Orietta In Cupramontana

Traditional but super tasty food with a glass of Verdicchio wine. The dessert (tiramisu) was also delicious. Highly recommended!

I can't make comparisons with the old management, but I can speak about my lunch experience with the new one. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is intimate, and the surrounding plaza is lovely and quiet. The cuisine strikes a balance between quality and abundance, but not necessarily both: the amatriciana was plentiful and decent, the fried chicken with chips and cremini sauce was excellent, but the portions were more moderate (but adequate). The only downside is the slow service in a practically empty room. In short, Orietta used to be a place where people from out of the region came to eat; today, there are plenty of other options of the same quality and with a similar experience. I hope to update my review in the future and that the new owners will grow with their experience.

The owner is a nice person, he found himself in a complicated situation and solved it in an excellent way.

The location is beautiful, right near the Roman gate. The Verdicchio rooster with roast potatoes is delicious. The tiramisu is also a highlight, sweet enough but very creamy. Fair prices.
