26/04/2025: Last night they didn't let us in for any reason, we were 2 boys and a girl and for some reason they told us we couldn't enter. The bouncer was talking on the radio and saying the owner saw it on the camera, even though it didn't make sense. I asked for a reason why but no one gave us a reason. Based on art.187 of TULPS, bars cannot make customer choices but only if the customer is drunk or does not respect the dress code or if the customer is aggressive. We were all right and calm. Then others arrived also dressed in sportswear and in groups of 5-6 boys and entered without problems. I've been there before and the bouncers act as if it were their bar. Starving. People smoke and do drugs everywhere. I think this is the clientele they want. Only drug addicts. At some point I thought about filing a complaint but I don't want to deal with these people.

25/04/2025: Good evening. I'm writing on my way home because the Albanian bouncer has decided that males don't enter. Initially they told us that it is by reservation, then when two of our friends were already inside without a reservation and came out to say so, they said that only girls can enter. The funny thing is that after two minutes another group of guys arrived and they weren't allowed in because the Albanian bouncer remembered that there had been an argument two years ago. The other bouncers had no power, we followed the Albanian's orders. Tonight they lost 8 customers while the place was empty at 01:00.

16/05/2025: Ho letto alcune recensioni molto positive ed alcune negative. A mio avviso la pizza è buona (2 maggio 2025): napoletana, ben cotta, bordo non bruciato, spessore medio, digeribile. Prezzi onesti. Tovagliette di carta. Servizi igienici puliti. Locale affollato ma comunque vivibile, senza prenotazione (tavoli per due persone di dimensioni corrette, ho cenato all'interno). Ci tornerei.

11/05/2025: Ci siamo stati più e più volte negli anni,anche con medie tavolate in famiglia e/o amici, principalmente per la pizza. Purtroppo gradualmente è calata la qualità complessiva della pizza. Ultimamente la goccia che ha fatto traboccare il vaso è stata la scarsa presenza dei condimenti, nonché la qualità del pomodoro,peraltro crudo, uno pseudo salame piccante non a fette ma sbriciolato. Insomma una regressione tale che non soddisfa più il nostro palato. Peccato perché è stato per noi un punto di riferimento. È stato.

03/06/2025: Paramos aquí por casualidad y nos enamoramos. La vista desde la terraza es inolvidable, y el tajarin con ragu era simplemente perfecto - casero, lleno de sabor. Renza nos recibió como viejos amigos. No hay lujo, solo comida real, gente real, y puro encanto Langhe. ¡No te lo pierdas!

16/05/2025: Il ristorante stesso descrive perfettamente quello che offre, per cui non aspettatevi nulla di diverso da quello che viene dichiarato nella descrizione. Non si prenota, si lascia il nome, lo Staff ti dice a che ora sarebbe disponibile il tavolo, si torna all'ora concordata e il tavolo sarà pronto. Se siete a Castiglione Faletto, e avete voglia di uno spuntino da Renza, andate a comunicare le vostre preferenze di orario lasciando il nome come prima cosa. A inizio Maggio, con una leggera brezza, si stava bene. Con più freddo o più caldo non credo che sarebbe stato altrettanto piacevole. Ampissima scelta di vini del territorio, ottimi i piatti, tutti freddi ma fatti assolutamente a mestiere in porzioni onestissime. Veloce il servizio. Un'idea carina per fare uno spuntino di qualità, prezzi appena sopra il dovuto, come dappertutto in quelle zone.

19/06/2025: It was pretty hot on Isola Pescatori, and we had 20 minutes to kill before our ferry, so we dropped in for a drink. I made it clear we only wanted a drink and was told it was OK. Our drinks arrived promptly along with a chit that showed our order but no price. Thirst sated, we headed to the register to pay. The head honcho ( Manuel?) was dealing with another couple. When they had paid, he (Manuel?) just wandered off out the front door! No explanation and no eye contact. We waited politely until he turned up (without explanation) by which time 6 others were waiting. I showed him the chit but his eyes were on the bill for the previous couple (€89). I again drew his, somewhat limited attention, to the chit. All he said was £42. One water (a plastic .5l bottle, one lemonade and one beer). £42! If it was one bourbon, one scotch and one beer at the Ritz, maybe. Thanks for ruining my day, Manuel?

