30/04/2026: Sunday lunch, excellent welcome, management was quick to advise us. Delicious food at a fair price. We ate on the veranda; the place inside is nicer.

25/04/2026: Good food and ingredients, a quaint and traditional atmosphere. Regarding the service: It's true that today is April 25th and there were a lot of people. Perhaps a little too rushed and hasty; the dishes aren't passed to the diners to be placed at their various seats, but rather placed in their places one by one. Anyway, well done guys, you're top-notch! 👍

27/02/2026: Don't be fooled by the name: Osteria Al 26 is a decidedly sophisticated establishment. The refined setting and modern atmosphere are ideal for those seeking a dinner where the aesthetics of the dish matter as much as the flavor. The cuisine stands out for its quality ingredients and refined presentation: the ravioli are excellent, both with mushrooms and bacon and with basil cream and confit tomatoes. Even the main courses, such as the Angus strips, demonstrate a careful attention to the selection of meats. The portions are not excessive, but carefully calibrated for a tasting experience that emphasizes the balance of flavors. The elegantly presented desserts and the wine list, which perfectly complement the meal, deserve special mention. Excellent value. A safe bet for those who want to eat well in a classy setting without overcharging.

The young and helpful staff was friendly, though at times inattentive and not entirely up to the restaurant's image. Unfortunately, the wait was very long: after about two hours, the second course arrived, and at that point, we still hadn't received the side dishes. This situation, regretfully, forced us to leave and not be able to finish our dinner. The food had potential, but the preparation felt rushed; overall, the experience wasn't entirely satisfying. Something was deducted from the bill, a gesture I appreciated. However, I didn't feel truly understood or welcomed in my comments, which I preferred to report only at the cashier, out of respect for the staff working in the dining room. 20/04/2026: Located on the Civitanova seafront, the restaurant presents itself as a casual pizzeria, yet without sacrificing tasteful decor. The space perhaps feels a bit claustrophobic. The menu offers a good variety of pizzas, appetizers, first courses, and second courses, at reasonable prices. The pizza can be a bit dry, with some minor inaccuracies and slightly disjointed flavors in the case of the pizza I chose, but it's still enjoyable. The fried foods are recommended, truly delicious. The service, however, was inattentive and at times unfriendly (also due to the fact that the restaurant was busy). Dishes were left at the table without being distributed, forcing us to serve ourselves, and the staff was at times impatient and rather brusque.

18/04/2026: I'm disappointed. They make German-style pizza here. This is Pflamkuchen, not pizza. The price is cheap, that's why.

25/03/2026: Recommended by a friend who lived here. Excellent local cuisine, and the pizzas looked delicious too. We ordered polenta crostini, a first course, a second course, a dessert, a liqueur, a small glass of house wine, and a quarter of it. The price was €61. Everything was excellent, and the staff was super friendly... We didn't have a reservation, but they accommodated us anyway!

The maître d', Yuri, proved to be extremely competent, attentive, and friendly, with a professional approach to our every request. The service was excellent, making guests feel cared for without being intrusive, and pampered with warmth and friendliness. Overall, a restaurant that manages to combine excellent cuisine, a refined atmosphere, and high-level service. Definitely a place to return to, and one I recommend to anyone who enjoys combining good food and quality staff.

29/10/2025: This is a traditional local restaurant which provides excellent food at an incredible value. The locals show up at 1PM for lunch but even though they officially open at 12:15 they were more than happy to serve us when we arrived at noon. My wild boar was delicious and my wife's tagliatelle with pecorino and black pepper was great! The service was great, I highly recommend visiting.

16/03/2026: As a restaurateur like you, for me you are too expensive: 2 complete starters, 1 first course, 1.5 litres of wine on tap and 2 coffees. 110 euros to eat a bit of the poor fish that the Adriatic offers is a robbery.

22/02/2026: I'm writing this review while waiting an hour and twenty minutes for our first course, from when our appetizers arrived, which themselves arrived 45 minutes later. If you're reading this, I'm probably already starving; pray for my soul.

22/02/2026: I'm sorry to leave this review because I don't usually do so, but unfortunately the experience wasn't positive. I understand it was a Sunday lunch, but for this very reason, it would have been necessary to organize things differently: people kept arriving (even without reservations) even when it was clear they were already having trouble managing the available tables. Perhaps it would have been more appropriate to stop more people coming in to ensure adequate service for those already seated. We arrived at 1:20 PM; the appetizer arrived at 1:50 PM, and the main course at 3:00 PM. 1 hour and 10 minutes late. Truly excessive. However, I must say that the waiters did their best, and we were even sorry to have to hurry because it was clear they were trying to manage a complicated situation. The spaghetti with clams was the only dish we enjoyed. The swordfish was a very, very small portion, while the seafood tagliatelle was poorly blended: it was obvious that the fish had been cooked quickly without any real creaming due to the delay. I hope it was just a bad day for the service, but I'm sorry to say the quality isn't the best.

24/03/2026: Like a 90s star A place just outside the turbulence of the city, Ample parking and quiet... You're welcomed by Alberto's great, natural and sincere courtesy and kindness, as well as excellent advice about the pizza for my palate... The star pizza... Intense flavors, but not heavy, I dare say it was light and digestible... I'll happily return again and again, for that climax of family and courtesy, increasingly rare these days...

10/02/2026: Every time I come to Ascoli I always come back and eat at this restaurant. It's worth it, the food is excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. I'm sure you'll love it.
