness and helpfulness were simply admirable and added an inestimable value to the entire experience. It is rare to find a property of such prestige that manages to combine stunning luxury with such a warm and familiar atmosphere. Masseria Dei Monaci is not just a place to stay, but a complete sensory experience that regenerates body and spirit. A heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Germana and all the staff for making this weekend a precious memory. I can't wait to return to this corner of paradise!

09/05/2025: my comments are in the details below, I really liked the place but what really bothered me was the reception at 12:30 p.m. when we arrived only to leave the luggage, we knew very well that the room was available only from 3 p.m., twice in a row we were told (on the intercom and in person that the room will not be ready until 3 p.m.), the tone was neither friendly and even less hospitable. Likewise, the way a person at the reception shouted behind a customer on the patio that pool towels should not leave the establishment, this was absolutely not pleasant to hear. on the other hand, your establishment is magnificent, it is not worth everything, in my personal opinion THANKS