11/06/2025: Typical tourist trap sidewalk solicitation. What follows is more of the same: a gloomy, enclosed courtyard serving as a terrace, a nondescript kitchen... It's cheap, but not worth the price. Avoid.

14/01/2025: Location incantevole. Cantina molto fornita per gli amanti del buon vino. La cena discreta, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. I prezzi in generale sono adeguati al servizio offerto. Piscina bella ma sovraffollata.

29/04/2025: Aperitivo correlato a una conferenza del Circolo dei Lettori. Situato in un luogo storico (Palazzo Graneri della Roccia), intatto e perfettamente conservato, molto suggestivo e silenzioso. Ideale per far conversazioni davanti a un bicchiere e a qualche stuzzichino. Un'ottima selezione di salumi e formaggi; forse si può lavorare su pizze e focacce, migliorandone la qualità. Prosecco discreto. Personale molto cortese.

22/02/2025: Bicchieri e piatti di carta nel buffet Cucchiaini carta x yogurt Signora pulizie con carrello delle pulizie attraversa sala mentre le persone mangiano Buffet non ricchissimo ma buono : mancano ad esempio formaggi ed affettati e soprattutto i pancakes o i bugels tipici delle culture anglosassoni : non dovrebbero essere tra i piatti da scegliere bensì nel buffet Personale molto gentile e disponibile

16/03/2025: Bad experience is an understatement... we were 8 people... booked for days... For whatever we wanted to order from the menu, the waiter had to ask the kitchen for the ingredients to be able to choose that dish. In fact, some of our choices could not be satisfied. We ask for two plates of spaghetti with clams but the clams were not enough for two portions... so we opt for the spaghetti with seafood, no, we don't have seafood. We ask for 4 portions of spaghetti with artichokes (pasta with garlic and oil placed on a pan with a few artichokes that taste like cardboard) ... they tell us: "I don't know if it's enough for four portions" ... we order a mixed grill ... a paltry piece of sausage arrives, a small piece of bacon and 1/2 slice of pork.. thrown like that on the plate.. then we understood why on Sunday for lunch the restaurant was empty while the others in the town were full…. . Very poor food, miserable portions… crazy prices…. Never again…..

05/04/2025: Sono veramente basita dalla maleducazione del proprietario. Io e mio marito ci siamo recati per una cena prima dello spettacolo al vicino teatro. Abbiamo ordinato due farinate e due pizze. Mentre stavamo ancora consumando il primo piatto (io ero a metà), ci hanno portato le pizze. Alla mia rimostranza ci è stato detto che le avrebbero messe al caldo. Non appena abbiamo terminato la farinata, le stesse pizze sono tornate tiepide e gommose perché non erano più fresche. L'ho fatto presente al cameriere che gentilmente ci ha detto che le avrebbe fatte rifare. Dopo pochi minuti sono tornate le stesse e ci è stato detto che il proprietario non aveva nessuna intenzione di rifarle. Ci siamo alzati per andarcene, non ci hanno consentito di pagare e questo mi ha innervosita, perché non siamo morti di fame. Inoltre il titolare mi ha fatto il gesto col la mano a coltello per indicarmi di andarmene Questo a casa mia dove impera l'educazione, è un insulto , l'ho fatto presente e l'uomo ha continuato. Capisco che quando si è molto anziani come lui, si perdano freni inibitori, ma le buone maniere soprattutto in presenza di clienti sono un "must". Se volete mangiare alla velocità della luce anche con il locale completamente vuoto com'era durante la ns visita e vi fa piacere essere trattati come cani allora accomodatevi. Se siete invece persone educate e per bene evitate questa pizzeria come la peste!

14/03/2025: Mi ero ripromesso di non tornarci più….Poi ci ho ripensato e questa è stata la scelta peggiore che potessi avere… preso una pizza e una porzione di farinata ….. il gusto non mi convinceva e avevo ragione e me ne sono accorto il giorno dopo…..ora le analisi e poi vedremo come procedere…
