04/09/2025: We've traveled extensively throughout Puglia, but we've never seen a place like this! A perfect week... beautiful, immaculately clean property, professional yet simple and welcoming staff, as only true homeowners can be. Superb and varied breakfast, heavenly pool... in short, absolutely everything was top-notch.

03/09/2025: I had dinner at the masseria. What can I say? It was a charming place, the staff were kind and attentive, and the service impeccable. A special mention for the monkfish Wellington, which was truly delicious. I wanted to thank PierPaolo for the attentive service and for his friendliness and kindness. Highly recommended!

08/09/2025: An elegant and refined venue, combining a refined atmosphere with excellent cuisine. Dishes are prepared with the highest quality ingredients, presented with taste and attention to detail. An excellent choice for experiencing Otranto with a touch of class and authentic flavor.

09/09/2025: We ate here quite late on our first night in Puglia. We had spaghetto and orecchiette, both superb and staff were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend!

29/08/2025: Even though we hadn't booked, they seated us very quickly. We ordered a salmon appetizer to share, which was delicious and plentiful, and two octopus carbonaras, both truly excellent! Good wine selection, quick and friendly service. Beautiful location. Prices are a bit high.

28/08/2025: Despite the superb setting, I managed to leave this restaurant disappointed. All the food served was frozen and tasteless. Very disappointing given the high price...

17/08/2025: Escape Milan to finally enjoy pure hospitality and good food. You'll fall in love with the romantic atmosphere in Otranto's historic center. Rocco's attentive service will amaze you. A truly Otranto treat, far from the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend any seafood dish, from the purple shrimp to the caramelized octopus. A continuous explosion of flavors, course after course.

01/09/2025: Terra Nostra restaurant is conveniently located on the road leading to the center of Otranto. The atmosphere is informal. Regarding the food, the quality is good. The dishes are well-prepared, with fresh ingredients that make for a pleasant dining experience. The cuisine is honest and never disappoints, even if it doesn't reach the pinnacle of excellence. In my opinion, the quality-price ratio is a bit unbalanced, especially regarding the price! This doesn't affect my rating: when paying, I asked the owner to round up to the nearest 0.60 cents a total of more than €100. The owner said NO. Not very friendly...

14/08/2025: After careful review on where to stay, we decided on Masseria Dei Monaci. The photos looked beautiful and the surrounding serene. And the pictures were true, the grounds were lovely and the rooms were beautiful too. However, when entering, what we didn’t realize is the Masseria is 1 foot away from a very busy highway. So if you don’t mind the sounds of fast cars and Vespa’s going by 24hrs per day then you will be okay. Sitting by the pool is lovely, but again, the sounds of highway traffic take away from the relaxation and beauty. Another note worth mentioning and was quite disappointing was the mattress in our suite. It was a very thin mattress with all the springs visible which made for a very uncomfortable 5 nights. The breakfast is worth mentioning and was good. Overall, a disappointing stay on what was a truly exceptional holiday.

05/07/2025: "If you remain silent while eating, it means it's good" Modern place, well-kept and clean environments. Alessandro and all his staff are formidable. The menu offers local products and very fresh fish. Good wine list. Original and expertly studied combinations. We appreciated the purple shrimp tartare with its sauces, the burrata, the fresh pasta filled with grouper and roasted cherry tomatoes, then arriving at the grilled shrimp and scampi, finishing with a decidedly sublime chocolate, rum and orange dessert. We left with a smile after dinner and with a wonderful memory to take home. Retro Gusto ABSOLUTELY recommended! Thanks Alessandro, Marco and Silvia (Milan)

02/09/2025: I stayed with my family from August 20th to 27th. A simply wonderful, fantastic location, super quiet and well-maintained in every aspect. Absolutely excellent location for nearby Otranto and the nearby beaches of Salento. Giusy and Giuseppe, like all the staff, are exceptional people, always present and available. They make you feel at ease from the first moment. It's hard to find a flaw. The pool is superb, the rooms are spacious and always clean... breakfast, well, what can I say? Their products are top-quality. Wonderful holiday. We will return, but in a few days. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

19/08/2025: Superb location! Superbly maintained park! Impeccable cleanliness Great breakfast! Great pool! Super convenient pool bar! Small downside: the swimming caps! Anything else to say... We'll be back!

30/06/2025: El restaurante está situado justo enfrente del castillo en el casco antiguo de Otranto. El comedor interior es un poco estrecho, así que optamos por el Wintergarden, que ofrece un poco más de espacio. La comida está muy bien presentada y muy imaginativa. Comenzamos con anchoas adobadas servidas con achicoria y mermelada de naranja, una combinación inusual que funciona sorprendentemente bien. A continuación, tuvimos los espaguetis de erizo de mar, que era excepcional. El servicio fue impecable. Es un lugar muy conocido entre los lugareños, así que si estás planeando una visita, asegúrate de hacer una reserva, especialmente por la noche. Los precios son más altos, pero los ingredientes son increíblemente frescos y los platos absolutamente deliciosos.

25/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato in un ambiente poco confortevole ,e siamo stati un po’ isolati dalla cameriera .Sembrava quasi che la nostra presenza non era gradita .A chiudere la cena si è presentato uno grosso scarafaggio proveniente dal soffitto che girava intorno al tavolo. Il personale sembra abituato forse a scene come queste ,hanno schiacciato l’insetto e raccolto . Tutto è tornato nella normalità ,ma noi siamo andati via un po’ infastiditi ,tutto può accadere ma almeno ci aspettavamo le scuse .Sicuramente non ci torneremo. Qualità del cibo discreta per il prezzo pagato.
