25/07/2025: The food was amazing!! Try the Milanese Risotto, it was the very best 😍 the service is amazing as well. Would highly recommend.

23/07/2025: An all-around successful restaurant! The atmosphere is pleasant, the view beautiful, and the service. The waitress, in particular, was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu may not be very extensive, but every dish is a hit: creative, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Kudos to the kitchen! The cooking here is done with skill, attention to detail, and true passion! A good bottle of wine and the evening is perfect. Tip: Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is rather small.

13/09/2025: I returned after years and didn't regret it. As always, everything was excellent; I highly recommend it. A very relaxed atmosphere with delicious food at fair prices. The only drawback: there are only two restrooms, which isn't enough for the size of the place.

14/08/2025: Best restaurant in Domodossola. We visited twice, enjoying the 6-course menu once and the à la carte menu once. The fish dishes are extremely good and perfectly balanced. The service is very attentive and friendly. Plus, you have a fantastic view of the city and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. My only minor criticism: I had a rack of lamb, which was unfortunately cooked thoroughly and not medium. For dessert, I had the "Chocolate Trilogy." I found the chocolate mousse too dense. Furthermore, the layering of dark, light, and white chocolate wasn't well thought out. I would have preferred the exact opposite, starting with white chocolate and then working toward the more bitter flavors at the end. But these minor criticisms don't justify a point deduction, so they still deserve full marks. And a tip for other guests: Stick to the chef's core competency, which is clearly fish!

09/08/2025: Everything was delicious! I was there in March 2025 with friends. I'll gladly return. I want to mention the kindness of the staff. I have one regret: there was an amazing lasagna that I didn't order. I regret it. Don't make the same mistake I did!

25/08/2025: I went there on Friday evening with my partner, and I can say that we're always greeted with a smile and professionalism, always accompanied by the friendliness of the staff... The menu is mostly gluten-free, with dishes from appetizers to dessert also available for vegetarians and vegans. In 2025, that's the minimum... but not a given. Both Alice and I recommend the place. PS: Remember to book because it's always FULL... Well done, well done, well done...

25/08/2025: A really nice restaurant, definitely worth a visit. Everyone is very friendly and the food is delicious. They also have a variety of (local) specialty beers in bottles.

23/08/2025: A quiet restaurant in a quiet village, a welcome escape from the chaos of Stresa. The staff were friendly and courteous, and we had lunch by the lake. Good value for money. We'll definitely be back. One thing I really appreciated was the smoking ban at the outdoor tables.

01/06/2025: I have just been to La Zucca restaurant in Arola and I have to say it was a delightful experience! The place is welcoming and warm, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home straight away. The food was simply excellent, with a variety of dishes that will surely satisfy all tastes. But what really made the difference was the cheese and dessert trolley, which was simply exquisite! A real treat for cheese and dessert lovers. The service was friendly and professional, with staff who were very attentive to the needs of the customers. I would highly recommend La Zucca in Arola to anyone looking for a high quality culinary experience in a welcoming and pleasant environment.

13/08/2025: A restaurant worth visiting. The seafood salad appetizer was very fresh and tasty, the ravioli was delicious, and the lamb chops were also tasty. Although we didn't order the fried seafood, other tables did and it looked very good.

05/08/2025: A charming and romantic location, the staff are kind, professional, and above all welcoming. The dishes are delicious and generous. I love the tagliolini with pistachio cream and shrimp...the prices are fair. The Borgo is an excellent side dish.

27/08/2025: A very quaint place, with fast and very friendly staff and excellent food (I recommend the Neapolitan pizza, the fried food, and the Spritz). I've been to Stresa twice and eaten here twice; it's best to make a reservation because it gets very busy.

31/08/2025: We were greeted with courtesy and kindness. Homemade cuisine made with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the nettle gnocchi with gorgonzola and speck and the tagliatelle with sausage and mushrooms. The house wine (a Barbera) was excellent, as was the venison steak. Finally, we also appreciated the homemade desserts. An excellent experience in a family-friendly atmosphere. Recommended.

04/09/2025: We cannot understand a single one of the negative reviews. This was the best meal on our holiday so far. The food was all excellent, all the dishes were tasty and well balanced. We had Goats cheese salad, bruschetta with burrata, ham and peaches, to start. Then ravioli and octopus taglioni. All so good my partner went back and ordered the seared octopus off the starters again. We both also enjoyed desserts. If we had another night here I’m sure we would be back. Thank you.

13/08/2025: Food is ok but service is bad. We were sentes in a very hot part of the terrace, when some guests in a cooler placé left we asked the waitress if we could change table (we didnt start eating yet, Didnt even order) and while looking annoyed she said it’s reserved. Of course it wasnt, they didnt even clean that table and no customer came. Also she made a mistake in taking the order and i did tint receive what I ordered. Overall not nice staff, no smiles nothing, just the feeling that we are bothering them.
