26/12/2025: Positives: Cappelletti in brodo, for which the staff member who made them was introduced by the restaurant manager and received a well-deserved round of applause. The dish didn't deserve a full score; the broth for this iconic dish was lukewarm... a shame. Mediocres: > The room temperature was low upon arrival; we asked for the heating to be turned up. > Entree: mini supplí balls on a pepper cream, cold masticata-style pasta, a hesitant preview to begin with. > Mixed appetizers: vitello tonnato could be improved, polenta with melted cheese and bacon was insignificant because it wasn't seasoned. The grilled cotechino was noteworthy. Stuffed breasola tortelli could easily be replaced with something more valuable. > lasagna: titled "from when I was a kid," it features an unusual alternating of lasagna noodles, slices of mortadella, and sliced ​​cheese, topped with crusty ragù. This meant that our entire dining room, including our table, must have had 60 guests, who, after the first few forkfuls, left it on their plates. The staff's explanation for this blunder was that the dish is a recipe from Novara, and the chef replacing the regular chef seems to have been influenced. > the boiled meats are accompanied by a cocktail sauce and a salsa verde, which, in essence, create a dilemma for the critics, arguing between their insufficient quantity and their actual purpose in the boiled meats (both were rejected). At home, I would have eaten less improvised and more flavorful sauces to accompany the boiled meats. > fritto misto: a real sword of Damocles. If eating it makes you miss grandma's, it's poorly made and poorly reheated, and that's not a valid incentive to come and eat it like this. Fried Italian-style food is the epitome of poor cuisine; made like this, it'll die. > Homemade desserts: slices of panettone with pieces of nougat here and there, fairly consistent with the Christmas menu we've been serving up to now for €60 per person. Money wasted. Dissatisfied. We won't be returning. One of the most serious offenses against Italian cuisine is the "lasagna from when I was a child." The aggravating factor lies with the restaurant's management: it should have been tried sooner rather than debuting it blindly on Christmas Day and then suffering from this massive dissatisfaction. Eight months ago, we were always guests, we had a great time and expected a repeat. Yesterday, the restaurant wasn't even a distant relative, as if management had changed hands.
29/11/2025: A very disappointing experience. The food arrived cold and tasteless, the service was slow and disorganized, and the place didn't seem clean. Considering the prices, I expected much better. I wouldn't recommend it.

01/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and were immediately captivated by the tranquil atmosphere and well-kept ambiance. We ordered a fried fish and two first courses, all excellent. The ravioli were particularly recommended for their combination of flavors and textures. Interesting desserts, and the staff and owner were top-notch. We'll definitely be back, thanks for everything!

01/09/2025: Welcoming restaurant with an open kitchen. We had sesame-dipped prawns, a tuna appetizer, tagliatelle with tuna and Taggiasca olives, and fish tempura. Cannoli filled with mascarpone and chocolate shavings. Everything was cooked and presented impeccably. The restaurant was quiet and reasonably priced. Excellent wine list.
28/07/2025: A round of applause for this chef who dares and innovates. We dined à la carte, choosing two excellent raw fish appetizers and a creamy Bronte pistachio risotto with scampi tails. Complex yet balanced dishes, thanks to the combination of ingredients that complement each other, creating harmony and contrasts that are pleasing to the palate. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

02/01/2026: Experience today, January 2, 2026. High expectations, given the amount of advertising and the participation in the 4 Restaurants program. The service was courteous but not attentive to the flaws pointed out. My partner and I were there as a couple. We ordered two appetizers: one was monkfish in porchetta, with an unpleasant aftertaste, perhaps from the pork that finished it and perhaps added flavor. We didn't like it. The stuffed squid was a second appetizer, tough and flavorless, nothing exceptional. The artichoke and licorice was, in fact, an undercooked artichoke that had left the licorice somewhere along the way. The first course was stuffed cappellacci with a broth sauce, but what was a raw corn cob doing in there? I didn't ask for raw food; besides, two bones in the middle of the ravioli isn't exactly pleasant. At least the bones were clearly visible! The dessert was neither praise nor infamy, but we didn't like the airy chocolate served on a kind of ashtray, not because it wasn't good, but because it didn't fit in that kind of dish—sometimes practicality trumps aesthetics. The small pastries were a saving grace. It was definitely a negative experience. We wanted to be generous in our assessment. Obviously, we didn't leave a tip. The mint and basil popsicle scoop before dessert was a great idea.

