18/10/2025: I booked with The Fork a full 8 days in advance, arrived right on time after traveling 25 km, but was told they had to cancel the reservation because the restaurant was full and that if I wanted I could wait for a table to become available!!! Nothing like this has ever happened in all these years! "Didn't you see the email?".... I checked and in fact they had even had the forethought to notify me AT 8:14 PM, when I was already on my way. Shamelessly mocking a customer in this way (did you assign my table to some "friend"? And why did you only realize the restaurant was full 45 minutes before the reservation and not in the last 8 days?) just because you don't have the skills to properly manage a public place, not feeling the slightest need to apologize for the mix-up or try to fix it in any way, and being rude to potential customers who will obviously give bad reviews and speak even worse of your poor management is definitely not a good calling card. But that's okay, there's no need to be considerate of those who were so eager to spend a couple of hours at your place in peace with friends, convinced they'd eat well and trusting the many positive reviews of those who weren't unfortunate enough to find it "full" despite having made a reservation ages ago.

20/08/2025: A well-designed place where everything is top-notch and the staff is very friendly! The service is excellent and fast, and its location is very strategic, right in the town square and center! Five stars might seem like an understatement! Highly recommended!

10/11/2025: I was invited to an 18th birthday party, and we loved everything! In fact, I gave 5 stars for everything, but 4 stars conservatively because I don't know the prices and, therefore, the quality-to-price ratio... Otherwise, I highly recommend it. I particularly recommend the crudo dish, with shrimp, oysters, and other bivalves—spectacular even for those who aren't used to raw seafood.

16/10/2025: I had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant. We arrived right at 7:30 PM when it just opened, on a very cold evening. We were the first customers of the night, and the restaurant was completely empty inside. However, when we asked for a table, the waitress told us that only outdoor seating was available — even though there were plenty of empty tables indoors. After leaving, we checked online and saw that there were still many open tables available at that time. As Asian customers, it was very hard not to feel that we were treated differently because of our race. Being denied indoor seating while the restaurant clearly had space felt humiliating and discriminatory. This is not just poor service — it is racism. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and should not happen anywhere. I truly hope the management takes this seriously and ensures no one else has to experience such racist treatment again.

11/10/2025: A surprising food and wine journey into the heart of Puglia in Fasano. As a winemaker and food and wine expert, I'm rarely so impressed by a dining experience in the area. At the Ardecuore Restaurant, I had a simply impeccable evening, where every detail was attended to with passion and expertise. The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite: clear, authentic flavors, never masked, but enhanced by a cuisine that respects and elevates each ingredient. The appetizer menu was a crescendo of balance and creativity, while two dishes in particular won me over: a rare elegance and balance of spaghetti with white truffle and a perfectly executed Pigeon Reale, intense, evocative (with an exceptional carob sauce), and juicy. Paired with a 2017 Le Braci, an absolute icon of Puglia's winemaking tradition, served at the perfect temperature and complemented by a surprising wine list that showcases a Puglia beyond the usual clichés, with bold and highly valuable choices. Honorable mention goes to the spirits list, a true gem for enthusiasts and connoisseurs: not everyone has a Caroni on the list, and that speaks volumes about the research and expertise that permeates this place. Ardecuore is more than just a restaurant: it's a place where passion for flavor blends with a love of hospitality. I will return soon and often. Sincere compliments to all the staff and to Vito for how they welcomed us and made us feel at home.

The culinary experience blends perfectly with a unique atmosphere steeped in history. ​The Ambience: As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the breathtaking beauty of the interior: the stone cross vault, with its striking white and beige striped arches, lends a welcoming, antique charm, making dinner an intimate and special experience. A characteristic, tastefully furnished restaurant that speaks of Puglia and tradition. ​The Cuisine: The menu offers a selection of dishes that celebrate the sea and local flavors with creativity and quality. Our experience was a feast of flavor: ​The seafood appetizers were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We relied entirely on the staff for everything from the main course to dessert. ​Special mention goes to their attentiveness to dietary requirements. A sign of great professionalism and customer care. The Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the right wine (since it's also a Taperia & Cantina) and describe the dishes with passion. They make you feel at home, pampered yet discreet. In summary: Penny Restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it's a sensory experience that combines history, culinary excellence (especially seafood), and great hospitality. Highly recommended for a memorable dinner in Brindisi.

11/12/2025: Oh my, to anyone who hasn't tried this cuisine yet, you absolutely must try it! We had orecchiette with turnip tops, orecchiette with ragù, and mixed roast beef—like nothing we've ever had in our lives. The staff are kind and always attentive... as for the desserts, nothing to complain about, because I even asked for seconds and they immediately satisfied them. Coming to Ceglie and not stopping by Giuseppe's will never happen again... we'll be regulars from now on. Thanks to all the staff.

29/10/2025: A real find in the heart of Ceglie! We had lunch on Sunday and it didn't disappoint. We chose the set menu with a house appetizer, a choice of first course, and a second course: everything was truly delicious! The restaurant is meticulously maintained, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The owner welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home right away.

15/11/2025: We can’t thank the team at Masseria Il Frantoio enough. Nico, Serena, Angela and the whole team were incredible through our wedding celebration and week long stay in September. They made all of our guests from Australia feel incredibly welcome, and the food experience from breakfast to dinner is unmatched in quality. We had the most beautiful celebration with a ceremony in the olive grove, an incredible 8 course dinner under the stars and party in the courtyard. We can’t wait to come back again with friends and family in the years ahead, it’s the most beautiful place. Thank you again!

09/11/2025: Lovely place and people! The property was beautiful and we were made to feel very welcomed. The highlight for me was the olive oil tasting session! It was fun and informative. The hotel is also in a great location for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

11/11/2025: Never disappoints! Excellent steakhouse. Don't get too carried away, otherwise you risk overdoing it. The meat was excellent and well-cooked. For two, we ordered four spicy sausages, a skewer of spicy bombette, ten turcinieddhi (splendidly cooked), a generous portion of beef strips, a portion of excellent baked potatoes, a cassata, a liter of house rosé wine, and a liter of water. Price was €28 per person. I'd say it's a fair value given the quality. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the young waiters were truly attentive and professional.

09/11/2025: We went to this grill restaurant near the center of Brindisi last night and had the meat. Everything was delicious, but unfortunately, we realized after we got the bill, and it had been miscalculated. The three of us spent €110. Furthermore, we didn't have a receipt for the total, but we were charged €40 each.
