Upon entering you already have a different feeling because the room is nice (even though we had a place next to a fridge for drinks and in such a large place it's not clear why it would be appropriate to put a fridge near the tables) but there is a dark and unused part (perhaps the hotel breakfast room?). The menu is rather limited. However, both the veal with tuna sauce and the mixed boiled meat are good, and the sliced ​​meat is also good. The wine list is completely inadequate for the type of structure (only one prosecco and not of excellent quality). Of the dining room staff, only one very knowledgeable young waiter survived who explained the dishes to us and was able to give useful information, the other two not suitable for the type of structure. We expected a lot but were very disappointed

If I had to review the hotel parking I would have given six stars, even the restaurant did well in the end. In short, if I had to review the potential of this hotel... it would have been an excellent rating. But that's not all! The structure of the rooms is decadent, the camp beds, because they are camp beds, are embarrassing, the furniture is horrible, the bathroom is beyond review. Putting a welcome bottle of water in the room? Needless to say. Then I've already said it many times, unfortunately, at breakfast the food such as biscuits, creams and various drinks must be hermetically sealed in disposable containers!! Come on!

01/11/2024: Tourist rip off!!! The prices for the drinks are okay, but you have to pay 3 euros per person for the cover, even if you only drink something. In our case that would be over 60 percent surcharge! The Aperol for 5 euros is an absolute lure, 70 percent of which consists only of ice. The service was extremely poor and slow, and the waiter was not very motivated. I can only advise against it!

15/04/2025: aggiungerei una magnifica terrazza, con una vista invidiabile sulle vigne e a due passi dal centro di Castiglione. non è però un ristorante: non ci sono primi, non ci sono secondi e credo neanche ci siano dei fuochi in cucina: antipasti freddi e scelta super limitata ai classici del territorio. il tutto ai prezzi di un pranzo completo in osteria! potrei anche comprendere il tutto, vista anche la ricca scelta di vini che perdona ogni cosa, ma 1 non si prenota 2 la coda è interminabile. semplicemente, meglio altro; magari da fermarcisi nell’ipotetico giorno con pochi clienti e tavolo casualmente libero, non lo consiglierei però a un amico che deve recarsi a Castiglione appositamente per mangiare da Renza.

06/04/2025: Il nostro tour nelle Langhe non poteva che iniziare nel migliore dei modi grazie all’aperitivo che abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare presso il bar Da Renza che si trova a Castiglione Falletto, un piccolo borghetto. Una terrazza panoramica che offre la possibilità di pranzare in tranquillità sorseggiando un calice di vino il tutto accompagnato da buon cibo e un servizio amichebole. Un’esperienza assolutamente da provare se siete in tour per le Langhe.

05/04/2025: Restaurant review in Intra: Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was decidedly disappointing. Despite the attempt to present itself as a refined establishment, the quality of service and food are far from those expectations. We were recommended one of the thematic menus (sea, lake, land), with the promise of quick preparation, but we found ourselves waiting over an hour for the first course. The situation worsened when, after having served the first one, our cutlery was taken away for no reason, and, after a long wait, they brought us the second one without even remembering to provide us with new cutlery. We had to get up on our own to get them. The quality of the food was also far below expectations: poor dishes, excessively seasoned with garlic and not very tasty. We can only advise against this restaurant. The lack of customer focus and poor quality do not justify the visit. A real disappointment. It's a shame because it's one of the first restaurants that appears when you get off the ferry and it's a terrible business card.

31/03/2025: A place whose only exception is the fact that, as the name suggests, it is located on the lakefront. For the rest, a restaurant to forget: we took the lake menu, therefore the menu of the day, and we had to wait half an hour for an acceptable first course and another 25 minutes for an inedible fried lake fish accompanied by baked potatoes of poor quality and horrible taste. Despite the long wait, the owners didn't even have the good sense to give us a small discount, a gesture we would have appreciated. Furthermore, the rest of the service also leaves something to be desired, the waitress dropped oil, glasses and cutlery and not just us. We definitely won't be back and we don't recommend it to everyone.

07/10/2024: I can't recommend this restaurant, there wasn't a dish on the daily menu, the steak was ordered medium rare and a half-rare piece of meat was brought that consisted mostly of fat and tendons. To be fair, we didn't have to pay for the steak after complaining. The service was anything but expert, inattentive and only discreetly friendly. A bottle of wine that we ordered came to the table already opened and we only received a wine cooler when we asked. The dishes were more lukewarm than hot. Overall a disappointment. Update or response to feedback from the owner: Since the proprietario does not have any connection with our specialist specialists, the comment is "incompetent clients" and is arrogant.

23/08/2024: Excellent restaurant a stone's throw from the lively square which surprises with its cozy, bucolic and calm interior courtyard. The staff were very charming and the cuisine refined and plentiful. The spaghetti with truffles was succulent and the plate very generous with lots of large slices of truffle. Recommended!

01/04/2025: Characteristic place with very friendly staff and punctual and fast service. At midday, a fixed menu with two choices for first and second courses. Good and genuine food. Right portion and very honest price. We will be back.

22/01/2025: La location è molto bella ma il brunch è da dimenticare. Il tavolo con l'allestimento del dolce è davvero sguarnito e deludente, neanche in un hotel a due stelle il buffe della colazione è così "povero". Il baghel era talmente duro che non si riusciva a mordere, tantomeno tagliare con il coltello. Sembrava pane riscaldato al microonde indurito. La cipolla caramellata che doveva accompagnare il piatto inesistente. Le uova e il bacon mediocri, con i medaglioni di patate duri e secchi all'esterno. La panna cotta alla fragola era freddissima, molto densa e senza sapore e il panettoncino servito con la crema talmente secco da risultare immangiabile. Livello molto al disotto delle aspettative, da bar mediocre che prepara piatti surgelati. Prezzi assolutamente fuori contesto per ciò che viene offerto. Il menù, inoltre, ha piatti molto semplici, basterebbe davvero la qualità delle materie prime per fare la differenza. Peccato perché pensavamo di chiedere per un servizio catering per una festa ma abbiamo rinunciato.

16/03/2025: Bad experience is an understatement... we were 8 people... booked for days... For whatever we wanted to order from the menu, the waiter had to ask the kitchen for the ingredients to be able to choose that dish. In fact, some of our choices could not be satisfied. We ask for two plates of spaghetti with clams but the clams were not enough for two portions... so we opt for the spaghetti with seafood, no, we don't have seafood. We ask for 4 portions of spaghetti with artichokes (pasta with garlic and oil placed on a pan with a few artichokes that taste like cardboard) ... they tell us: "I don't know if it's enough for four portions" ... we order a mixed grill ... a paltry piece of sausage arrives, a small piece of bacon and 1/2 slice of pork.. thrown like that on the plate.. then we understood why on Sunday for lunch the restaurant was empty while the others in the town were full…. . Very poor food, miserable portions… crazy prices…. Never again…..

Dispiace veramente Che un locale che manda uno chef ai tavoli per dosare il tartufo Nei piatti, non riesca a fare un Piatto tipico . E’ meglio che segua più la cucina e magari un po’ meno la coreografia dei tevali dove mangiano suoi conoscenti. Lo sconsiglio veramente
