05/08/2025: We caught the ferry over and walked here, it's up a lot of steps but through the beautiful old part of town with all the picturesque laneways. Clean comfortable good breakfast. Great restaurant recommendation.

12/07/2025: We stayed with Anna (the owner), who was courteous and efficient. The rooms are beautiful, bright, and clean. The location is excellent, quiet, and just steps from the center of the nightlife.

11/07/2025: Skøn udsigt over landskabet. Vi fik en lækker 6-retters tasting-menu med mange lokale særpræg. Omfattende og flot vinkort. Meget venlig og opmærksom betjening. Vi kommer meget gerne igen :-)

14/06/2025: Consigliatomi dalla proprietaria del Gioco dell'Oca di Barolo, si è rivelato un ottima scelta. Una calda sera di giugno, con un tavolo affacciato sul panorama dei colli al tramonto, ci ha dato una occasione indimenticabile per gustare dei piatti molto buoni e accompagnati dall'ottimo vino bianco tipico di Novello. Il gestore, assieme a tutto lo staff, ha assicurato un servizio perfetto durante tutta la serata. Se devo scegliere un piatto, l'antipasto di fiori di zucca farciti fritti - piatto semplice ma esecuzione spettacolare. Peccato per un avventore che, con un sigaro pestilenziale, ha ammorbato la conclusione del pasto (cestini di sfoglia con chantilly e frutti di bosco.... ottimi): sarebbe ora di vietare questa pratica in toto, almeno in qualsiasi luogo pubblico.

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.

12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.

25/07/2025: Un Spritz Aperol quasi « Virgin »… ultra light. Une cuisine un peu bâclée. Des aubergines grillées à peine assaisonnées et manquant un peu de cuisson. La panacota à 6,50€ qui ne Ressemble pas à grand chose : 2/3 d’une petite verrine remplie d’une simple crème épaissie, sans coulis ni garniture!!! Ridicule en taille comparée au tiramisu qui lui est correct! Et pour clôturer, le serveur en chef qui se paye ma tête lorsque je lui exprime ma déception par rapport au dessert!!!

08/07/2025: Ho prenotato presso questa struttura la festa a sorpresa per i 60 anni di mio marito circa un anno fa. Versato caparra, fissato menù, stabilito sala ecc. a qualche gg dalla festa il titolare mi dice che non saremmo stati nella sala pattuita perché nel frattempo gli è subentrato un matrimonio. Si dimentica che avevamo nella ns festa anche un dj…. Conclusione? Chiusi nella sala interna (x non disturbare i clienti del ristorante) e senza musica sempre x non disturbare, peccato che io abbia comunque pagato dj e tutto il resto. Tutti invitati scontenti. Non ci tornerò

10/07/2025: On paye la vue et c est tout. Une douzaine de Gnocchi sans goût et en dessert un Tiramisu avec des boudoirs tout sec sans avoir été trempé initialement

15/06/2025: De pasta was goed, maar de pizza smaakte naar verbrand plastic. We hebben daar iets van gezegd en de pizza is van de rekening afgehaald. Dat was wel netjes. Mooi uitzicht op Lago Maggiore. Bediening was vriendelijk.

20/08/2025: Dinner at the adjacent restaurant "Le Fief" (where my partner and I stayed) was like something out of a thousand and one nights: beautiful location, romantic atmosphere, and incredible dishes, from presentation to flavor! I absolutely want to compliment the maître d', CORRADO, who was perfect: talented, knowledgeable, and always attentive to everything. His experience really elevates the restaurant and made our experience even more enjoyable and perfect! In short, for us, dinner at LE FIEF was the highlight of this wonderful Ferragosto weekend, and we highly recommend it to everyone...we'll be back!!

07/07/2025: Heerlijke pizza, zoals een pizza moet zijn! Dunne bodem en rijkelijk belegd. Als dessert tiramisu gehad. Gewoon zalig!!

22/06/2025: Una buena comida italiana honesta a un costo razonable, con una oferta de vino sensata, es decir, tenían una carta de vinos corta pero interesante, pero también hacían vino de casa muy modesto y agradable al paladar por la jarra. Su oferta principal es pizza con varias páginas de clásicos, pero también giros modernos, y el horno de pizza está justo en su cara al entrar en este pequeño lugar tranquilo de la calle lateral. Tienen otras opciones de comida que probamos también, y una tabla de ofertas diarias. Las pizzas son tan diferentes a las versiones delgadas del Reino Unido como la masa era tan suave y deliciosa. Nos quedamos tan impresionados que comimos allí cuatro noches seguidas! El personal es genial y servicial, y el restaurante debe estar haciendo algo bien, ya que fueron embestidos cada noche que estuvimos allí.

14/07/2025: Maden var lokal, lækkert, frisk. Smagte super dejligt. Vi var de eneste med børn, men det fungerede meget fint alligevel. Fik lov til at bestille en børne-pasta, selvom der ikke var børne-retter på kortet. Kan anbefales.

08/07/2025: Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich hatte ein Rindertatar als Vorspeise. Mein Mann wählte keine. Aber sie brachten unaufgefordert 2 Teller und stellten die Vorspeise in die Mitte. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Das Rindertatar war hervorragend. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals ein so perfektes Tatar gegessen zu haben. Engagiert abgeschmeckt und mit karamellisiert Zwiebeln, Kapern und gerüsteten Mandeln war es einfach hervorragend! Auch der Hauptgang, ich hatte Pasta mit Muscheln, war nicht nur mit seiner sanften Schärfe köstlich, sondern auch wirklich so abgeschmeckt, dass es kein Nachwürzen bedarf. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, auch wenn der Service bis auf eine Ausnahme sehr steif war. Das Essen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Es ist wunderbare italienische Küche!
