I was craving meat, so I chose a grilled beef steak, asking for it rare. Well done, it arrived perfectly cooked, piping hot and delicious. A small flaw in the service... if they put cutlery on your plate, you replace it, not remove it and put it on the table. Still, recommended for the food.

As an art lover, I couldn't help but choose this restaurant for dinner during my visit to Urbino. A truly quaint tavern, with frescoed walls. We wanted to try something traditional, so for an appetizer we chose a mixed platter with grilled cheese, truffle-wrapped egg, peaches, bresaola, almonds, and the "crescere" puff pastry, which I really enjoyed. For our first course, we had tagliolini with radicchio and a local cheese (I don't remember the name), a carbonara, and scallops with cheese and ham, which I understand are also typical of Urbino. Overall, it was good, the service was good; they even brought us a bowl of water for the dog, which was very kind. The price was reasonable for being in the center of Urbino, around €60 per person.

One word: EXCELLENT I highly recommend anything made with porcini mushrooms, especially tagliatelle, which even out of season offer extremely high quality. EXCELLENT main courses - balanced desserts (VERY GOOD)

I was on vacation in Urbino with my partner and our dog. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. I must say, the food was very good and plentiful, and the service was excellent. Excellent value for money.

A good restaurant in Urbino, with slightly lower prices than in the main square. The food is average. I'll just point out, as I mentioned at the register, that the price displayed outside the restaurant is NOT the same once you go to pay. On the receipt, two first courses costing €15 each (tagliatelle with mushrooms and strozzapreti with pesto and shrimp) were marked down, while the price displayed outside and on the menu given to us at the table was €14 each. As for the appetizer, on the receipt, it was marked down to €8, while on the menu outside and at the table it was €7. We reported this error as soon as we left, and they charged us a difference of €2 for the first courses, while the appetizer, they claimed, cost €8, so they didn't charge us the difference. As I mentioned at the register, I recommend updating the OUTSIDE and INDOOR prices because they are subject to inspection and complaint.

The four of us dined here for my daughter's birthday. Delicious menu, lovely wine, and we ate on the outdoor terrace. Highly recommended for a peaceful meal in the beautiful city of Urbino.

07/10/2025: Great expectations miserably failed. Portions bordering on legal, prices very high for the portions of the dishes. Fortunately, the service was excellent and fast, the food good and the fish fresh, but I consider it a steal to have spent forty euros each on a paltry appetizer for which we had asked for plenty and instead received paltry, if you'll pardon the expression; two first courses, one of which was a seafood risotto that wasn't particularly generous; a very modest plate of trofie with crab; a marinara pizza; a seafood pizza that was drowning in mozzarella and, believe me, it didn't go down; a five-euro portion of chips, practically a euro per chip because there were six chips in total; a paltry portion of mixed seafood with four small fish; a portion of mixed fried calamari where four calamari escaped from the plate; and finally two mango desserts whose cream, of indeterminate flavor, didn't have much flavor. My husband had better luck with the mascarpone cream. There were three of us at dinner. The price was too high for the size of the portions. I didn't take photos because the portions were so small that by the time I remembered, it was all gone. A terrible experience. I don't think I'll ever go back. The only positive note was the service, with the friendly waitresses who looked after the customers, which I greatly appreciated. My advice: increase the portions or lower the prices, because in life you have to be honest.

14/08/2025: This small delicatessen owned by Donini Cristina, known by her loyal customers as "Cri," made my wife and I's vacation incredible. The food was special, the service was courteous, and the staff were wonderful. I'll definitely be back next year. Renato and Barbara