04/11/2025: Stayed at the Seeport Hotel and had dinner at their restaurant - Ginevra. One of the finest most delicious meals I have ever enjoyed. The service was perfect and Roberto selected excellent wines to complement our dishes. Loved Ancona and this restaurant experience!
17/10/2025: I ate them on the first night of my hotel stay. The two dishes I ordered, the grilled calamari and the spaghetti with Conero mussels, were almost inedible. The calamari wasn't grilled at all and was stuffed with something indecipherable, with an unpleasant fishy flavor. The spaghetti also had a bad taste, lacking any real mussel flavor. The restaurant is showing off for no reason. Even the small appetizers offered on the house weren't good. The service was extremely long, the music too loud, and the prices were definitely exorbitant.

19/12/2025: I went to this restaurant for a birthday lunch on Sunday, November 30, with a table of about 40 people, and unfortunately, my experience was very negative. The presence of a celiac was reported both when I made my reservation over the phone and upon arrival at the restaurant, but despite this, my gluten-free first course was completely forgotten and arrived only after everyone else had finished eating. Unfortunately, the worst incident occurred when the second course arrived: a waiter accidentally spilled all the sauce from the meat on me, staining my clothes and dirtying me from head to toe. My clothes, all of which were valuable, remained stained despite my every effort to clean them, making the inconvenience even greater. Accidents can certainly happen, but what made the situation unacceptable was the way it was handled. Instead of a proper apology and genuine regret, I was told I could either not pay for the meal or bring the laundry receipt. In such a context, I would have expected more attentive management and a greater sense of responsibility toward the customer. A disappointing experience in many ways, especially considering the large table and the attention that should be given to those with special dietary needs. Situations like this shouldn't happen. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this restaurant at all.

26/08/2025: They only serve fresh fish, nouvelle cuisine style. You can eat tortelli alla contrario, which have fish broth inside and sauce on the outside, with prawns and shrimp, all very delicate. I also had the fritto misto, which is a mountain of fish with amazing battered vegetables on top!!! They also give you a pineapple and lime sauce to freshen up the fried fish, instead of lemon (it's sweet). To start, they serve olive bread, onion pizza, and breadsticks, which they make themselves, accompanied by an emulsified butter cream with lime and mint, which is delicious!!! I always drink the Bolle Rosé Burgundy, which is a great price. You can eat in the Piazza del Duomo, weather permitting, where the sunset is truly picturesque. I ate the paccheri with lobster with half a lobster all to eat... excellent!!! The cheesecake is something unique!!! Both for the mise en plasse and for the taste, accompanied by berries. They are pet-friendly both in winter and summer, and this is an added value. I always recommend it to all my customers, who are always very satisfied.

In the evening a unique spectacle because when you go out you find yourself in Piazza Garibaldi which is wonderful at night. I invite you to adapt to NO ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS

22/06/2025: Klei visrestaurant in centrum van numana. Vlotte, vriendelijke bediening, ook in het Engels. Wat avontuurlijker keuken dan het gemiddeld Italiaans restaurant. Goede rauwe visbereidingen en zeer lekkere inktvisbereidingen.
21/06/2025: Cena giugno 2025, gentilezza ottimo servizio, olive all'anconetana eccellenti, tartar di fassona piemontese condita con capperi cipolla e senape veramente buono, una delle migliori che abbia mangiato oltre al vino consigliato dalla gentile e simpatica biondina. Visto altri piatti di pesce alla vista molto invitante. Quando ritornerò a Numana mi fermerò qui a cena. Consigliato.
