16/02/2025: The kindness and service of this place are the best thing. The starters are good, the classics par excellence in Ceglie. but I don't recommend the former.

09/03/2025: Lots of smoke, nice location, fake polite staff, and very little expensive roast.
We order spaghetti with seafood. Here comes a portion worthy of the best Fantozzian diets which they define as "al dente" but in reality it is simply raw. I ask to redo the dish and it comes back 3 minutes later: clearly they have finished cooking it in the pan but making it even more bland and mediocre. The seasoning is lacking with 2 clams, 1 mussel and little else on a trip from the freezer. On the other hand, the price could finance a food program in Africa. Maybe they think they are on the French Riviera and not on the outskirts of Savelletri.
The fried seafood, on the other hand, was well done but still exorbitantly priced compared to what was offered. I don't want to sound too fussy, but for €22 I would try adding something to the calamari and prawns. Who knows, maybe a cod, hoping they don't go bankrupt.
€6 for 2 fingers of cheap prosecco and the clear feeling of being snubbed just because we spent 80 euros for 2 first courses and a fried dish.
I fear that too many years of "4 restaurants" have made some people go to their heads.
09/03/2025: I was attracted to this restaurant by the very favorable reviews.
I'm sorry to say that I was quite disappointed as nothing met my expectations.
You can also accept paying well above average for a first-year hotel restaurant dish, but at least the quality and execution must be up to par. You can also use the best ingredients, but if you humiliate them you have done the job wrong.
I will not recommend this restaurant

Rijdend langs de kust waren we op zoek naar een restaurant, de hoeveelheid auto's getuigde van een vol restaurant, maar gelukkig kregen we nog een plekje (binnen) maar met uitzicht op zee.
Het is het seizoen van de zee-egels (ricci) en die werden hier rijkelijk opgediend. Ik had gisteren al ricci gehad en op de vraag bruscetta zeiden we ja, die was ronduit zalig met onder andere ansjovis. Dan maar een wijntje van het huis en een arrosta pesce per due.
Heerlijk maar inderdaad scampi, inktvis en octopus is net iets te weinig gevarieerd, de dolce tartufo blanco con caffè is heerlijk.Leuk restaurant, super authentiek Italiaans en zware bewondering voor de bediening die zich de venen uit het lijf redt.
16/03/2025: Abbiamo deciso di recarci in questo ristorante considerata la bella location sul mare e senza alcuna pretesa estetica.. estetica no, ma il cibo?
Portate di crudo (se così si vuole definire) buttate nel piatto come se fossimo dei cani randagi in cerca degli scarti, scampi e gamberi appena scongelati quindi praticamente duri, ricci buoni (forse l’unica cosa). La frittura non male ma i primi… Dio mio… se mi mettessi a cucinare con gli occhi chiusi mi verrebbero meglio!
Parliamo di un ristorante sul mare e che cucina pesce.
Concludiamo il tutto con caffè e un amaro ovviamente nemmeno offerti per pagare 90,00€ a persona! Che rapina!
Sicuramente la nostra faccia l’hanno vista e possono dimenticarla!
Cambiate lavoro perché il pesce, forse, potete solo pescarlo!!

11/10/2024: Este lugar era horrible. Mala comida, mal servicio y caro. Intenté cobrarnos por beber que nunca recibimos. Bonito entorno, pero siente que se están aprovechando. Sobre mejillones cocidos. El camarero dijo que quería la temporada. BS He tenido grandes mejillones repetidamente
30/09/2024: Compartimos un maravilloso entrante de marisco mixto de salmón ahumado, atún y pez espada.
Entonces cada una de nuestras líneas principales era buena, aunque mi ternera “mediana” fue enviada de vuelta para un poco más de cocina!
El personal estaba encantado de que mi marido y amigo hablan un poco de italiano y mucha información se dio sobre los posibles vinos antes de elegir una botella.
Una comida encantadora en un restaurante encantador.

29/09/2024: Siamo stati a cena con un gruppo di amici. All’arrivo ci chiedono se vogliamo stare fuori o dentro. La serata lo permetteva, quindi abbiamo scelto di stare fuori, ma non avremmo mai pensato che “fuori” significasse stare in mezzo a una strada con tavoli, sedie in plastica e un coperto discutibile. Io, in particolare, ero in bilico tra marciapiede e asfalto, rendendo non poco scomoda la seduta.
Volevamo un antipasto, ma non c’era. Ci sono solo portate singole, ad esempio capocollo, polpette, ecc., al modico prezzo di 10-12 euro a portata. Ci adeguiamo e ordiniamo. Le portate sono da considerare sufficienti per una persona. Un piatto in particolare ci ha lasciato perplessi: zucchine fritte in pastella, 10€. Anche gli altri piatti non erano adeguati al prezzo, ma le zucchine erano scandalose.
La ciliegina sulla torta è arrivata quando nelle polpette con sugo si è palesato un capello incastonato nella polpetta. Piatto mandato indietro e non voluto più. Il filetto era buono, ma erano sì e no 300 grammi per 25€. Arriva il conto e il piatto mandato indietro non era presente. Amari e grappe offerti, ma c’era un coperto in più che non abbiamo contestato. Pagato e adios, a mai più.

Non è possibile che rimanga in lista fuorviando i clienti.
La Taverna di Pascalone è un bel ricordo di un passato che non ritornerà ed è giusto prenderne atto.

06/01/2025: Posto molto carino, il cibo buono e ben impiattato. Simpatico ed educato lo staff. Abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere Lucia e Nina, ci hanno consigliato e coccolato durante il nostro pranzo. Da tornarci!

17/12/2023: We called at 11.30am to book a table for 4 people and they gave us availability for 1.30pm. Once we arrived, at 1.24pm, we were told that they had a mix-up with the reservations and sent us away. They wanted to apologize saying they were about to call us on the phone and let us know. They wanted to inform us 5 minutes before the booking time that it was not possible to eat there, well... I advise you not to rely on the availability given during the call.

Piatti tipici buonissimi grazie allo chef Alessandro che ci ha accolti con simpatia e professionalità !
